Once used for horse carriages, I converted this into a fully self-contained tiny house/guest suite. (It has a kitchenette; however it is not suitable for large scale, full course cooking.) Spectacular views of North mountain, nestled in the famed fertile Annapolis Valley. Peach tree growing region. Railway turned nature trail practically across the street, perfect for cycling into town.

The Beach House

No cleaning fees. The Beach House is less than 15 min. from Digby & The Pines Golf Course. It is the perfect base for your whale watching trip, exploring Annapolis, Kejimkujik, Bear River or Digby Neck, but make sure you leave time to relax on the deck. Watch the fishing boats come and go, you may even see whales. Comb our rocky, cobblestone shoreline for sea glass or that special rock. Swim our cold, clear water if you dare! Digby is a fishing port so there is always lots to see there too.

Pets welcome, but Not on the furniture unless you’ve brought a cover. Never leave pets unattended. No running water. Outhouse/toilet facility. Bring your own disposable propane tank if BBQ’ing.

Perched high on an ocean hillside, built on 30 ft tall steel legs, the cozy quarters above are akin to an old ship’s cabin. With 360 views at 30ft up you can chart the sun and stars across the sky, set your rhythm to the ebb & flow of the tide and scout the surf from above. Greet the evenings with a cozy woodstove, sunset with drinks on the deck, moonrise with a dip in the hottub & mornings with fresh espresso. Permit yourself to depart land for a while and come stand watch at The Tower.

Cozy Cottage on South Shore. 30 min from Halifax!

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. Hello and welcome to the holiday house at Hummingbird Hill! Conveniently located between exits 21 and 22 off the 101 hwy, we are the ideal location for travelers looking to cross on the Digby ferry. This single level house has all the necessary amenities and is accessible to all. Our large property boasts gardens, fire pits, and yard games. The Rosette forestry trail is also open to all visitors of humming bird hill. We hope you will join us in our little piece of paradise.
