A very nice apartment with a view of the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The accommodation is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and the city center of La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The accommodation is also within walking distance of the train station.

A real favorite! Everything was perfect and the apartment met all our expectations during our stay. Very functional, clean, tastefully decorated and real attention to detail. We felt right at home there. The hosts are lovely, warm and very caring. Thank you for this beautiful interlude, we will definitely come back!

The house is absolutely in line with the listing. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoker). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

Such a great place and location! It’s exactly as it’s listed and more! The concierge Isabelle, who greeted us was great! Very friendly, informative and kept in touch with us re an earlier arrival time if we wanted it, and clear arrangements for our departure day! 👍 The accommodation had everything we needed - was very comfortable, and so tidy and clean/spotless on our arrival. It is located in a lovely very peaceful residential area- pine cladded /sandy & just 5 mins walk to the beautiful beach, and not much further to centre of the village with bars/ restaurants & shops! (About 10 mins!) We hope to be back, thank you Valérie, and we highly recommend this great accommodation! Do give it a try, and book! You won’t be disappointed! Rob & Ann Hampshire/England.

We had a pleasant stay in Christophe's house. The views are simply magical. The place was spotless when we arrived! Being able to do everything on foot is also very appreciable, beach, walk on the coastal path in front of the house, shops and markets nearby. Christophe is a charming and very hospitable and friendly host. Welcome drink was on the table upon arrival, very nice! He is very attentive and has good tips for the area. Also responds directly to any question you ask. It is a very nice place to stay and to explore the neighborhood: the beach is beautiful and the sea too! We were able to park the car in the driveway, but there is also a garage. The backyard is completely private and fully fenced, ideal for a dog. We found the electric shutters for all the windows in the house to be a plus: so you can really sleep in the dark. After a nice holiday week, we unfortunately had to go home again :)

We had a pleasant stay in this green setting with a sumptuous and lush garden populated with pretty little frogs that we enjoyed watching. We had a great stay in this house with heated pool and jacuzzi! House tastefully decorated and well-equipped! There were 11 of us and we didn't feel cramped! We recommend this place without any worries!

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with the family in Les Sables d 'Olonne, and this apartment contributed greatly to it. The view is simply splendid. The apartment is in a great location, bright, clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped. A huge thank you to our host, a lady of great kindness, available and caring. We were also touched by the kindness and warm welcome of the Sablais, who make this city even more enjoyable to discover. We recommend this listing without a second thought, and will be happy to come back!

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the island of Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental right next door, friendly). The little extra is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous views (even from the shower!), and delightful little private beach - where our kids enjoyed playing while we played boules on the lawn above. Lovely walk into the old port, either along the beach path, or inland along the beautiful grassy avenue. Great restaurants in the town, although we enjoyed most meals at home so we could make the most of the fantastic views. A wonderful stay!

Beautiful place with breathtaking ocean views. This is the second time we have come and we intend to return.

This apartment is in a great location with views over the harbour and the sea. It is clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We like that once there it is possible to leave your car in its parking space and walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. A lovely place for a calm and restful holiday.

We had a lovely stay at Ingrid's apartment. It is located close to the port. Facing to the west, it is sunny at the end of the day . It has a parking space and bike storage in a secure residence (a big plus for a stay on Île de Ré where the interest is to get around by bike). It is well equipped and very clean. Bedding is good. Ingrid is friendly and available. Good location!
