What can I say.......This was PARADISE!!!!! I have rented many houses through different websites, and this house was exactly what they said it was going to be. I stayed in this beautiful house 5/25/25 to 6/56/25. Everything was Perfect from the first day I entered this house, until the day I left. Armando, and his Wife Andrea made the entire trip perfect. They took care of any of our needs. I loved the little shopping, and restaurant area close to the house. If you are looking for a Beautiful, and Peaceful house to vacation in, this is the HOUSE!!! Also, the Entire Staff at Akumal Villas if fantastic. They answered all my questions before arriving to the house. I would like to Thank everyone for the Best Vacation I have ever had. Looking forward to returning to this House again soon.

This was our third stay at Casa Dulce and it will NOT be our last. Great location in Playacar Fase 1 with a private pool to cool off in after walking around 5th Avenue (about 10 minute walk) or spending the day at the beach which is less than 2 blocks from the home. Alizee sent an email before our arrival with restaurant suggestions as well as suggestions of things to do. The AC was a definite plus. We would turn it on before bed and the room was nice and cool for sleeping. Highly recommend this Airbnb location in Playa del Carmen

A truly perfect experience from beginning to end. I took my mom and a group of her friends here for a 60th celebration and everyone was so blown away. We felt so safe and comfortable the entire time. All of their suggestions were outstanding. Would absolutely recommend and am planning on coming back!

Erik’s house was very spacious just as described! Erik was very attentive and always responded right away! My children enjoyed the pool during our stay! No problems during our stay!

We had a magical week at Adolfo’s place with our family of 5 adults and 2 kids. The location is spectacular and the kids loved being able to play on the beach and jump in the pool. Early risers will love the sunrise view from the beach. The location itself is an amazing jumping off point to enjoy Akumal (great taco spots in town!), Tulum, and local cenotes and eco parks. We were a bit anxious about not having AC in the main living area but the breeze was beautiful and it allowed us to really embrace indoor/outdoor living. The caretaking staff are wonderful and very helpful - they helped us arrange for massages at the house and kept the property meticulously clean. We also took advantage of Chef Carlos’s services and are so happy we did. The house itself is very comfortable. Showing its age in places but we appreciated it being un-fussy - especially with young kids. The kitchen is well-appointed with dishes but you’ll need to bring your own basic cooking supplies.

The very best Airb&b experience to date! Tanya greeted me to a extremely clean place, we'll thought out, safe and private place. I loved the authentic Spanish kitchen and modest bathroom. And how thoughtful of her to provide everything you need to nourish yourself upon arrival and longer. The place is located within walking distance of Super Aki and other stores.Super Aki is a frequent meeting spot for many excursions. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Great house with amazing views and beach access. Cecilia was so helpful answering questions and making recommendations. Rosie kept the house spotless. We had chefs come in (Daniella and Flor) who made us so many great meals. We walked to town a few times with our kids, which was fun. The only bummer was the amount of sea grass on the beach, but that’s a seasonal thing. Luckily there are plenty of places to go to adventure off to. Overall it was a great place to stay and enjoy.

Amazing, beautiful, peaceful. Everything you could desire from a beach vacation home and more. Guillermo is amazing and helpful with any requests. Snorkeling is steps away from the property with clear blue waters filled with tropical fish, sting rays, even barracudas! We loved snorkeling just past the pier. We loved getting to cook all of our own meals with quick trips to town for Cheap groceries at both the mega mart and chedraui. We rented a car for the whole trip, but there were taxis everywhere. Renting a boat to snorkeling the reef is a Must. We have found a home away from home here. I've never experienced a property with this kind of hospitality and serenity before.

We had a lovely stay. Condo was perfect and exactly as explained. Bring some laundry detergent with you. Only downside was it wasn’t walkable to anything so you have to have a car but we knew this in advance. Akumal is 5 min away and Tulum is 20-40 depending on where you want to go. Lilian was super responsive and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for us, quiet, roomy, with access to both pool and beach. We loved the pool by the beach!! The building complex is great, although the walk to the unit is somewhat long especially when carrying luggage or groceries! We had a car so getting to restaurants and grocery options was easy. Tulum is not far, appx a 20 min drive where there are lots of restaurants and 2 large grocery stores. I would not recommend staying here without a car. Shana and her co-hosts are great, very responsive and friendly, as are the security folks at the entrance. We recommend this location without hesitation and would definitely return if ever back to Akumal.

Edna was an extremely sweet, responsive, and helpful host. Her place was beautiful, walking distance to activities and restaurants, and private. We highly recommend this fabulous place!

Great spacious studio with a washer and dryer and lots of household items to get you started. A great amenity is the mosquito sheath covered patio which is great to sit out on without getting eating by mosquitos. The place is in a fully gated community which if you dont have a car is difficult to come and go from especially as the Tulum country club doesnt allow visitors who aren’t guests but if this isnt an issue for you this is a great very well Priced to stay In the area with restaurants and a mini mart great for getting supplies without having to leave the property. Caribbean visa were very easy to deal with and very responsive to any requests or questions during my stay.

