Our bright 3-room attic apartment is located in a rural area, but offers several shopping opportunities within a 2-5 min walk. The Swiss border is only a 5 min drive from the apartment. The apartment offers 2 bedrooms and a large living, dining and kitchen area. The apartment has its own balcony as well as a beautiful view from the skylight. Included are free parking, a washing machine and fast internet. Furthermore we offer our guests free access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+!

Mettlenhof or the Mettlen Farm is a hand built, restored farmhouse in Mettlen, Schopfheim, Baden Württemberg. Rebuilt by the hosts with traditional craft and natural materials, it’s a light filled home for up to 10 guests, with floor to ceiling windows over rolling hills, Icelandic horses and Scottish Blackface sheep. Ideal for group getaways and retreats with no noise limitations or as a base to explore the Black Forest and the nearby borders of Germany, Switzerland and France.

The resort for nature lovers is located in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Above the cloud sea of the Rhine plain stands our beautiful forest house. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30min. To Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Feldberg 45 minutes. Attention: Schweigmatt swimming pool only for club members.

Southern Black Forest: Kaiserhof for families

Due to the complete core renovation in 2022, the approx. 70 sqm apartment in modern splendor. The separate entrance leads to the living area (+ new sofa bed). Next to it is the large bedroom, in which there is a double bed + single bed. The hallway leads to the large kitchen area, the single room, as well as the large modern bathroom. Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Whether as a cheap accommodation after a seminar, course or conference in the city, or as a starting point for relaxing forays through the lovely hills and along the Erzbach and the Aare, here right on the edge of the forest, just a stone's throw from the city center, you are welcome. In the shade of the trees, you have a small terrace during your stay, the separate entrance can be reached via a few steps.

The accommodation is located in rural Hochfelden. Zurich Airport can be reached in 15 minutes by car and Zurich City in 40 minutes. Every 30 minutes, a bus leaves that offers various connections. Zurich Airport and Zurich City can be reached in 45 minutes. To make your stay more comfortable, I offer a reliable shuttle service to Zurich Airport, Zurich City and Bülach train station for a fee. So you can arrive and depart stress-free.
