Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

This apartment is as pictured. Very clean and inviting. You do have to park about a short block from the apartment and if you want to use the laundry, you have to pay for it, but the location is great. It is close to Salzburg without the city crowds. The views are amazing and there is shopping close if you want to cook. The 1.5 baths are nice and the pool is great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a clean apartment outside of the city limits of Salzburg.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage run by Maikel and Britt is beautiful and very well located in a medium mountain setting (1350 m) located at the foot of the Hochkönig in a bucolic and relaxing setting. Maikel and Britt are very welcoming and friendly, always present for good advice. The cottage is very clean, spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The sauna is very useful after a good walk. The village of Mühlbarch am Hochkönig is located downstairs 5 km away in a small valley in the center of many hikes and also a family ski resort. We would recommend it.

Great, modern accommodation, excellent natural location and very well appointed. We plan to come back!

Stefan was very kind, we could call him any time when we had some problame. He tried to help us solving problames. The appartment has a perfect view for the mountains, it was in a good location. I can only recommend this appartment to everybody

A beautiful, large, comfortable, quiet well-stocked and relaxing space in a gorgeous setting, exactly like in the photos. Christine is an experienced, kind-hearted and warm host who greeted us warmly and took a lot of time to introduce us to the area. She even and drove us around to point out sights, restaurants and parking. We could easily take a 30 min bus right into Salzburg one day and also drive to a choice of beautiful lakes, in addition to many nearby sights and hikes.

We spent 6 days in the apartment, everything you need was there, including towels and bathrobes. The apartment was clean and the view was gigantic. There is a very tasty pizzeria, Lärchenhof, nearby. You can use all the amenities of the hotel, such as pools, sauna, entertainment for kids, etc. Bread service or half board/full board can also be booked individually. The guest card offers many discounts. We found the stay very nice and will definitely come back! Our kids would have liked to just stay there ;) thanks for the great time!

The accommodation is perfect! There are all kinds of amenities, enough space and everything is clean. The sauna and jacuzzi are an absolute highlight and very easy to use. The accommodation is super cozy. I can recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely beautiful, quiet place. Very quick and thorough communication and the hut had everything we needed. The sauna is wonderful. We (and our dog) loved our week here and would love to stay here again in the future.

Nice 2 bedroom apartment in beautiful surroundings. The house is located 10 minutes outside of the old town, but it is in the most beautiful suburb I have seen. We used the four bikes that came with the place to bike to the old town and to the surrounding parks. There is a very good supermarket across the street and several restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. The place is bright, clean and very functional. The bathroom is large and with a great shower. The kitchen is fully stocked and it has separate washer and dryer if you are staying longer. The beds were comfortable, the blinds kept the light out, and high quality windows made sure there was no noise to be heard. We loved our stay here. Highly recommend if you don't mind staying slightly outside the busyness and noise of the old town.

The house is located in a very nice location in the middle of the meadows and has a nice garden. The interior is spacious and clean. Gisela is a helpful and kind host. Highly recommended

Great apartment and johannes responded very quickly to our question! 30 mins walk but we found the bus 5 mins walk away, no 3 and no 8! Salzburg was amazing, will definitely come back!

We had a great stay, the appartment had plenty of room to relax in, a nice kitchen with plenty of the basic supplies. Very clean, very cosy, lots of nice little touches much more space and personable than a hotel room. Parking space right outside, easy to follow instruction for checking in and out! close to all the shops and nightlife. Five minute walk to the gondola, great little find, would come back and stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you.

We had an enchanting stay at Anita's guest house and highly recommend a visit to Berchtesgadener Land. The apartment was impeccable, sunny and very pretty - everything we needed to rest and explore. Anita was available to give us tips for hikes and restaurants. Although the apartment is close to the country road, traffic stops at night. A heartfelt thank you for the hospitality!

The accommodation is very nice and there is everything you need. The garden offers plenty of space for dogs. In general, the house is very well located if you want to go hiking in summer and then refresh yourself at the creek right next to it. Communication was flawless, the hosts went out of their way to respond to individual requests. We will definitely be back!

Great location and very comfortable accommodations. Fun part of the city and quite walkable to the main part of town. Some wonderful restaurants and cafes located very close by. Great lighting, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. I’d stay here again without a doubt.

We had the very best time in the apartment! Everything was super clean and very well equipped. The pool was particularly convenient in the same building. The location is great – in a few minutes you will be at the lake or at the Schafbergbahn. Ideal if you like to hike or just enjoy nature. Check-in was totally straightforward and the host was super helpful – with lots of great tips for excursions and restaurants around. The view from the balcony to the mountains was also particularly beautiful – simply fantastic. We would come back anytime!

We felt very comfortable, the self-catering in the spacious kitchen-living area was quite possible, with the gastronomic coffee machine (1 coffee €0.5) we made friends. In sunny weather, the dining tables outdoors are very nice (beautiful views, good air, tranquility ...) The children accounts are throughout the yard area and experience direct contact with pets. The sauna at no additional cost was much appreciated after longer hikes to relax. I spent a relaxing time at the Grimmingblick hut with my children, grandchildren and friends.

Very spacious, clean and lovingly furnished apartment with a wonderful terrace. We were very warmly welcomed and immediately felt comfortable.

We stayed at the property for 4 nights. We enjoyed it very much, the apartment is just right in terms of size. The swimming pool was also always a rest after long hiking days. Especially the view from the balcony to Watzmann and Jenner is definitely worth a mention. Depending on where you want to go, the city center was also easily accessible on foot in 10-20 minutes. All other attractions were reachable by car in 5-10 minutes. The building is on a slope, so you have to go up to load by car and park it a little further down. That went smoothly. In short: really recommended!

Gregors place is a wonderful place to stay. It is a working farm so there are horses, chickens, Rabbits etc in the grounds which was lovely to see. The apartment itself was spacious, with 3 bedrooms, a separate toilet, shower room, nice kitchen diner and lovely peaceful veranda where we spent half an hour each day listening to the silence. I would thoroughly recommend Gregor and Elizabeths Airbnb !!!

Katrin's place is great for a getaway. She made us feel right at home quickly and provided lots of recommendations in the area. We will have to visit again as there were so many nice things to do. The house was cosy and the outdoor space was great to relax.
