This house is amazing. Breakfast while overlooking the horse pasture, dinner out on the back deck. Everything in the house was spotless! The shower was so great. It had good water pressure! The beds were so comfy, I got the best sleep here. Better than I've gotten in a long time! The pool was clean. My kids enjoyed it, even though it was chilly out! They also enjoyed the games in the garage. My kids loved the popcorn machine, what a fun touch! The location is perfect. It's out in the country, but close enough to other towns that a run to the store doesn't take all day. It's very close to several Rend Lake Day Use Areas, which makes going out fun and easy! 10/10 Will stay again.

This property exceeds 5 stars without a doubt - our only complaint is that we didn’t plan to stay longer!!! We were stopping through on a 5,000 mile road trip & it was like a spot of sheer relaxation & amazingness with something for everyone. The meticulousness of the property was amazing - from the helpful labels to the abundance of towels (for outside & inside) - this property exceeds allll expectations.

We loved staying here! It was a great way to get together. Wineries were an easy drive and it was a beautiful weekend trip

Four of us stayed in Lisa's place for the weekend and we had more than enough space. The outdoor area was definitely our favorite amenity. Sitting outside anytime of the day with a beautiful view of the bluffs was special. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. It was a wonderful time.

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

It was well worth the $! I had an amaziiiiing weekend! It’s absolutely beautiful- inside and out! The pool was SUCH a good time, I could’ve stayed in it for days! We grilled out and swam, it’s an unbelievably fun & peaceful experience. The host was extremely responsive, helpful and checked in making sure we had everything the whole stay. I would recommend it for sure! If I could give it 6 stars I would! I will definitely be staying here again!!!

Great little place to stay near a wonderful little local restaurant, Crazy Joe’s Fish House. Very serene location. House was super clean.

I went to SIUC many many years ago and never visited Giant City. We came down to visit the campus and Giant City and Theresa’s place allowed us to bring our pet and was a great location. It was clean and nicely decorated at a good price.

Kevin’s place was PERFECT!! Super cozy & CLEAN! Our family loved the peaceful, secluded location. Kevin quickly responded any time I had a question and gave us several good recommendations. Our pups felt right at home too. We look forward to staying here again!

We drove in for a family wedding in Perryville. I didn't want to get multiple hotel rooms so this was perfect for my family. Having two full bathrooms and being able to do laundry was a huge plus. Amy was very accommodating with a special request and the beds were all very comfortable :)

If you are looking for a nice old house in a neat little town this is it. We had our family visit us from the area and it was a perfect place to host from. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking a breeze. Also the host was very responsive to any questions we had about the house and the area. We will definitely stay here again if we will be in the area!

Great location, quiet, great view. Communication and instructions were clear and concise. Easy to work with.

We were in town for a girls get away with some hiking and Twisted Sister was perfect! Such a beautiful setting and so close to the places we wanted to go. It was super easy to get in, very clean, and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves as we prefer to do. We also enjoyed strawberries from Flamm Orchard, and great hikes at nearby Little Grand Canyon and Cove Hollow, plus of course Giant City State Park. Candace was an excellent hostess. She lives next door but gave us complete privacy. And when I had questions or wanted recommendations she was super responsive. It made us feel safe and cared for. It is so nice that she shares her beautiful property with guests in this way. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and we especially liked the large back deck. Seeing the deer and wild turkey's were an added bonus. Definitely would stay here again!

beds are comfy, bathrooms were spacious and clean, cozy home and ample parking

House is very comfortable, clean, and roomy. The outside areas are bigger in person! Lots of bird watching and fun surprise of small lizards while hanging out by the firepit. We did lots of hiking activities nearby, but if you visit during inclement weather, they have lots of games at the house to keep everyone entertained!

This place is such a sweet retreat from busy highways and from the world! Our stay was short as we were en route but it was a wonderful respite and all of our needs were met. We would definitely stay there again!

The home was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and restaurants and main roads were close to the home. Jessica was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again!
