Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Alexandria Bay

Our family recently stayed at this charming cottage in Clayton, the 1000 Islands and couldn’t have been more pleased. The place was immaculately clean, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere that made it feel like a true home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the amenities were top-notch from a well-stocked kitchen to comfy beds and lovely outdoor spaces for relaxing. It’s clear the owners take great pride in providing a wonderful experience. We will happily return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting.

This is a lovely home on a quiet street. Four of us stayed here for a long-weekend birthday celebration and found it charming. We had hot weather one day and enjoyed using the large barbecue and eating in the screened pavilion. Another day was chilly, so the gas-lit woodstove was enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the furnishings were very comfy. We enjoyed the view from the sunporch, even when it was rainy. Thanks, Susan for a cozy stay!

The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with every common amenity. The owner was apparently considering customers' needs in detail, and prepared everything in advance. We especially like the private dock where we parked our boat, with a electric charging cable readily usable. A private marina is just across the small bay 50 yards away from the dock, with a waterfront gas station and a boat launching ramp conveniently available. It's also a very safe and quiet area. We definitely will consider renting the house again when we go back to the Thousand Island Park in the future.

This was the second time we have stayed here at Heather's place. The location is second to none; peaceful, private, beautiful. The house was clean, easy to find, easy to access using the lock and instructions she provided. We had a great time on the back deck, utilized the grill and the kitchen with no glitches. Suzanne's place is impeccable! Every detail was thought of by the hosts. Beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and well stocked. The location is perfect. It's quiet but restaurants, shops, and river are a short walk away. While the weather was not great for most of our stay, the house was a delightful homebase for a girls trip. Would stay again without hesitation!

A great place to stay. Morgan’s home had everything needed for a perfect stay. The sun room was amazing and a wonderful place to sit and wind down each evening. The home itself was cozy, clean and well equipped. I loved that Morgan had printed off all the local amenities, with things to do and tours to take which was very helpful when choosing what to decide each day and left them on the kitchen counter. Morgan was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to messages. I would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful stay and it was awesome that we could bring our thirteen month old dog. Communication was superb and so kind and responsive. The home is just like the pictures and description listed and decorated very clean, bright and homey. The extra touches of amazing things such as a welcome basket, dog items, toys for children and games made you feel like you are at home. We would totally recommend staying here.... great fishing area, backyard, not far from Clayton, Cape Vincent and Sacket Harbor.

The House was exactly as photographed (in fact even better in real life). The views are amazing and the location is so serene. The one thing that was really a step up from some other places we have stayed in, was that the kitchen was well stocked and had brand new pots and pans and flatware etc. The house is very well organized, and everything is documented and easy to find. There was this cute welcome packet with lots' stuff in it and a lovely Note - which made us feel very welcome.

We loved Maggie's place for the space and cleanliness. Great location within walking distance of downtown Kingston. Easy access and very comfortable and quiet.

This spot was a great stay for two while in town to attend a competition. Clean and quiet, this space had just what we needed. Close to downtown and all the shops and restaurants.

Beautiful art and very clean. There was a lot of noise Friday night because there were lots of hells Angels hanging out right outside. Don’t know what that was about. Great beds and accommodation

We had a relaxing stay . Sid met us at front door and even though it was on the second floor Sid carried my bags upstairs for me . On Sid’s recommendation we went straight to a lovely Italian restaurant across road . The kitchen was very good and stove easy to manage . Bath towels lovely and soft with a beautiful smell. I had the pleasure of staying at Stephanie's place for several weeks. As a host, Steph is warm, welcoming, and kind. She's an excellent communicator and seems to anticipate your needs. The air bnb is attractive, clean, and well laid out. It has everything you need for a short or long-term stay. The space looks and feels larger than the pictures portray. I had my dog with me, and we enjoyed daily walks around the pretty neighborhood. The grocery store is a 5 minute drive. Restaurants and shops are 15 minutes away in downtown Kingston. Steph's place is on the bus line if you want to skip the metered parking in town. I highly recommend this air bnb and hope to return.

Sean is a wonderful host. His million dollar home is incredibly well stocked with all the amenities. I think we’re the first Snowy, Winter review …. and we definitely rate it 5 Stars like all the warm weather reviews. The lovely fireplace glows throughout the massive living room, and our Christmas Dinner at the huge dining table was epic! The house has a magnificent heating system; even single digit outdoor temperatures were no problem for it. Sean deserves his Super Host status …. He didn’t mind me texting & calling him for restaurants and various instructions … a truly nice fellow. The house is a bit hidden away but its views and grandeur are unmatched. We definitely want to return in the summer to take advantage of its magnificent waterfront location. Thank you Sean for trusting us with your mansion!

We were so grateful to have an affordable place for our large family to gather comfortably in the winter. The large private property was a real asset as we had lots of kids in our group who like to play outside and this let the adults have some peaceful moments together. The kitchen’s had everything we needed. The houses were clean and uncluttered, yet cozy. All the furniture was useful and practical. Robin was responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning one day.

Great place with great view!

Kim's home was the perfect winter getaway. Very spacious and warm, and close to the lake and great trails for hiking and snowshoeing. Only tip is if you plan on doing any cooking, there's no oil, salt, pepper, etc so come prepared!

A great vacation

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!
