This is a fantastic airbnb in Amsterdam. The location is very convenient and everything is within easy walking distance. The apartment is extremely comfortable, very clean and tastefully decorated. It provided everything we needed without any unnecessary clutter . The beds are very comfortable. Agnes was very responsive to all the questions we had before arriving to Amsterdam. We were welcomed at the apartment by Sander. He was very friendly and warm while informative and clear explaining how things work in the apartment. We really enjoyed our five nights stay and will plan to stay here again at our next visit to Amsterdam. We highly recommend it. .

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit toller Ausstattung, eingezäuntem Außenbereich und nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt. Die Kommunikation war super ☺️👍🏼

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

Great place, right next to central station and a short walk to the canals

The space is amazing with natural sunlight coming into the living room area. It is definitely big enough for 2 or 3 people. The kitchen has all the basics that are necessary for basic meals.

We had a wonderful stay at Bert and Marieke's spacious apartment. We were welcomed by Bert who helped us with our luggage up the stairs and showed us into their well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. It had everything we could need. The apartment was beautiful. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Bert and Marieke.

We had an amazing stay in Amsterdam. Wonderful hosts that thought of everything. Large cocktail ice cubes, filtered water machine, chilled beverages in the frig, instant hot water faucet specifically for hot tea at the kitchen sink, great packet of information about the area, umbrella if needed and more. The flat was extremely clean, well decorated and in a great location to immerse yourself in Amsterdam. I would recommend this flat and would definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Irma. Le logement est très propre, agréable, bien équipé. L’environnement est très joli. Irma est une hôte très sympathique et réactive. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Wir hatten ein wundervolles langes Wochenende in der sehr typisch niederländischen Unterkunft von Ber. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig inmitten einer Nachbarschaft gelegen, dennoch super nah an Einkaufsgelegenheiten und den Autobahnen, um zum Beispiel nach Alkmaar, Haarlem oder Amsterdam zu gelangen. Die Unterkunft ist vollständig ausgestattet mit einer sehr hochwertigen Küche und Ber hat die Unterkunft bereits mit allen kleinen Alltagsdingen ausgestattet, die man braucht (Spülmaschinentabs, Gewürze, etc.) Ein besonderes Highlight für unsere Kinder waren die Meerschweinchen und die Hühner, um die sie sich kümmern konnten, während wir uns sehr über den lokal produzierten Käse gefreut haben, mit dem wir bei der Ankunft überrascht wurden. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Hele hartelijke ontvangst van Ruud en Peter, direct hulp gekregen met tillen. De woning was helemaal naar verwachting, en nog een beetje beter. Een zalig bed, heerlijk fris ruikend beddengoed en handdoeken. Mooie omgeving en erg rustig gelegen. Zeker waar voor je geld .. en ik kom graag nog eens terug. Bedankt !!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Jaron’s und Jill’s Lodge. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Für unseren Kleinen wurde ein Babybett und ein Hochstuhl bereitgestellt. Auch der Kontakt zu Jaron & Jill war jederzeit hervorragend. Wir haben uns hier alle sehr wohlgefühlt und werden hier definitiv wieder Urlaub machen. Kurz und knapp: Danke und bis zum nächsten Mal ☺️

Logement agréable ou l'on se sent à l'aise dès l'ouverture de la porte d'entrée. Tout est bien organisé et propre. c'est un logement idéal avec des enfants, notre fils a été ravis. Pour les prochains voyageurs, nous conseillons vivement de stationner votre voiture au Parkeerterrein Parcade Alkmaar Overstad qui se trouve à 10min de marche, facile pour se garer et peu coûteux (3,70€ entre 9h-20h / gratuit la nuit) Nous n'avons pas opté pour les transport en commun mais les distances vers les lieux touristiques sont rapidement accessible grâce aux axes routiers (Volendam / Amsterdam /Keukenhof /...) Merci à Michelle et sa famille d'avoir proposés leur maison sur Airbnb, ce qui nous a permis de passer une bonne semaine de vacances.

There is nothing to add to the comments, the house has its peculiar charme. What is'nt mentioned clealy in the description: you have to bring your own towels. Two bicycles can be rented. The parking place behind the house is public but mostly available. For coffee lovers: machine is available with capsule system 'Dolce Gusto'. We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

Yafit and Jerry’s apartment was everything we wanted and more! Such a beautiful spot and well equipped. Me and my friend stayed for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed chilling on the outdoor seating area after a long day of sight seeing in Amsterdam. On our first day we explored Zaandam on foot and on the bikes provided at the apartment. We visited nearby Zaanse Schans which was great! The other two days we spent sightseeing in Amsterdam which was easy to reach on the train. We loved our trip and we would happily stay here again!

The location of this Airbnb is excellent — situated in a quiet neighborhood that made for a peaceful stay. The studio is small but cozy, featuring a comfortable bed and a shower with great pressure and temperature. Since the apartment is in the basement, you could occasionally hear noises from the residence above, but it was never a major disturbance. One of the best parts is that it’s right next to a lovely park, making it super walkable. Plus, you can easily walk to many of Amsterdam’s main attractions from here, which is very convenient. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if I return to Amsterdam.

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern eine Woche in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung entspricht exakt den Fotos und Beschreibungen. Alles war sauber und sauber ausgestattet. Man kann das Meer vom Balkon aus sehen und hören. Die Schlafzimmer konnten super abgedunkelt werden. Henk war jederzeit erreichbar und freundlich. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem großen Wohngebäude. Dennoch war es total ruhig und erholsam! Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. In wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand, in der Stadt mit Supermarkt, keinen Geschäften und Restaurants. Auch ein Fahrradverleih befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Uns hat es ausnahmslos gefallen und können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Henri our stay was very nice and the personal touch like ,fruit,beard,eggs etc in the fridge and the other personal touches in the flat made us very welcome,if we come to Amsterdam again i would definitely stay there,it was excellent.thankyou mel & henri for allowing us to share your home with us . Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!

Gospodarz wypełnił lodówkę niespodziewanym poczęstunkiem napojami oraz winem, co nas miło zaskoczyło. W mieszkaniu było dużo miejsca, było ogólnie ładnie. Troszkę zmarzłam w nocy, ale w gorące dni będzie super. Słychać było kroki mieszkających nad nami oraz jak ktoś używa wodę, ponieważ dom jest dawno wybudowany. Napewno bardzo ładny ogródek. Bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny Gospodarz.

A pleasure to stay here. Much better than a hotel. Felt like home from home. As a result of a great stay, will come back again with my wife. So close to the centre but also perfectly set a little away. Great restaurants, bakery and bars nearby. A great place for taking a run each day and of course, pick up a bike and take a ride.

John has been a brilliant host throughout our stay. He provided very helpful and clear information on getting to and into the property and advice on local restaurants. The property is ideal for a stay in Amsterdam and just as described on Airbnb. The area is upmarket, residential but still buzzy. The views of the river are outstanding. I highly recommend it.
