Guest house holiday rentals in Allegheny River

I truly loved this place! My dad, son and I had the best time staying here and skiing at Holiday Valley. It was clean, warm, comfortable and has some of the best ski memorabilia on the walls. Really a very cool place. To be clear, this place is not fancy, but I was not expecting anything fancy. I wanted a safe place that was warm and inviting, away from the busy, hectic Ellicotville and this nailed it. I would definitely stay here again. Overall this was the perfect place for my trip!

Gail was friendly & responsive and available to answer my questions. I came into town for a Steelers game and Gail’s place is about a 20 minute walk to the stadium. I’m glad I walked because I got to see all the tailgating along the way! There’s a great coffeeshop two minutes away; and my Ubers came quickly. There’s also an Aviary nearby that I wish I had more time to visit. Gail’s neighborhood is safe and the people in Pittsburgh are super friendly! 💛

Jennifer was a wonderful, friendly host. She was very quick to answer any questions we had. The house was ready on time, clean, & absolutely beautiful. We were all very comfortable. There were adequate towels/linens. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. We bought plastic wrap & foil, and seasonings for cooking. We would definitely recommend staying here. It was close to Geneva on the Lake & various wineries. We enjoyed our stay and would love to rent Jennifer's house again.

We stopped here for one night in the middle of a long car trip, perfect for what we needed! Clean and quick one night stay that accommodated our 4 legged kiddos!

The place is "rustic." If you're looking for fancy, go someplace else, but it was just what we were after. The beds were definitely on the hard side, but with plenty of bedding available the problem was easily overcome with extra "padding." I would recommend Julie's place to anyone looking for a cozy retreat while in the area.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer!! Looking forward to revisiting soon. The hosts were very nice and I highly recommend choosing this place. It was very peaceful, we slept very well and the bed was great. We stayed 2 nights and wanted to stay longer.

This is hands down my favorite place to stay when visiting the area. The setting is beautiful - there are hummingbirds, groundhogs, deer, and everything in between. The space is always clean and everything works perfectly - great water pressure in the shower! Anthony is a great host and is available with anything you need yet it still feels perfectly private. I highly recommend it!

Anna Marie and Ed were fantastic hosts. Anna Marie gave us great directions to the place prior to arrival and was prompt to answer my questions. Upon arrival we had a great conversation with Anna Maire and Ed at check. Anna Marie and Ed checked in on us to see if we needed anything during our stay and were available for us. At the time of check out I had a great conversation with Ed and shared some stories from the past and stories about the things during our stay. We had a great time during our stay and the cabin was very peaceful and immaculate. I want to thank Anna Marie and Ed for providing such a great place to stay. We will definitely be back for another stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Lake Lodge. The property was extremely clean & comfortable, and was stocked with every item you could possibly need. Daniel & Heidi were excellent hosts and were very responsive and helpful. We travel to the area at least a few times per year, and look forward to staying at Bear Lake Lodge again on our next trip!

My 3 kids and I had a wonderful time at Eunice's place. The teenager loved the huge couch and TV, and we all enjoyed the rural surroundings for a quiet weekend.

Barb's place is not for folks who are looking for nightlife. It's deep in rural Pennsylvania, about 20 minutes from State College, and you will have to drive to get to anywhere else. But if you're looking for peaceful meadows and wide open spaces, this place is for you. We were awestruck by the number of stars in the night sky, and the absolute quiet that enveloped us upon arrival. Barb provides the all basics, just as neat as a pin. There are no fancy amenities. Not that we needed them, but creamer for our morning coffee would have been nice. And suggestions for restaurants in town too. But that aside, everything else you might need is there, and it's clean and tidy and well-kept. And oh-so quiet. Thanks, Barb.

This was a cute little house that was easy to get to and close to shops. Everything was clean and tidy. We had a great stay and you cannot beat the price! We felt safe being in a town we had never been to. Will book again if we come this way again!

Mojo's Loft was thoughtfully prepared. It was extremely clean and dog friendly. It was the perfect location for our weekend stay. Tammy was so kind and informative that we were very comfortable with our stay. In fact, we are already looking into another stay. Something that we were pleasantly surprised to find out; during our stay, was that Tammy and Floyd are philanthropists using some of their rental property fees to donate to local animal causes. *If you are traveling to the Pittsburgh area, especially with a pet, look into their properties - you won't be disappointed.*

I stayed here for my bachelorette party with my bridal party and it was a great place for peace and relaxation for us all. Rebekah responded very quickly with any questions we had about the Airbnb. There was also a nice, friendly cat there to keep us company while we were outside. We all had a very nice time!

We just got home from our two day stay @ Vince and Chelsey's home in Coudersport. The hosts were more than accommodating and their home was a perfect jumping off location for our activities in the area. If your here and can book a few days you wouldn't regret 'dark sky star watching ' @ Cherry Springs. Stare park. My wife and I also had a fun visit to the local 'Eliott Ness Museum ' (who knew), from Untouchables fame and also a beautiful hike down to waters edge @ nearby Grand canyon of PA (beautiful views also). if you want a quiet weekend getaway or just some time to take in the beauty of nature this hidden gem af an air BNB is a great place to start. thanks again Vince & Chelsey!

Loved this place. Rhonda and Denny are great hosts. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Gave me a tour of the grounds. Two ponds loaded with fish. Bring your fishing rod!! On a scale of one to five this place is a TWELVE!! I highly recommend!!

Very nice cabin. Within walking distance to lake. Just like a home away from home. Highly recommend them.

The place was nice and so was the host. We had good time but there were few things I didn’t know which was in Bedford country 15 min from there didn’t sell beer at local shops. Another thing was Walmart didn’t have grocery only other thing product. The owner lives next door. Other than that we had a great time it was a good place very clean and friendly host.

I am from Hollidaysburg and had a wedding in the area- I was thrilled to find an Airbnb that would put me back to how I grew up with land and peaceful surroundings, now living in a city I don’t get that much! The location was perfect the host was great very comfortable and cozy- nostalgic to wake up and hear the birds and see the land

Great little cottage located within walking distance to many area restaurants. It worked well for us as it was located 5 minutes from the Fairgrounds. The only suggestions would be adding a couple of chairs for the sitting area. The couch was really small and we had to use our lawn chair for additional seating. The bathroom area was extremely small. but very clean. The little makeup erasers were a thoughtful touch!
