What an amazing place! Well worth the journey in, the Isle of Gometra is a beautiful corner of the world, we feel so lucky to have experienced it thanks to Roc and Rhoda's lovely bothy.

A great place to stay. We felt very welcome from the time we arrived. Billy had many recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We had everything we needed for a comfortable place to stay. Would recommend a visit.

Great location! What a view, was very fun having the horse and lil pony friend hanging around, good company! The place was well equipt for all cooking and very easy to be in! Would recomend to anyone! Also a great location for lots of day trips!

Visiting to take part in the Isle of Mull Sportive, the Cabin was perfectly located and provided everything we needed for our stay - tranquil setting, good warm and cosy space, well-equipped kitchen, space for our bikes, bathroom that gave us the option of a long soak in the bath if needed after our ride (we didn't but the water was really nice and hot for our showers). Eugenie sent a very informative and helpful welcome pack ahead of our stay providing clear directions and lots of great recommendations - we couldn't get in to eat at Croft 3 but we did drop in for coffee and cake and would thoroughly recommend. Thanks to Tomo, Eugenie's partner, for the encouragement to eat at Am Birlinn on our last evening - lovely space and staff and the food was delicious! More thanks to Tomo - for equipping us with hose, bucket, joinery advice and his patience! :D

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

We were impressed by the photos on the website but the cottage was even more impressive than the pictures suggested. A spotlessly clean cottage, warm and welcoming, with lots of spaces to relax from the comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge, dining kitchen, cosy nook, and porch area at the back of the property. The garden was magical too, and I found myself drawn to wander around it, seeing something new each time. We were VERY lucky with the weather & the lower patio area was a fabulous suntrap! We have a friend who lives on Bute and when we come back we will definitely look to book Hawthorn Cottage. Thank you Rosemary, we had a wonderful stay.

Our second time visiting Gigha & staying at Ceol Mara. The house is in an excellent location and has everything you need. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon.

What a wonderful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ederline Farm. The cottage and surroundings were beautiful. A real home away from home feel. Willa was a wonderful host and the kayaking on the Loch was one of our favourite activities to do. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful holiday, we are already looking to plan a return visit!

Loved this spot! Only stayed one night but if we come back, we would stay here again for our whole trip in Oban. Lorraine was accommodating and quick to respond. The place was immaculate, very cute, and had everything you could need for a great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Katrina’s, what a wonderful location! Very comfortable apartment, had everything that we needed. Katrina met us and showed us around and shared some wonderful tips for finding the best beaches, restaurants, spotting the seals and pirates!

Booked property for a colleague who has stayed here before. Would recommend.

I absolutely loved my day at Simon's place. The location is stunning, especially with the bay windows looking out to the sea. The little café down the road was wonderful and it was so nice arriving to some local coffee and a packet of shortbread! Simon was very helpful and accommodating, especially when my husband and child decided to join me for the end of my trip. He happily provided more linens, and even let me charge my electric car using his port. He also offered use of his BBQ and left us coals to use while he was away. You couldn't ask for more! The location was perfect for a relaxing day, and lots of beautiful walks. I also managed to get a bit of work done too! I will certainly be booking again, Both for myself and for some family.

Great place to stay, super big and within walking distance to river. Charlotte stayed nearby and was available when we needed help. There is a convenience stall and pub nearby. Nicely designed and well equipped place, just thicker walls would be awesome!

Wir wurden von Janet sehr herzlich begrüßt. Sie zeigte uns die Wohnung und hatte und auf Ausflugsziele hingewiesen. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, uns hat nichts gefehlt. Über das frisch von ihr gebackene, sehr lecker Brot, Marmelade, Milch und Schokolade haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Leider waren wir nur drei Nächte dort. Ich hätte stundenlang aus dem Fenster schauen und das Wetter beobachten können. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder mieten.

We loved our stay at Cobbler View. The setting was beautiful and such a lovely place to come back to after a day exploring. The accommodation was clean and cosy and very well equipped. Carol and Don were excellent hosts and welcomed us on arrival but left us to enjoy our stay. We knew they were available if we needed them. Thank you!

Had a fantastic stay. The view from the apartment has got to be seen to fully appreciate it. Could have sat at the bay window all day and night. Lovely big bedrooms and living room. First time in Oban and will definitely be back to stay in James’s apartment.

Jill is a wonderful host. Such a lovely place and we felt very welcomed and cared for. Woodside is a very interesting house to stay in. The views are amazing and the house is spacious and very well equipped. Jill is very thoughtful host who goes the extra mile in providing really nice snacks. Cove is a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. We really didn’t want to leave! Thanks so much Jill!

Lovely compact flat which had everything you need for the perfect stay. Shereen was very helpful when we asked any questions and checked up on us as we were there for 4 weeks to make sure everything was going well. We very much appreciated that. There’s lots to do in Tarbert and we were minutes away from good eateries. Would definitely recommend this property for a couple who want to be in the heart of the village

Great place to stay for exploring the more rural parts of Scotland. Beautiful, unspoiled countryside. the rain we had just enhanced the beauty of the mountains and rivers. The flat had amazing views from the window. it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We would certainly recommend it to friends.

We really loved our stay here. The views are first class and it's a very short walk to the action in the village. John, the host, answered any queries we had very promptly and in a friendly manner. The flat is modern and cosy and having two shower rooms was great and check-in and out was a breeze. If I had one niggle, the flat could do with a cafetiere to make coffee but, that's really digging deep for faults. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. Excellent value too.

Was here for a couple of nights on our way home from Skye during a period when the weather was perfect. The flat is lovely and is on the top floor of the building opposite the castle. The location is beautiful and Lochgoilhead and the Goil Inn are not too far away. Need to book ahead though if you want to eat at the Goil Inn, which we did on both nights - others coming in after us were turned away though. The Boatshed, which opens at 10am, was great for breakfast.
