Quite, peaceful apartment on second floor of an 1891 mansion. Great views to the south (trees, hills, 19th-century rooflines). High ceilings, wide-plank wood floors, plaster walls, old windows. Access to main hall of the house, which contains a beautiful staircase and arch. Easy walk to the train station, the American Shakespeare Center, and restaurants and retail along Beverly Street and the Wharf.

Communication with Isabella was a breeze. She was responsive and friendly. Location was good - just a few minutes to JMU, grocery stores, and restaurants. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities - stove, oven, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, and coffee machine. There are also washer and dryer which are able to handle big loads of laundry. The bedrooms are comfortable, as were the beds and pillows. Even though the bathroom is small, the shower water pressure is very good. Isabella and Lorenzo provided us with helpful information and recommendations of where to eat and things to do in the area. Thank you 😊

This was a perfect place to stay while in town for my sister's graduation! 2 min drive to downtown Staunton and grocery store, air conditioned, clean spaces, beautiful, large kitchen. The keypad was incredibly easy to use. For this price, I couldn't have been happier. There were also water bottles and snacks ready as soon as we got there, which was a welcome surprise after driving 8 hours and it being hot in Staunton. We stayed in the second floor apartment, so note that you will have to climb one flight of stairs in order to get to that apartment. Thanks again, Xiaorong!

We are repeat guests at Paula’s and it’s always a great time. Visiting our JMU Duke and staying at the Southern Charm Retreat is always fun, convenient to the campus and relaxing. House is roomy and super clean. The game room is a fun bonus and the back yard deck is beautiful, well maintained and great for entertaining. Thanks as always Paula !

Check in was simple with instructions provided. House was clean, quiet & comfortable, as well as close to everything. We loved the openness of the layout & were surprised at how much space there was. It was nicely stocked with kitchen basics & bedrooms were super comfy.

Loved our stay here. Loved it. The view was incredible! The home was clean and cozy. It will be one of my favorite stays that Ive had. And Frost and Fire across the street had the most amazing pizza and pastries, as an added bonus.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The photos and descriptions are accurate. Accommodations were superb for hosting our large family. Amenities were also great (ex., fire pit). A bit remote, though we would definitely stay here again if the opportunity comes up.

This place is great! Set up on a hill with a nice mountain and vineyard view. It was easy to find, clean as could be, and within 10 minutes of more wineries and breweries than you could count. Highly recommend!

What a perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Staunton is beautiful and this home is the perfect location to walk anywhere. We walked downtown every day, just a quick drive or walk to Montgomery Hill Park, a walk to the baseball stadium, and a quick drive to tons of hiking! The house was clean, had everything we needed, and they even set up dog bowls for our pup. We especially loved hanging out on the front porch. Will definitely be back!

The house is wonderful, plenty of storage, but would be helpful if kitchen supplies were labeled. Not sure if customary, but dishes were still in washer.

A lovely retreat for our family and two dogs. Very clean and well-appointed with anything we could need. Lots of places inside and outside to read and relax or converse. Comfortable and homey. Hot tub and fire pit were wonderful in the evenings. Owners were super responsive and helpful. Centrally located with easy access to Waynesboro, Staunton, and Harrisonburg. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit the Valley.

We we're in town to visit our grandmother so we didn't spend a whole lot of time at the house but it worked perfectly for what we needed it for!

Lovely place, very clean, stylishly decorated. It is roomy and has a fantastic view. Nice outdoor sitting areas. It is secluded. The only problem my family and I ran into was knowing what driveway to turn in. We failed to see a sign that displayed a house number at the end of the driveway. Other than that the house and our stay was outstanding.

I rented it for someone else but heard positive feedback from them. Thanks, Sheila and Shelby! It’s good to have his option close by for this conference.

I just enjoyed the most wonderful birthday weekend stay at this amazing home! The views were as incredible or even more so than in the photos. Wendy was very responsive to any messages and even sent someone to the house within 30 minutes to address a simple issue. The hot tub made for a perfect spot to relax, as did the partially covered deck, with sweeping views and tons of songbirds to brighten the day. Truly a magical weekend escape! I would definitely come back again.

My friends stayed here through from the 14th to the 16th of June for a bachelor party. When we first walked in, we were so excited to see that the condo lined up to our expectations and even went on to exceed them. Even in the summertime, Wintergreen and the surrounding areas offered much to do recreationally. Keith's wonderful condo acted as a terrific focal hub for us on our excursions down the mountain. Keith was so helpful and responsive throughout our entire stay, and was quite flexible on accommodating an early check-in after our earlier camping experience ended up with us sleeping in my car from rain. He also answered each one of my questions and was extremely knowledgeable as to the community policies, especially when it came to parking. The check-out instructions were easy to follow and very accommodating of our time. We had an extremely wonderful stay at their condo, and I am even considering re-booking it for myself later on in the year! You truly won't find better hosts.

Laleh is a great and perfect host. I have stayed with her numerous times and I have enjoyed her space, her continued communication and her quickness to address any number of questions. Enjoy your stay with her.

Joy's condo in Bridgewater was very pretty, spacious, comfortable and clean. My traveling companions and I thoroughly enjoyed using it as a home base for our activities. It had everything we needed to feel at home. The neighborhood that it was in was very quiet and easy to get in and out of. I would definitely recommend it as a wonderful place to stay when vacationing in that area of Virginia. Susan

Amanda's condo was clean and cozy. There are many nice upgrades in the space, including an updated kitchen, master bath, and modern furniture. We could easily find what we needed. We felt right at home and would love to stay here again!

My wife and I really enjoyed a weekend getaway at Mikki’s place. The condo has a great location with beautiful views and access to nearby Wintergreen amenities, and we took advantage of the less than 20 minute drive to multiple of the Nelson 151 breweries. Mikki is very responsive and we appreciated her recommendations and help in getting us get access to a nearby pool. Would stay again!

This was a beautiful, clean, home with a relaxed feel. The beds were comfortable, the views so peaceful and the kitchen had any tool you might need to make a good meal. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful condo and nice location in Wintergreen. We had everything we needed. Comfy bed and loved the large windows. So much to do in the area. It’s on third floor, so quite a bit of stairs. Would recommend for a wonderful getaway to the Valley.
