Let’s begin by saying that the views alone are worth the price of admission, before you even start looking around inside. The amenities are plentiful, the beds are comfortable, 2 of the 3 showers are accessible for elderly, and it was clean and tidy. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back during off-season to enjoy this space on the mountain!!

It was an amazing stay for our family at Slopeside Serenity this past weekend! The place was immaculate/completely renovated and it felt like home when we entered! The beds were super comfy and all the products (i.e. linens, towels, paper towel, and even TP) were upgraded items that went a long way in my book! The view was spectacular and the set up of the place was comfortable and spacious. The upstairs bonus room (king bed, separate bathroom, tv, seating area, and beautiful overlook spot) was a wonderful get-a-way spot that was very inviting and allowed for some alone time. The kitchen was well-stocked and very usable and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch that overlooked the slopes while sipping our morning coffee. All in all - it was a wonderful escape to the quiet Wintergreen resort. Our family will definitely stay here again if we end up back in this area!

Communication with Isabella was a breeze. She was responsive and friendly. Location was good - just a few minutes to JMU, grocery stores, and restaurants. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities - stove, oven, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, and coffee machine. There are also washer and dryer which are able to handle big loads of laundry. The bedrooms are comfortable, as were the beds and pillows. Even though the bathroom is small, the shower water pressure is very good. Isabella and Lorenzo provided us with helpful information and recommendations of where to eat and things to do in the area. Thank you 😊

We are repeat guests at Paula’s and it’s always a great time. Visiting our JMU Duke and staying at the Southern Charm Retreat is always fun, convenient to the campus and relaxing. House is roomy and super clean. The game room is a fun bonus and the back yard deck is beautiful, well maintained and great for entertaining. Thanks as always Paula !

Came for an agility dog show and this place was perfect. Everything I needed. Quiet, beautiful area and will be back next year.

Great suite walking distance or very short drive to downtown - would stay again for a future weekend visit

Helen’s place was perfect for our family with 3 small kids! The play area was a lifesaver after being stuck in the car for hours. Very kid friendly and felt right at home. We plan on staying here again when we take our next trip to see family!

My wife and I wanted a night away from the kids, frankly, to hang out and do nothing. The Storefront turned out to be the perfect set-up to do just that. Clean and cozy, we loved this place. Dinner, dessert, coffee, and breakfast at the doorstep—less time driving around trying to find stuff, more time binging a Netflix show in the bar area. Awesome!

We absolutely loved Martha’s place! Great location, especially being so close to everything. Bed is super comfortable! The best part is how clean the apartment is, it is the cleanest air b&b we have stayed in! Martha has everything you need for your stay, including breakfast! Highly recommend!

Check in was simple with instructions provided. House was clean, quiet & comfortable, as well as close to everything. We loved the openness of the layout & were surprised at how much space there was. It was nicely stocked with kitchen basics & bedrooms were super comfy.

Great getaway! Peaceful neighborhood literally a 5 minute walk through a park and over the historic railroad bridge to the shops and restaurants in downtown Staunton. Kitchen was well stocked and the place is decorated with cleaver and eclectic decor. Beautiful historic building with updated/newly renovated interior amenities. Shea was helpful, very accommodating and responsive. Can’t say enough about how nice our stay was - and we’ll definitely be back! Oh yeah - hiking in the mountains was one of our reasons for coming to the area - and the entrance to Skyline Drive is like 15 minutes away. It was the perfect spot for our birthday get away!

Jeffery's condo was perfect for our family's short trip to Wintergreen. The interior setup was comfortable and the location was right off the slopes with great views. The weather was excellent and we wished we had the time to stay longer. We will definitely try to book another stay here next year. Thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful place for our trip!

This is a great spot if you're looking for a no-frills base camp. There is so much to do in this area and we were out and about all day, everyday, so the condo was a great place to crash each evening. It's basic but has everything you need in the kitchen, is clean and the beds are comfy. Robert communicates well.

It was really great for our family to get away for a few days over Thanksgiving! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the suite was cozy. Overall we enjoyed the flexibility of having a few different rooms, being able to cook (as much as we needed/wanted to), and the fact that the earth room doesn't have windows allowed us to sleep in late. As far as amenities, the tub pretty amazing. I also really enjoyed peeking at some of the crafting books on the bookshelves - the cowgirl room in particular has a workshop feel that I enjoyed! Really grateful we were able to go on this trip - thank you!

We loved our stay at this condo in Wintergreen. The condo was beautifully furnished. Very clean. And the views from the balcony are unbelievable. Since it was spring, it was very quiet which we enjoyed. The mountains were so lush and green. The host responded to any questions within minutes. Check out was a breeze. We will be booking again!

Ellen’s apartment is a fantastic place to stay for a visit to Staunton. Be aware there are 52 stairs (per Ellen herself) to get up to the apartment, but there was an elevator to help with luggage for the first two floors. It kept us in shape after all the eating we did, but may be a consideration for folks with more limited mobility. The apartment is spacious with lovely decor and great views, even from the (huge) bathroom. The outdoor deck shouldn’t be missed.

Easy to find location using the directions provided. Self check-in lock easy to operate. Nice and clean location with rocking chairs outside you can sit and look at the amazing views.