All I can say is wow! The location was beautiful! We were worried there wouldn’t be anything near by but there was a little store and plenty of restaurants walking distance from the location. The views were amazing of the jungle from the rooms and the beach from the other side. It was way better than expected and the host were extremely responsive and flexible! There is also a check in at a gate before entering the community so it gave a sense of peace for our family. I will definitely be staying there again when I go back to visit.

The place is wonderful and our host was great as well. Location is perfect, it is a beachfront property so you always wake up to the sound of the waves and the birds. The place is a walk distance of restaurants and cafes so it made our life so much easier.

I loved staying here it’s in the jungle and it’s so pretty there is so much stuff to do near by and the stay was nice as well as the pool !! I would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Templia! The space was perfect for a relaxing and quiet getaway—especially during our visit in May when the town was peaceful and calm. We loved being able to walk to a nearby convenience store and a few great spots for breakfast and brunch. The concierge team was fantastic—helping us set up excursions and arranging private chefs so we could enjoy delicious dinners right in our rental. We always felt safe and well taken care of throughout the week. Highly recommend Templia for anyone looking for a comfortable and serene escape!

This was a vacation 16 years in the making and we wanted it to be special. Three generations of our family would be traveling together and we need the accommodations to be better than good. We needed them to be remarkable. You read the descriptions and see the photos when deciding on a place to stay, and sometimes they are accurate enough. Jaclyn's photos and description of the property did not do it justice. The condo, the property, and the staff were so far beyond our expectations, I can't even begin to say enough. I don't think we've ever stayed anywhere in our years of traveling that I would make the comment that the gardens and the view alone were enough to warrant a 5-star review. All said, the condo was light, spacious, and comfortable. The decor was beautiful and displayed the talents of the local people. Everything you could need is provided. We'll never forget our stay at Jaclyn's little slice of paradise on the Riviera Maya. Hopefully we'll return again soon!

my stay was excellent, everything was very clean the impeccable bathroom, the kitchen very equipped and clean, it is surrounded by nature, the pool is excellent, especially the pool that is located on the upper floor has a wonderful view to the sea and the jungle. Truly incredible, there was no one else but us, The beach of the club beach has a lot of Roca, they are however, the pool and the excellent facilities. i recommend going by own car and passing before arriving for the food and drinks that you are going to occupy because there is nothing to buy in el.lugar. it is a 15 minute drive to akumal beach to visit all day and swim with the turtles was an unforgettable experience! and half an hour from Playa del Carmen and Tulim, it is in a strategic place to move. Fernando always very attentive to my stay, always answered all my calls, 100% recommended

This home is a little slice of heaven. Just enough off the beaten path to be able to fully unwind. Home is so comfortable with everything you need. Beautiful surroundings, kind genuine people, nature. You can get a golf cart and so many activities and restaurants are minutes away. The restraint “la lunita” is right next to the pool in front of the condo. The food and drinks are tops. We have stayed here twice now. I hope to come many more times. My family agrees it’s has been one of the best vacations we have ever been on both times. 10 of 10 highly recommended.

I spent a week at Cheryle's place. It was fabulous, every part of it. First, Cheryle is the best Air BnB host I have ever experienced (and I've experienced a lot!). Before going down, I had a question about sargassum on the beach, and she sent detailed responses and pictures - which was so helpful! She also let me check in early. She also checked in throughout my stay, to make sure everything was going well. Her apartment is lovely too. All of the photos that she has on the listing capture it exactly. But it's better than the photos. I enjoyed the apartment. I was working; it's a great place for a digital nomad. I also really enjoyed the shared pool, much more than I expected. It's beautiful, jungly, quiet - a really nice place to chill. I saw lots of wildlife too, just sitting by the pool. I had a rental car. That made it easy. It would be doable without one, but personally I liked being able to go where I wanted / when I wanted. I would love to go back when I'm not working!

We had a wonderful stay at La Bahia. The host was helpful before we booked and afterwards with any questions as well as instructions. The staff at the condo was also attentive, including fixing a broken freezer very quickly. The beach access was superb despite the sargassum this time of year. We'd recommend getting a car or stopping in a bigger town with a full grocery store before heading to the Airbnb. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend La Bahia to anyone looking to visit Akumal!

The unit was very clean when we checked in - and was cleaned every day. It has all that we needed in the kitchen. Mostly, tho, was the location: just a few seconds walk to the Bay (between which was a small pool, great if you bring along kids). The sun rose straight out the ceiling to floor glass windows at the end of the unit. There are two bedrooms, each with what appeared to be king sized beds, and each with it's own bathroom. I highly recommend this unit

A great place for a peaceful stay in Akumal. Snorkeling paradise! Very friendly staff and security did more than required to make us feel safe and welcome. I would advise to bring plenty of food since the restaurant was closed, but it was three-kings day so maybe just bad timing for us. The nearby Pueblo across the road is pretty crappy, but there is fresh produce available there. If I go again I will stay away from the town.
