Great breakfast - everyday a little bit different - particularly fond of the waffle day! :-) Good location, very clean and beautiful room, comfi bed. Very friendly host Laura, she helped us with everything (renting a scooter - getting an early taxi to the airport - recommending good restaurants) Thank you!!

We are consistently satisfied with Maria's hostel (pink room)! Very clean and maintained. The trash cans were emptied and the premises cleaned every day. A very uncomplicated check-in and check-out. Communication was always friendly and helpful. We lacked nothing. Great! Highly recommended! Thank you Maria, we felt very comfortable.

Tania was a great host, always there to help and answer questions. Her hostel is a very nice place, clean and cozy, with a big kitchen that has everything you could ask for. The bathroom was very clean. We were lucky to stay there while there were almost no other guests, so we didn't have to share the room—which had a big balcony with view on Pico mountain by the way. If we come back to São Jorge, we will definitely stay at Marficas Hostel again!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay in this room! The room was clean and spacious. The view was incredible and just as shown from the pictures. We were very easily able to walk to our ocean tours and to the Main Street with restaurants and shops. We loved the island of Teceria!

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very polite and they gave us very good suggestions on what to visit in the island. Also the location of the hostel was very good.

A beautiful and peaceful hostel right in Angra do Heroismo, walking distance from the port and the splendid city center. Our host was simply amazing, helped us in so many ways we will never be thankful enough. Truly recommended!

Our group of eight thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in the penthouse. The large, private deck looks out into the Praia harbor and the pictures just can’t convey how special Terceira is and how great this location is for an Airbnb. Joseph and his wife Mina made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Yes, the price might be high for the island, but the location, spacious rooms and wonderful hosts will have us come back again and again.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The employees were super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast every morning was very convenient, and the location of the hostel is amazing. Everything was very clean, and they even replaced my towels for me part way through my stay.

My experience in this accommodation was really more than positive! I stayed in the mixed dorm and found it very welcoming. The rooms accommodate up to 4 workstations, a perfect number to ensure comfort and tranquility, without being crowded. The property is located in a very central position, a stone's throw from the city's entrance. The basalt roads can be a bit noisy when cars pass, but the well-insulated windows completely solve the problem once closed. The rooms are spotless and tidy, and the common area where breakfast is served is truly delightful — also ideal for working in peace during the day. I had a great time and highly recommend it to those looking for a pleasant, functional and well-located stay. Highly recommended!

I loved the stay at the Boa Nova Hostel. The public spaces were really beautiful and the beds very comfortable with a locker for your stuff. It is directly at the ocean and you can also rent a bike at the hostel! Maria is also a very kind person :) Thank you!
