My family and I spent a few great days here in June 2025. We had an unforgettable time in this beautiful house! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The house itself is simply a dream – large, super modern and equipped with everything you could wish for. We really lacked nothing. The outdoor area is also a real highlight: The pool was wonderfully refreshing, the seating outside very cozy, and the barbecue was perfect for our evenings together. We would like to highlight the great communication with Ezabele and the other hosts. So friendly, warm and helpful - you really noticed how important our well-being was to them. If we had any questions or concerns, they were immediately available, and we felt well taken care of throughout. We will most likely come back - everything was just right. Thank you for this wonderful time! ☀️🏡

Mrs. Maria and her husband welcomed us with great affection and with some cheeses, biscuits and very good quality wine. The house corresponded exactly to the description of the photos, and provides, by its location, the desired peace and rest. We will return, for sure.

Mário and Judite were amazing hosts! Really responsive and friendly and provided great recommendations and really easy face to face check in and out! The space was pristine and everything was thought of. Everything in the space was of great quality from the appliances to the linens. The pool area is lovely and gardens well kept, the fire pits and bbq are ready to use straight away too! I would 100% recommend this to anyone. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay with everything we could have needed :)

We had a wonderful stay! The house is even more beautiful than in the photos – a cozy, well-kept space full of details that make a difference. When we arrived, we were greeted with a still-warm homemade bread, a super thoughtful gesture that immediately set the tone for the rest of the stay. Carina and Filipe were super helpful and concerned about making sure everything was going well, which made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Maria and her husband were incredibly kind to me and my family / friends. We came from all over with young children and everyone had the most amazing time, food, hospitality, wine, good vibes all round. Maria kindly let us stay an extra night, and graciously bought us lots of wine and extras. I had a long lovely chat with Maria and we spoke about the world and life. A great, quiet location equipped with all comforts. We got very regular vegetables from our own garden and wine. Our privacy was greatly respected.

We are delighted with both the cottage and the owner of the property. Located in the atmospheric historic countryside, the host is very friendly, helpful and available throughout the day. The cottage is well-maintained, clean, and very nicely decorated, and equipped with all the necessary accessories . After a day of sightseeing in the evening, you can have a nice time in the shaded garden, full of greenery, and cool off in the pool. Next to the plot there are old granaries and a tap where you can pour springy mountain water. The photos posted on the site don't fully reflect the appeal of this property. The only problem is getting to the cottage. Very narrow and steep streets make a bit of a hassle. However, if you don't feel comfortable driving in a shrine village, you can leave your car at the bottom of the village and walk uphill on your feet in 2 minutes. We recommend this place wholeheartedly

We had a great stay, the accommodation offered was totally in line with what we had seen in the photos, very clean with good quality furniture, very quiet. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and the garden superb (congratulations to the owners for the maintenance!). André and his wife are very pleasant and full of attention (for example we received mint and lemons from their garden). Although the house is inhabited by the owners, the private garden of the accommodation and its separate entrance give a real feeling of privacy. Access to the pool is very appreciable when it is hot. Although the accommodation is a little far from the shops (only a bakery and pharmacy nearby), this is largely offset by a very quiet and relaxing environment for a vacation! We'll definitely be back on an upcoming trip to the area. Thank you André for your welcome and see you soon!

I’m in a new country and do not speak the language. Maria answered immediately and assisted in my language barrier. The location was beautiful, quiet and cozy! When I wanted to reserve another night, she was quick to approve and made me feel welcome and safe. Beautiful amenities! The outside area was thoughtfully landscaped. Highly recommend! ♥️

We enjoyed our stay at Maria’s place. It comes with a garden and BBQ area to share and a pool to dip in. The location was great to get around the national park in both directions. We would definitely stay here again.
