Angel’s Rest

JacquelineRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We only stayed two nights but it couldn't have been more perfect for our short time there. Private, cozy, everything needed, super comfy beds and nothing else needed. The snacks/breakfast treats were even an added bonus. It was perfect for our family of 3, super close to where we needed to be and felt so at home. We found our spot if we ever need to go back to the area - this will be the one place we look. Thank you again!!

Truly one of the best AirBnBs I have ever stayed. Delightfully charming, and so very comfortable. Beth was a fabulous host, generous and caring, making sure I had anything I needed including great local recommendations and answering all my questions. The garden is beautiful and expansive, a joy to wander through. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cheerful Sunny Vistas Extended stay comfort.

DeborahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Ab-so-lutely a pleasure to stay with Ernie! Gorgeous antiques, art, lamps, drapes and rugs plus superb quality linens. His place was immaculate. So very pleasant, including a deep claw-foot tub, a patio with soft night-time lighting, a mid-sized, new and spotless refrigerator in the room, plus a coffee set-up with excellent freshly ground java and artisan-crafted ceramics. Ernie even had a plate of homemade gluten-free apple crumble waiting in the fridge to welcome me as a late arrival, plus bottled water and seltzer. I felt immediately comfortable and so fortunate to have chosen--and been accepted--to stay here. Excellent seasonal bonus to find that Ernie's street boasts the best Halloween and autumnal house decorations I've ever seen. Truly over the top. All of this made my trip extra special, as did Ernie's restaurant recommendations. I may even plan another trip back to the area, for the pleasure of staying in this charming home. Yes, Ernie is indeed a SUPER HOST!

Mary’s home is such a warm and welcoming place to relax. I immediately felt like I could melt. There was plenty of firewood and a beautiful little creek running through the property. I would definitely recommend.

Rooftop views and comfort welcomes travelers

LouisRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This space was as it appears on the pics and had a lot more things to do. The surrounding is beautiful and great for hiking. I loved every bit of it, from the beautiful dog to the nice chickens. This space has a lot to do and the host was good to me. Will definitely book again when I’m back that area. I recommend it.

Osceola Mill: The Hiker's Hideaway

LindsayRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had such a wonderful time at Linda’s beautiful bnb! We only stayed for one night as a stop-over on a longer road trip, but we felt so welcomed- Linda’s hospitality was exceptional, and so was the space. We enjoyed hanging out in the historic parlor playing board games by the old mill stone. Breakfast and the snacks on offer were a welcome surprise. The room was just as described, and very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend and hope to be back!

The Buckhorn - Historic Inn in the National Forest

ToddRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved our stay at Buckhorn. Everything we need was provided. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. We enjoyed peace and quiet even though there we others in the inn. The morning was slow, coffee excellent, and had a very pleasant breakfast in bed.

The Red Room at Heritage Hill Bed & Breakfast

What a dream of a place this is, we wish we were staying a week instead of a day. The breakfast was warming and delicious. I cannot explain the decor and setup , except to say- the room was like it came from HGTV and the whole place had all the bells and whistles

Lodge Room on Penmerryl Farm

TiffanyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
What a fun stay! We got to witness the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen here. The animals on the farm are so friendly. I was able to take my dog for the stay and he met bigger animals for the first time and they became friends instantly. I loved what they have done with opening up the family farm to enjoy. It was very personable and they made us feel like family. The homemade country breakfast was also one of my favorites. We were visiting the area hiking and decided to stay since it was a few hours away and I am glad we were able to stay here. Although our visit was short, it was sweet. Thank you for welcoming my family.. beautiful stay.

George Washington Swoope, Jr. - Inn at MeadowCroft

HeatherRating, 5 stars36 months ago
This truly was such a delightful experience. The pictures do not do the location justice. The area is secluded and peaceful, yet all things needed were up to date, clean, and available. Everyone involved was welcoming and friendly and made you feel like you were an old friend. Breakfast was farm fresh egg casserole, bacon, and toast with lots of local jelly, jam, and apple butter selections. We made a day trip of local cideries, and a trip to the bread barn which we highly recommend on a Saturday bread day! We left refreshed and already have plans to return in the future. We highly recommend this location!!!
