Mrs. Maria and her husband welcomed us with great affection and with some cheeses, biscuits and very good quality wine. The house corresponded exactly to the description of the photos, and provides, by its location, the desired peace and rest. We will return, for sure.

The area is quite quiet, and the house is great for families looking for a getaway outside the confusion of the city. Fully equipped kitchen and toilets. The road to the property is a bit tight, but it compensates for the comfort, tranquility and feeling of home away from home. In hot days there is a small tank for a quick dip. Mr. Manuel received us very kindly and was always available if we had any questions and need for communication. If you have a large family or group of friends in search of tranquility in Arcos de Valdevez, consider this property.

The stay was short but it was worth it and we will repeat. Price ratio /adequate quality, José answered questions quickly when necessary and was also flexible, leaving us at ease. Perfect for relaxing a few days

The space visited is truly welcoming, offering what is strictly necessary for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The simplicity of the place and the houses does not compromise the quality of the experience, providing an environment where you feel at home. One of the most notable points is the complete isolation of the site. This feature guarantees an atmosphere of tranquility, ideal for those looking for a refuge away from the noise and hustle and bustle of urban life. Peace and silence are predominant, excellent for walking tours, reading, photographs, etc. In addition, we had the opportunity to interact with the very friendly and kind locals allowing us to participate with the children in their tasks with the animals. In short, this space is an excellent choice for those looking for a simple but welcoming environment. We were two families and we used both houses, an ideal situation because the common spaces are to share. Thanks ! Silvia.

The property was well equipped and nicely set out, plenty of space. Two double bedrooms, beds very comfortable. Bathroom was compact, lovely shower with plenty of hot water and fittings were top notch. Kitchen area had everything you needed. Beautiful views outside the rear of the property. We would definitely recommend Joana’s house.

Amazing stay in Gerês! The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and super comfortable. We loved the hot tub, BBQ, fireplace, and the breathtaking views. Everything was clean, cozy, and peaceful. The host was friendly and responsive.

Ana is an excellent host, she welcomed us with great kindness and made us feel at home. The house is very good, fantastic space, you feel it has history, ideal to spend a few days with the family, with very diverse places to visit nearby, especially for those who like nature. We liked it a lot

A beautiful place with beautiful views, the house is quite acceptable in size and has a barbecue that works great I recommend it if you are looking for a rural stay outside the stress of the city and disconnect.

Highly recommended, owner always available for any problem. House found in excellent condition, although we were unlucky with the weather we spent a lot of time inside using the fireplace without problems :)

we had a great stay. the apartment was clean, comfortable and well equiped. we had some trouble with the air conditioning and Alexander was very responsive and sent someone to fix it. when he found out it would take more time to fix, he sent us 2 heaters so that we would not be cold. we recommend staying here.

We had a great stay, the accommodation offered was totally in line with what we had seen in the photos, very clean with good quality furniture, very quiet. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and the garden superb (congratulations to the owners for the maintenance!). André and his wife are very pleasant and full of attention (for example we received mint and lemons from their garden). Although the house is inhabited by the owners, the private garden of the accommodation and its separate entrance give a real feeling of privacy. Access to the pool is very appreciable when it is hot. Although the accommodation is a little far from the shops (only a bakery and pharmacy nearby), this is largely offset by a very quiet and relaxing environment for a vacation! We enjoyed our stay at Maria’s place. It comes with a garden and BBQ area to share and a pool to dip in. The location was great to get around the national park in both directions. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment had everything we needed and more! We could want for nothing! Beautiful town and quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend if you are headed to northern Portugal.
