Cabin holiday rentals in Augusta County

Was a great sleepover for us. Near Harrionsburg with plenty of things to do. Hosts were great and even helped when asked. Clean and Comfy.

The cabin is nestled back off the road, in the woods. You can hear water rushing in a stream as soon as you step out of the car. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, we felt immediately at peace. The cabin is adorable, very clean and filled with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were super comfortable, the linens very soft and lovely. We highly recommend this wonderful cabin as a quiet getaway, would love to rent again!

We loved this cabin! The decor was cute and rustic! The kids referred to it as the “Cracker Barrel Cabin!”The view from the back deck was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed evenings in the hot tub after hiking. The wintergreen location is perfect. Just a short drive away from breweries, hiking and good restaurants! We would definitely stay here again!!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. Cozy, secluded, peaceful. It's also right on the Nelson 151, which is a road dotted with wineries and craft breweries. There was a new one to go to everyday! Back at the hooch, we enjoyed cooking, sitting on the porch, and relaxing in the hottub while listening to the nearby waterfall. Katie is a very responsive host and kept us informed with everything going on. We knew it was a couples' place right when we walked in. Cheers!

The house was perfect for our group of three families; it was beautifully laid out and we enjoyed the spaces throughout. The game room was fun for both the kids and adults, and the kitchen is well stocked which was really important for our group. Mike was a pleasure to interact with and very helpful. We only stayed for two nights but all wished we had one more night!

Great find for our last minute mountain get away. Everything was comfortable and as described. View at breakfast should not be missed!

We had an amazing one night stay here! Very relaxing and clean, comfy bed! The walking trails and surrounding areas were beautiful with mountain views. Will be back!

This house is beautiful! We celebrated my sisters bachelorette weekend here and it was the perfect place. We made homemade pizzas in the amazing kitchen, took advantage of the hot tub, and crashed out in the super comfy beds. It was not too far from the wineries we visited too. It felt like the most special weekend escape. I would love to come back. Thanks for helping us celebrate!

Had a wonderful week long stay. In a long drive that is fairly private and secluded. Wake up to sounds of nature on the front porch. Tina sent an amazing list of details before our stay that gave us directions for our stay. Water had a slight odor, but got used to it in a few days. They also provided plenty of clean drinking water. Popcorn on the counter was a great touch for a late night snack!

Thank you Deb for a wonderful mountain getaway! This cabin has all that we needed for a great weekend. We loved hiking to the fire tower and trout fishing in Monterey at the pond. Thanks again for the great hospitality!

Michael's mountainside cabin was very nice and the views were great. The cabin sits atop a mountain and is very private and peaceful. The cabin was fully stocked and all amenities were provided. It was pleasant sitting on the large front porch on the morning enjoying our breakfast looking at the mountains and watching the deer walk through the yard. The fire pit at night was very nice and relaxing and all the firewood was provided. The internet was fast and there was plenty of TV options available if you want to watch TV. There are plenty of wineries that offer tastings within 15-20 minutes of the cabin which were very good. There is a cool pizza place, Dr. Ho's Humble Pie, in the town of North Garden, about 30 minutes away. The 'main' road leading to the cabin driveway is a gravel road and the driveway up to the cabin is a steep, winding gravel stone road and you may need an SUV or truck to access the last 100 yards to the cabin. I would recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

The wood stove is a lot of fun, and the porch is so tranquil in the evenings. A wonderful summertime retreat to explore the valley and enjoy nature!

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. My husband took our kids (ages 10 and 7) fishing on the property, which they absolutely loved. We spent time swimming in the pool and hiking the beautiful surroundings. We also visited the nearby Virginia Safari Park and Natural Bridge Park—both were wonderful day trips. The host was fantastic, and the property was peaceful and relaxing. We’d love to come back!

We had a great stay! My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to the mountains with our boys on our way back from visiting family and found Andrew’s place. It was perfect for us! The house was well stocked, matched the pictures perfectly, and was very comfortable. We can’t wait to visit again!

Vern and Mary Jane’s home is one of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever stayed at! Very clear instructions on how to find the place — we had a lot of fun hiking in the nearby area and using the host’s kayaks! Vern and Mary Jane were extremely responsive and friendly when we had questions, 10/10 recommend choosing this location for your next family vacation!

Perfect spot for our winter ski vacation! Cozy cabin with that rustic feel you’re looking for in the winter. High ceiling and fireplace, great sunrise view. Felt right at home and didn’t want to leave. Close to the slopes, short drive. It snowed while we were there and we enjoyed being cozy by the fire. It had all the little extras you don’t think of or want to pack that many Airbnbs don’t have like bandaids and spices. Highly recommend

Large home, perfect floor plan for our group of 4 adults and two children. The home was only a 2-mile Drive to the Wintergreen Resort. We were able to spend all day skiing and then heading home was a short 5-minute drive to a relaxing evening at the house. The dining choices were limited, we ate most meals at the resort which had three or four different restaurants. The home is well kept and had all the amenities we needed.

We had a great stay! This place had everything we needed in a great location.

This cabin is great and the area is beautiful , plenty of beds and bathrooms. We were 7 but easily the house can host 12+ comfortably. We were a 5 minutes drive to the slopes and tubing area. The pool is also a short drive as are the ‘inside the resort area’ restaurant. Indoor and outdoor spaces were great and very comfortable. Linens and towels are of very good quality and Tuul was very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful house that is even larger and specious in person than on the photos. We had two separate families with 6 kids between us with tons of room. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil you could need. The TV had access to Netflix, Peacock, Hulu and Disney, which was a special treat for the kids. The house is only a 5 minute drive from the Mountain Inn at Wintergreen. The house has huge windows with beautiful sunrises and a view of the slopes. The driveway has lots of parking, but it is very steep. It snowed just before we arrived and it requires 4 wheel drive just FYI for anyone traveling! Overall it was an amazing stay and we can’t wait until we can come again.

Our stay was just what was needed to relax and unwind. We were comfortable and the accommodations were as listed. From check in to check out we had awesome stay. Keep in mind that you are in the mountains and bring bug spray. Ben is a great host and really responsive.

Cozy cabin located a short drive from downtown Harrisonburg and JMU. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Brads place was wonderful. Everything you could need was there. The house was quite and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Would recommend brads place to anyone.
