This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. Have fun with the whole family or group of friends in our quirky house. It's a 10 minute walk from the city centre of Alkmaar and 7 minutes to the train station. The train can take you directly to Amsterdam in 35 minutes. A return train ticket costs roughly €19 Alkmaar is an old Dutch city just like Amsterdam but smaller. Enjoy the canals, great food and cozy atmosphere. There is free parking close to the house which is a 700 meter walk or paid parking right in front for €26 a day

Nice, small room with everything you need for a short trip. Friendly hostess. By bike you can quickly reach the old town or the North Sea. We were also able to rent bicycles directly at the accommodation.

Linda was a very friendly host who always responded quickly to messages! It was noticed that she put a lot of effort into furnishing the apartment. The apartment is very quaint and cozy. You couldn't live more centrally in Alkmaar: shops, restaurants, etc. can be reached in less than 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the church tower clock strikes every quarter of an hour at night, which was a bit difficult at night. Linda has provided us with earplugs for this. The beds were very cozy for it!

TinyHouse Alkmaar is a small, very very small house.. but I felt like home. Thing is - the owners are one of a kind - and that is after staying in the previous airbnb which the host make me feel as if I am doing something wrong just for wishing to cook in the kitchen… If the only thing i mainly have to say about the “negative”, I guess - that’s the best compliment you can give, given the housing prices. If the price works for you, if the size doesn’t make you unable to move physically, you might find TinyHouse to be the best! The house is tiny, but very well planned and consolidated. Some things are inevitable- like water splashing to the floor.. while washing dishes or cooking.. I can go on and on - bottom line though - it felt like home. Arjon and Femka are the best house owners to have.. the best. To conclude, the house is small, the owners - the biggest heart (test me on that by all means). I could stay there for a year, if I could. Thank you Femka, and thank you - Arjon!
