Beach house holiday rentals in Ahangama

We had a lovely time at the property, would definitely visit and stay again. Very friendly staff and plenty of freedom and privacy. Couple of things to note, there is only one fridge for the 5 rooms we stayed at, and only one bath tub in the 5 rooms. Food was good, there are some nice shacks near by. location is excellent.

Was a nice stay at the Villa. And peshita was always there to help and for questions.

Celine’s house was great for us. 6 persons (4 adults and 2 children 3 and 4 years old). + house exactly the same as on photos. + location is great. + almost private claim beach was good. + Christian and Indra are really great hosts. Please, read feedback from Helen (November 2016) "Myself, husband, two children ......." - it's still actual.

A fantastic stay at The One led by the most wonderful staff who come daily to assist with the property and food. I will absolutely be returning and highly recommend!

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

We had a marvellous time at Dom’s place. Great location - right on the beach. Definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the villa in Mihiripenna! The property is even more beautiful than in the photos—spacious, clean, and surrounded by nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pool and garden were perfect for unwinding, and the location was ideal—just a short walk or tuk-tuk ride to the beach and nearby restaurants. A special mention goes to Nimal, the villa’s cook, who treated us to absolutely delicious meals every day. Each dish was full of flavor and made with so much care—it truly elevated our experience and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the south coast in comfort and style!

The house was even more beautiful than the photos. We had a very nice stay there. The host was very helpful and gave us everything we needed. He also gave us the number of a tuktuk driver near us for when we wanted to go to the town of Unawatuna or Galle Fort. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Words cannot even describe how amazing our stay was. Dilan, his mom and his brother made us feel right at home and so friendly to be around. It was their personalities and their open hearts that made our stay extra special. One morning I asked Dilans brother to make us a dhal curry to go with our string hoppers and it was delicious. He was kind enough to make sure we were well taken care of, as if we were their own. The place itself was spacious, comfortable and just simply beautiful. Most of all, it was so peaceful and we loved their kitty cats and their dog Shane. You can see that the brothers put a lot of love and thought into the space that they build and it’s so beautiful to see their hard work put into it for us to stay, appreciate and enjoy. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back next year, while recommending them to everyone.

I spent 3 nights at Abhaya Villas and loved every minute of it. The property is well maintained, clean and as the listing describes - right opposite the sea. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large and clean and the common area and the kitchen was also clean and decently stocked. Shaun was super responsive and helpful throughout and made it very easy for us to communicate, despite being out of the country. Ruwan, the caretaker was also very helpful. All in all, the perfect place for a nice, quiet beach time in Sri Lanka. Definitely recommend!

A very special villa set in beautiful gardens. It is every bit as lovely as the photos. The pool was stunning and so relaxing to cool off surrounded by the tropical plants. Tai was great at recommending places to visit and so responsive that we started timing how long it took for him to reply (always under a minute!). The breakfast and supper were delicious (highly recommend the banana pancakes and the chicken satay!). There is a tuktuk at OCH and Pradeep drove us wherever we asked. Galle was 10 minutes and there are several lovely beaches nearby.

Truly lovely property, which was very relaxing with a lovely garden + pool area. The hosts were great, as was property manager, Isuru. The property was as described and the garden even better than the photos. Hosts gave recommendations + arranged transfers + which were all great, they even recommended properties for a friend to stay at last minute. Check-in was completely hassle free as was contact with the on site manager who was excellent+available whenever messaged and was very responsive to cleaning/maintenance requests. There are lovely restaurants, cafes and beach bars within walking distances, meaning the holiday can be as lively or relaxed as you like. The bakery 2 doors down is fab (and even offers a cooking class which is a must!) A brilliant stay. Thank you - we'd love to come back! x

This place is truly magical — you’re nestled right in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by nature and the peaceful sounds of animals. The aesthetic is stunning, with beautiful touches like handmade ceramic plates and open-air showers that make the experience so unique. It truly is a dream! The hosts were absolutely amazing — Ellie welcomed us with fresh fruit, helped us plan our days, and was always there if we needed anything. Both Ellie & Ceci were extremely responsive and helpful with ALL our needs even things they didn’t have to help us out with! Ellie even showed up to help us with a little something and it took her a max of 10 mins to get to the villa! The neighborhood felt super safe, and the whole space felt like a serene escape. If you want an authentic Sri Lankan experience with warm hospitality and dreamy jungle vibes, we highly recommend Mihira Home!

We stayed three nights in the AirBnB and had a great time! The AirBnB is quietly located and has a beautiful garden. The house is very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. We were very satisfied. Dilan's wife brought us a snack twice, which we found very nice. She also took care of our clothes and the scooter when it rained. Communication with Dilan was great and we would recommend anyone to spend a few days here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb hosted by Ruwan, and it was a delightful experience. Ruwan was an extremely warm and welcoming host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to both the beach and Coconut Tree Hill. The lush green property felt almost like staying in a forest, offering a serene environment. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of delicious options. The room was a bit small, but it didn't affect our comfort during the stay. Additionally, Ruwan offers to help plan activities in and around Mirissa, which could add a lot of value to your trip. Despite the minor detail about the room size, the stay had its positive aspects, particularly Ruwan's hospitality, the excellent breakfast, and the beautiful surroundings. This Airbnb is a great choice for travelers looking for a welcoming host and a beautiful location.

Thank you so much for your hospitality! The place was really cozy and nice, we loved the balcony surrounded by blooming trees. The hosts were incredible - friendly, responsive. For example, we wanted ab extra key and a fan for the balcony - all of our requests were completely satisfied. It was always clean and neat - cleaning every week with a change of bed linen. The place is close to the main beaches, bus stop and everything you light need. Yard is blooming and big enough for parking 4-5 bikes

We just adored our stay at Olivia’s villa! What a treat to be able to experience the culture and history of the house in the best location right in the fort, it truly is magical, artistic and colourful! We enjoyed sundowners on the roof terrace and wandering around to all of Olivia’s recommendations for food and shopping! We stayed with 2 young children at the house which was no issue at all. Kanthi was an exceptional house keeper and we really enjoyed her delicious food! We will be sure to stay again one day when we travel to Sri Lanka! A highlight for our trip 😍

I had such a lovely stay at the House of Water Lilies! The hosts were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The place itself is peaceful, beautifully surrounded by nature, and perfect if you’re looking for a calm escape. You can really feel the love and care that went into creating this space. It’s close enough to enjoy the beaches and cafes of Weligama, but far enough to relax in total peace. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay in Sri Lanka!
