We had a wonderful weekend in Uitgeest as a family of five. The surroundings with the windmill, the meadows with lots of water, nature and the beautiful place just around the corner are the perfect starting point for various excursions to the sea or to Haarlem and Amsterdam. Our hosts were always very friendly and helpful, the house offers everything you need and is beautifully cozy. We will be happy to come back!

Quite cozy place with relaxing moment

A beautiful home immersed in nature and surrounded with friendly animals. We had a very peaceful stay and we felt very much at home. We will return!

Very pretty house in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Plenty of natural light. The place was far better than the pictures. 20 minute drive from the airport with private parking. The owner lives next door and was very welcoming.

After a pleasant communication with Maartje, we were warmly welcomed by Ernest. The cottage is very lovingly and cozily furnished and has a nice little garden. If necessary, two bicycles are available. You feel right at home, everything you need is available. The location is within walking distance of the center of Muiden, where there are nice cafes and restaurants. From Amsterdam, you need 10 minutes by car to Weesp and then 18 minutes by train to the main station. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back at any time. Yasmine and Sabah are, without question, the kindest and most helpful hosts I have ever met. I was dealing with a family emergency and had to book an Airbnb at the very last minute, and they showed me such immense kindness and support that I will never forget it. They went far above and beyond anything I could have hoped for — from being warm and responsive to offering help with genuine care and compassion. I will forever be grateful and indebted to them for their generosity during a very difficult time. In addition to being such lovely people, their Airbnb is absolutely fantastic. It is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully set up, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described — if not better — and it felt like a peaceful, welcoming retreat from the moment I walked in. I cannot recommend staying with Yasmine and Sabah highly enough. They are extraordinary hosts and truly wonderful people. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment has a modern a spacious kitchen and it was a pleasure to have our morning coffee there. There's a cozy little yard where you can hang out and a stylish newly renovated bathroom. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and communicative. Definitely the nicest airbnb we've ever been to in Amsterdam!

Mariette's home was a perfect getaway for the two of us and our dog. The house is thoughtfully prepared with everything guests might need - the kitchen had all the essentials. It was a real pleasure to enjoy views of different wooded areas from every window. The location is fantastic: the beach is just a 5-minute walk from the house. Muiderberg is about 1 hour by public transport or 30 minutes by car from Amsterdam Centraal. It's the perfect balance of peace, nature, and city access! Thanks to Mariette's hospitality and the calm atmosphere of the house, we had a truly memorable holiday. We're already looking forward to visiting again!

A comfortable and beautiful flat in a peerless location. Only problem is that you won't want to leave to explore Amsterdam as sitting at the window in the flat is so beguiling.

It is a very cosy and familiar apartment. Peaceful and super close to Amsterdam and Den Hague. You feel fast at home. The breakfast was super, so we could enjoy our trip. I really recommend Mark as a host.

Our stay at Lisette's is always amazing 👏 We spent a great time together with the cutie of Jet. Lisette's place and Limmen are greats places to have a peaceful and quiet escape and easy to goto other big cities. we totally recommend it! and of course, we would love to comeback soon 💖

The cottage was beautiful, very peaceful with views of sheep and the hosts happy chickens walking about. We were able to get public transport into the centre of Amsterdam fairly easily, the bus stop is super close by and they come regularly. Having two bathrooms was great as there were 5 of us! The honesty box was lovely and very helpful for when we first arrived, this contained cold drinks, snacks and honey from their own bees. Thanks for having us! 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Adva’s place! The house is beautifully tucked away in nature and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was exactly as described — clean, well-equipped, and very dog-friendly, which we really appreciated. The self check-in was smooth and Adva’s instructions were super clear. We also loved the forest walks right outside the door. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and relax.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

A super beautiful, quiet and cozy house. We had a great time! The photos capture the vibe accurately. Plus you have horses in view at any time you want. An easy 15 mins walk to the beach & approx. 20/25 mins to town and the nearest restaurants/bars. Tjeerd & Laurie are super responsive and always offer kind advice when needed. We’d be happy to come back another time!

We were in Rose's amazing cottage for our first wedding anniversary for a few days. Rose had made a rose and a card very thoughtful for us, which immediately made for a nice welcome! We had wonderful days by the fireplace, enjoyed the area with our dogs and the sunrise from the dike is fantastic!
