VERY BASIC REMOTE BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT LUXURIOUS bothy in an idyllic situation 5 mins walk from sea. Bring own bedding and cooking stove. Basic pots crockery cutlery etc provided. Indoor toilet, indoor bath heated by solid fuel stove. Wood can be bought for £13 a bucket and will be left for you to use if you want. Suits kayakers, experienced hillwalkers and island baggers. Please see reviews for more feedback. No Ulva ferry on Saturday, and on Sunday only in June, July & August.

The view from the front garden is just beautiful. The house was lovely, clean, very well equipped, very comfortable. Plenty of cooking utensils and felt confident in cooking , preparing meals etc. Private parking for at least 2 cars. Enclosed front garden for children and pets. Two bathrooms/ toilets, very handy. Downstairs shower is particularly lush!

We spent a relaxing few days at this cosy cottage in a unique setting, just a short distance by foot to stunning beaches. We enjoyed local walks from the cottage and our trip to the Isle of Mull from Kilchoan (20 minutes drive) via the ferry to Tobermory.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cnoc Fuar as our first trip away with our baby daughter and our dog. The place was exactly as described, really peaceful with beautiful views and a short drive to Tobermory. It was a great base for us for everything we wanted to do. My husband climbed Ben More and we did a day trip to Iona. It was really useful having a hairdryer available and laundry and dishwasher pods. Only thing we struggled with was lack of space in the bin. It would have been good to have a recycling bin outside so we could sort our rubbish before we left. Also a huge plus was the gorgeous wood burning stove which we absolutely loved. And the shower was great and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

We were met by Andy who was really friendly and gave us lots of local information. The accommodation is basic but has everything you need. We were there for the kayaking and scenery which absolutely did not disappoint. The only minor (and I mean minor) issue was lack of blinds on the Velux windows in the bedrooms so take eye masks for sleeping especially in the summer months when the sun doesn’t set until very late and is up in the early hours. We will definitely be back.

Both hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s a shame we didn’t stay longer. We’ll definitely be returning in the future.

Lesley hat uns persönlich begrüßt und meinen Eindruck einer sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgeberin mehr als bestätigt. Das Cottage liegt sehr ruhig mit Blick auf Loch Shiel in einem ruhigen Dorf, in dem ein kleiner Laden für die wichtigsten Dinge vorhanden ist. Von dort aus haben wir tolle Ausflüge unternehmen können mit dem Auto. Vor Ort kann man ebenfalls schön spazieren gehen, auch mit Hunden. Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr hell und gemütlich, nach der Ankunft haben wir uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, auch eine Waschmaschine mit Trocknerfunktion. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und Lesley hat uns sogar Eier von den eigenen Hühnern (die hinter dem Haus leben) und Milch als Willkommensgeschenk da gelassen. Auch die Couch und die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Dusche hat einen sehr guten Wasserdruck. Alles in allem eine sehr tolle Unterkunft, die ich auch mit Hunden nur empfehlen kann. Lesley ist eine wirklich tolle Host!

We stayed at Susan's "Tioram" cottage, which was beautiful. It was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed, with everything we could possibly need. Garmoran Square is situated in a very peaceful and attractive area.
