Family-friendly holiday rentals in Åhus

The week we spent at Kent's place was truly amazing! We were lucky to have really good wether so we could sit in the sun on the large back porch, prepare some barbecue, or spent the evening hours in the whirpool. When we booked this vacation we hoped to spent some relaxing days together. These expectations were not only met, but significantly surpassed. Kent was a formidable host over the entire time. Starting by greeting us in person to answering all our questions about the local area. We can not recommend a stay with Kent enough and we would come back any time.

Very pleasant stay at the farmhouse. Comfortable for a large group of people, and the sauna/hot tub was a huge perk. Would absolutely recommend!

We had a lovely stay in this cozy cottage located in a beautiful surroundings (where we did two long walks in varying nature). A nice welcome from the host couple and a thoughtful and just enough breakfast with everything we needed. Bought with us lunch and coffee from a cozy cafe in the village – highly recommended. Would love to come back.

If Little Red Riding Hood had had a weekend cottage, it would probably have looked just like this log cabin in the forest - only without the wolf (but with window grilles against mosquitoes, which is actually much better). The location? Quieter than a sleeping bear in hibernation. No traffic, hardly any neighbors - just us, nature and occasionally a bird that watched us closely from the tree. The nearby lake is called "Svenstorp", but for us it was simply: "Look how beautiful!" The house itself is so cozy that we briefly considered whether we even want to go back to civilization. It was all there: fully equipped kitchen, cozy beds and an oven, in front of which you can sit for hours, philosophize or just stare into the fire. There was also enough firewood - if we had wanted to, we could have spent the whole winter there. But seriously, TV with Netflix and WiFi were also great.

Helena was very friendly and quickly explained everything we needed to know. The small house has everything you need. The garden is really nice. Our time there was very short, but we managed to take a walk in the evening and the village was beautyful, it has a bit Mediterranean feeling.

very easy to get to, and honestly one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at, the view from the bed is gorgeous. it's such a gem of a place and I can only recommend it 💎 the host is very sweet, and responsive.

This house is in a convenient location, close to beautiful hiking areas, nice places and the beach. The house is detached and beautifully located with a large garden around it and in the woods (close to a monastery, no/hardly any other houses). Inside, it is spacious and cozy with lots of personal items. The kitchen is practical, the beds are fine and the sofa is comfortable. The communication with the owner was easy and the price-quality ratio is good.

Annette is a really nice hostess who supported us a lot even in difficult times. Check-in was also very smooth and if we had help or a question she helped us right away. The house is also very nicely located and fully equipped. We also enjoyed our time in the conservatory very much. You have a beautiful view of the countryside from the conservatory. We can only recommend this cottage:)

We felt very comfortable, it may be that some utensils were a little older and some dust could be found here and there, but it has everything you need, Yvonne and her husband are very friendly and the garden is a dream! We were allowed to harvest from the vegetables, which I unfortunately only read on the last day in the booklet with the house rights, and lots of great places to relax and discover. The highlight, especially for our son, is the heated pool we were allowed to use. A dream!

Kajsa's place is perfectly located to explore Skåne. It's located within one hour or less from all nice places such as Helsingborg, Malmö, Falsterbo, Ystad, Simrishamn and more. Plus there are 2 supermarkets close by and you always have the pool if you wish to take a slow day.

Bev and Jerry were very likeable and authentic hosts who gave us many excursion tips and were always easily accessible. The apartment is lovingly decorated and very clean. Likewise, the garden and pool were very well maintained and the water pleasantly warm. The area is typically Swedish, there is plenty to discover, in nature and also in the surrounding cities. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back😀.

We enjoyed the time in the lovingly developed mill very much. It was more than enough space for 11 people and all rooms were clean and tidy. The outdoor area is also spacious and attractively designed. In addition to the heated pool, there are numerous cozy seating areas around the house, various barbecue areas and a large lawn. The property is surrounded by fields and offers plenty of privacy, but you have to travel a few kilometers for shopping. Communication with the host was very pleasant and straightforward. We will be happy to come back!

An incredibly charming accommodation with all the comforts you can imagine, within walking distance of the sea. Quick and pleasant answers from the hosts made us, on the whole, enjoy our weekend more than well. Highly recommended!
