Truly a magical place to stay in the Azores. Ana’s home is comfortable, clean, great location. There were so many small touches that made this stay unforgettable. Great communication from this host. We loved the pool and hot tub and the sweet dogs who live on the property too!

The property consisted of two separately rented rooms with shared bathroom, living room and kitchen. We were lucky and the other room was not rented during our stay so we had the common areas to ourselves. The kitchen has a large sideboard and plenty of space for cooking. We were able to use the beautiful garden. Gèraldine, the landlady, we saw every now and then and it was a very casual atmosphere. All around we were very satisfied with the equipment and cleanliness. In addition, the place is rather quiet and more local. Beautiful hikes are possible directly from there, otherwise we needed between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours by car to most attractions.

Fátima is charming and we really appreciate her welcoming us into her magnificent house. All in the room was ideal and the breakfast was delicious. He offered us ideas about the places to visit every day and it was perfect. It's a shame that we only had a two-day stay.

A super nice stay 20 minutes by car from Ponta Delgada. It's really worth it. It's perfect for relaxing, the services Eduardo offers, as well as how quickly he answers and the recommendations he gives, make it very worthwhile. 100% recommended

5 stars because 6 won't let me. Alberto is a very attentive and dedicated person. You can tell your place is your life. She does everything with pleasure and enjoys dealing with people. Details of great value like the breakfast that brings every morning. I will always remember my trip to Terceira and of course the place I stayed in. Thank you very much Alberto, I will eternally recommend your home for those who can know that I am going to Terceira.

Tania was a great host, always there to help and answer questions. Her hostel is a very nice place, clean and cozy, with a big kitchen that has everything you could ask for. The bathroom was very clean. We were lucky to stay there while there were almost no other guests, so we didn't have to share the room—which had a big balcony with view on Pico mountain by the way. If we come back to São Jorge, we will definitely stay at Marficas Hostel again!

Wow, David’s place is incredible. The surf camp was a peaceful oasis -very comfortable and beautiful! David and the folks working there are so kind and friendly. Overall, it’s an amazing place, right on a surf break and along lovely hikes. I’d highly recommend to those searching for a laid back, beachfront stay that’s off the beaten path.

We had a great stay, the tropical garden is beautiful and the cats are very friendly!

Great stay! Walking distance to town but very quiet, private, relaxing. Clean and well-stocked, breakfast basket was a nice touch! We would definitely stay here again!

We only had a short 1-night visit at Quinta da Meia Eira. However, quickly felt at home, having been very warmly welcomed by Francisco and his wife, whom have passionately created this special place. We only wished we had more time to spend in the beautiful garden surroundings, thoughtfully curated and cared for by them both. The property is conveniently located near the airport, yet this does not detract from its peacefulness. It was also great to see a wide selection of local produce and honey on offer for breakfast, particularly having bumped into Francisco on bee-keeping duties the day before! It was a real pleasure staying here, exceeding our expectations; we hope to visit again in the future!

This place offers outstanding privacy as a hostel, which I really appreciated. The location is fantastic—close to everything yet quiet. Also provided a generous breakfast, a lovely touch! The bathroom was spacious, and I loved that there were two additional bathrooms on the first floor, making it super convenient. For the price, this stay was absolutely flawless. Highly recommend!

This is an immaculate and beautifully kept home in an easily accessible location. I walked every morning to the great cafe just up the street and if you’re not a walker and don’t have a car, there is a mini bus pick up spot just 1 block down the street that takes you into the town center. Olivia is an incredibly gracious host with thoughtful attention to details for a lovely stay! Muito Obrigada Olivia ♥️

Great stay! The island is beautiful, it's exotic. The place was very clean and smelled very good. It looks freshly renovated to me. Modern with the original charm of the house. A little wet but there is a dehumidifier that helps a lot! I advise to have a car as it is a little far from cities and attractions. The view of the island of São Jorge on one side and the pico volcano on the other side. We felt really on vacation, like in a cottage! I recommend it without hesitating!

What a special place!!!! I have been traveling solo and staying in hostels across the globe for months and this one takes the cake for best hosts, friendly atmosphere and incredible breakfast and family dinners! Stefan, Sophie & Pedro are welcoming and kind and set the tone for an inclusive atmosphere regardless of your age or nationality. Stefan is a talented chef so be sure to stay long enough for a couple family dinners. Sturdy, private and comfortable beds, 3 adorable cats, views of Pico and easy access to the ferry to Failal. Really enjoyed my stay and hope to return again.

The rooms were nice and cozy and the location is awesome! There is a big yard in front of the rooms which creates an extremely relaxing environment. Duarte is an amazing person, one of the best hosts I have ever had! Totally recommended!
