5 min from the beach and up in the jungle, it’s the best place to stay if your looking for the calm. Breakfast and Yoga sessions were great. The staff very kind. I recommend 100%.

I stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks during my hospital internship and have been very happy with the location, cleanliness and value for money. Chandra and her husband are hospitable, quiet landlords who were easy to reach at any time. I felt very safe here. This apartment is suitable for short and long stays in Galle. The city center and Unawatuna can be reached quickly by bus and for the hospital in Karapitiya I took a tuktuk every day for the equivalent of €1.50. The nearest beach is a 5-minute walk and perfect for swimming and surfing beginners. I'd come back.

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

We stayed four days in the condo and it was wonderful. For starters, Valentine offered to rent a motorbike for a very affordable price, and by the time we arrived, we had it available. Communication, perfect. He was very kind and responsive to any requests. The place, very clean and cared for. Despite not being on the front line, it was very well located. It's exactly like the photographs! Definitely highly recommended.

I cannot say anything bad about Hanuman Place's. I spent three weeks there and it was fantastic. I loved that the location is very local and the surroundings are beautiful and they have six dogs. :) From beginning until the end it was true Sri Lankan hospitality. I felt welcome from the first minute and did not want to leave. For sure I will be back for another visit! Also, if you get the chance to try the food they prepare, do it! It is the best food I've tried in Sri Lanka!

The villa matches the description exactly. The owner of the villa and his family are incredibly helpful and polite people. We are glad that we stopped with them. Our stay was completed with all amenities and comfort.

This was our first trip to Sri Lanka, and it was truly unforgettable! Nipuni was an incredibly kind and friendly host. She was always quick to reply and shared helpful recommendations. We were lucky to have a wonderful family dinner with Nipuni and her mom , they you cooked an amazing local dishes for us, and we had such a great time together. OMG we love her crepes!!! It was by far the best stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka — a whole floor of the house with a private entrance and terrace, clean and cozy rooms with air conditioning (a rare find in Sri Lanka ), comfy beds, a great kitchen, and a perfect quiet location away from the road noise. I highly recommend staying here, and I would love to come back again!

I had a really lovely stay here. It’s tucked away from the busy street but also close enough to walk there. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The room has everything you need. The host was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend :)

We were incredibly lucky to choose this villa. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more! A beautiful courtyard, a nice pool, a cozy room and all the necessary amenities! And also the most uncrowded and stunning beach next to the villa! But most of all we were captivated by the care and hospitality of the Duminda’s family! The first visit to Sri Lanka turned out to be unforgettable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and the parting gift conquered our hearts!😍

Jula and Suranga (whose house it is and who lives there with his lovely family) were super responsive and proactive in communication. The house is right across the street from the beach and just a few minutes' drive from nice places like Shanti Shanti or Wijaya Beach. Suranga and his family had prepared a welcome snack when we arrived and even invited us to a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast one morning. The apartment is on the top floor of Suranga's house and looks very much like in the pictures. Note that the stairs are a bit steep, but the place has a nice small kitchen and good rooms. Also, their neighbour Assanta was a super reliable Tuk Tuk driver while we stayed there.

One of those rare Airbnb finds that checks all of the boxes. Can't wait to stay again. The views from the top floor are amazing. Wild peacocks and monkeys hangout in the nearby palms. The railroad passes in the back where you can see it come and go (it's not loud, just adds ambiance). Direct views of the nearby surf break. Small neighborhood cafes and restaurants. Tuktuks always at the ready on the main road. Much better than staying in the slightly larger towns. The host family is extremely welcoming, warm, and kind. And who doesn't love a little puppy to play with?

We enjoyed our stay at Simon's place. The view from the accommodation is really superb. The accommodation is located not far from Dalawella beach which has good restaurants and several turtles. We were able to rent a scooter next to the accommodation and Simon had sent us multiple recommendations. The accommodation was clean and in all respects consistent with the description, we will return with great pleasure.

Kasun and Dileepa were fantastic hosts. We loved the flat, and the accomodation was perfect in a quiet neighbourhood near some beautiful beaches (walkable to Coconuts and Jungle Beach in under 10 mins). The location was also very convenient for accessing the main road and Kumbalgana railway station. Kasun was very helpful advising us on local transport and things to do, and Dileepa is a fantastic cook. Really can't recommend this place enough; clean, comfortable, and spacious flat in a much nicer area than the main stretch of Midigama.

A large manor with a very unique and beautiful environment. There are coconut groves, mango trees, and starfruit trees... The location is also very good. It's right next to the beach. The service is very welcoming. It feels like home. It's also very personalized. Because we came back late from whale watching, they gave us a house to check out late. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to stay at the hotel and enjoy such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it.

Nice apartment located 20 min from the surfing beach. top location. Quiet (no sounds from the street). The hosts were super nice and let me do late check out for free. Only the cleaning standards should be improved. All in all I recommend it!

Patrick is a great host who will help you with everything. He arranged a transfer for us to a villa, chose the best room for our needs and help with every query we had. He's always around when you need him and respects your privacy at the same time. The place is amazing for digital nomads (or people who would like to come here just to rest). Great wi-fi speed on every floor and at every place. We didn't need to be afraid of power cuts because of the generator which worked perfectly. The villa has an amazing view of the lake with a lot of palm trees with monkeys just next to you. Very nice pool which you can use 24/7 with fancy lights when it's dark. You can order tasty food at a very good price, which will be delivered to your laptop or to a place where you're chilling. Very good coffee (important especially for developers). The villa is away from the main road but at the same time just a 5-10 min bike/tuk-tuk ride from the market/wine store/atm. You would have 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you can buy coconuts or pineapples. Surf rental is just a few steps from there. People here are friendly and helpful. Sunil (who helps Patrick) can arrange a bike rental or anything you would need. Just come to experience it!

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
