Family-friendly holiday rentals in Avoca Beach

Chantelle’s cottage is such a lovely place to stay! It’s cosy, tranquil and all the little touches make it feel so welcoming and homely. She’s a wonderful host, and our kids especially love feeding the fish and chickens! This was our second visit, and we will be back again soon. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful place to stay and met all our needs. Craig’s house is in the perfect spot for the beach and the other activities we were there for. Craig was so easy to deal with and was so responsive and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a spot in The Entrance

Great location just off the Corso, super accessible to Manly beach and the ferry to Circular Quay. Kirsti was a super host, always accessible and responsive and helpful. Would definitely return, enjoyed my stay. Also loved the A/C, needed in view of the late summer weather.

Had such a wonderful and much needed restorative weekend in this beautiful pocket of the world! Would love to call it home. Perfect way to switch off. Elizabeth was an excellent communicator and provided plenty of information. Nothing was too difficult for Col and he was also able to help us get around and the like. Much appreciated!

Tims place is a little oasis with the peaceful bush backdrop but so walkable to the beach. Very comfortable and great kitchen with great deck and bbq. We used it all- and we look forward to heading back again !

Tracy’s place was beautiful! Tracy was there on arrival to show us around and provide us with a rundown on the space. She kindly left out champagne and snacks. One of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen from the comfort of bed.

I had a great stay at Alex's . Walking distance to my son's which was exactly what I needed. He and his wife were extremely responsive and proactive in checking i had everything I needed. I would happily stay again.Thank you

Our stay could not have been more perfect. The views, fire pit, outdoor spa, outdoor seating, bedroom views, motor bike hire, host friendless, everything we could possibly need, was provided.

Great weekend getaway! A great spot to spend a weekend out of Sydney, amongst the treetops. Lots of lovely little homely quirks. Great kitchen. Lovely balcony. Easy drive to Avoca or Copacabana beaches. Lovely to be able to bring our dog.

Beautiful property. Loved the nest! Lots of lovely walks and different places to unwind on the property itself. Waking up to all the birdsong was glorious. We had a really lovely relaxing stay - thank you very much Christine.

Joe's place was exactly as described - tranquile farm stay with all kinds of wildlife visits! It even had everything for breakfast - bread, eggs, cereals, coffee and fruits! even an avocado!!! we also needed some extra milk and he was able to help with that! thank you Joe - we'll come again!

Our overnight stay at Liz and Larry’s cabin was perfect for our needs with other family members joining us in Patonga for the long weekend to celebrate my 75th birthday. It was ideally located for us all to meet at The Boat House for breakfast and dinner. The creek behind is very pretty and the bush walks very accessible. We really enjoyed our stay

I enjoyed dealing with Kate who deserves her reputation as a super host. She was unlike some other hosts I have dealt with very flexible with check in and check out times. I really hope that I have the opportunity to stay in this lovely property again and wish her all the best

We enjoyed our stay and spending time with family at the beautiful, well appointed Caves Beach House. We enjoyed having breakfast at the deck, looking towards the beach. We also enjoyed walking to Caves restaurant and to Caves Beach from the house. Thank you for hosting us, Sue!

We stayed at this lovely Airbnb for 2 nights to visit family in Avalon. Patti and Maya were highly responsive from the time of booking to the end of the stay. The home was perfect for our party of three and 2 small dogs. It was clean, cosy and everything we needed was available and then some. We had no trouble finding the home, entering it or finding a parking space close to the home on the street. The 2 bedrooms with ensuites was a perfect setup for us as well as the open concept living space. The TV and wifi worked well. We spent a great deal of time in the outdoor living space and even though it rained we still enjoyed it. The neighbourhood is quiet and locals friendly. Close to coffee shops, beaches, restaurants, grocery, pubs and clubs. I have a senior dog that has high anxiety when away from home and he was extremely chilled in this environment. The only negative thing I have to say is that we didn’t stay long enough. 10/10 Highly recommend.

We have stayed with Genie often while visiting family nearby. We enjoying catching the bus at the end of the street and making our way to the station to catch the train to the city. There are parks and walks nearby, and we regularly walk to a cafe in Asquith for coffee. Genie's place is roomy and private, with everything we need for our stay. We particularly appreciate the washing machine and drying space.

Definitely one of the best AirBnB we have stayed at. Judy and Bruce were welcoming, helpful and friendly, even allowing us to check in an hour early (after a very early start for an early flight). Corona cottage is delightful and has everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was rather squeaky, but comfortable according to our adult son who slept on it, and the queen bed was very comfortable. The grounds are perfectly maintained and the pool looked lovely (although we did not get to use it due to rainy weather). A nice touch was the fresh fruit bowl and continental breakfast supplied. Overall, an amazing place for our family to relax and unwind, I highly recommend it if you are visiting the area.

We could not fault our stay ! The apartment was well equipped , clean and in a great location ! Will definitely stay again when we are next in Manly !

We stayed at Daniel and Sasha’s property in Picketts Valley, what a gorgeous home it is. Everything is just like the photos. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here. With a large family catch up, their place had plenty of space and so much to do for the kids. Apart from the kids swimming in the heated pool and feeding the cutest little ponies every day, the bottom level of the house is a kids playroom. With something to do for all ages. The kids were so entertained. We are a family who love to cook, so the kitchen was fabulous. Lots of boards for a grazing table and a glass of wine in the afternoon watching the sunset with beautiful views. We appreciated the attention to detail and the simple things provided by Daniel and Sasha that made our stay really relaxing. We will be booking with them again. Thanks for making our 4 day break so enjoyable!

Gary was a responsive host. The apartment was bigger than it looked in the photos, which was a nice suprise. We are on a four week trip around Eastern Australia, and free use of the washing machine was a great bonus.

Justine was friendly, helpful and promptly responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy and very comfortable, with all the essentials of home. Loved Forresters Beach, a beautiful sanctuary and very picturesque!!
