We had the most amazing stay at this Donner Lake/Truckee gem! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip—plenty of towels, a well-stocked kitchen, and even ping pong and a hot tub. for the. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, but still close to downtown Truckee and all the outdoor adventures. We went hiking, shopping, and spent the day at West End Beach which is a 10 min drive . The hosts were super kind, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Highly recommend for families, people with pets (we brought our dog), or anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Sierra Nevadas. We can’t wait to come back!

A great, beautiful, place to stay. Grandparents, their children, and grandchildren in the area for daughter’s graduation from UNR, and we all were very comfortable in this spacious house. Beautiyarea to explore also. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Sol. It was a peaceful neighborhood close to beautiful trails but not far from Truckee and amenities. The house was super well maintained and clean with a desk set-up so I could work and fast internet! We loved the deck and natural light pouring into the home. Thank you for a great stay!

Blue Mountain Haus offers the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. With parking right in front of the unit and a shuttle to the village just two doors down. This beautifully remodeled unit in NorthStar at Tahoe feels like home. Thoughtfully decorated, it offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. The well-appointed kitchen has everything needed for the family chef, seamlessly connecting to the dining and family rooms for quality time together. The cozy living room features ample seating, a gas fireplace, and stunning snow-capped hillside views. A quaint balcony with a bistro table is perfect for coffee, wine, or simply enjoying the scenery. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with plush mattresses, soft linens, and fresh pillows. A stocked laundry area with new machines keeps up with outdoor adventures. Thoughtful details and communicative hosts made this our most memorable vacation rental. We can’t wait to return for another season of relaxation and adventure! Thank you, Chad!

David is the best host! He went out of the way to make check-in super easy for us which is so helpful for arrival on a snowy night with kids in tow. He's extremely accommodating to our questions and requests, and we really really appreciate how responsive he is both before and after the trip. His place is super close to the Northstar resort and is right on the shuttle route, it really can't be more convenient than that. All in all, highly recommend David's place. Thanks again for welcoming us into your home!

Great stay, would highly recommend. The hot tub was lovely and the kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook. The bed on the top floor was romantic and super comfortable as well.

Amazing lakefront property and best place we’ve stayed in Tahoe yet! Incredible views from the main living space. Ryan, the host was extremely accommodating and responsive our entire stay. The use of paddle boards and the dock was a hit with our kids. We paddled to Garwoods, a must on every visit for our family. We had everything we needed from beach towels to kitchen utensils & the bbq. We are very appreciative to Ryan & his family for sharing their lake house with us to make our own memories and we hope to return in the future!

Great place in a great and quiet part of town. The kitchen was great and the main space with the large windows was very impressive. Never used the deck since it was full of snow, but I imagine the place is wonderful in the warmer months as well. Would come back anytime.

Deana's place is great! Excellent location, very close to King Beach. Lovely decor, and Deana responds to messages very quickly. Highly recommended

Staying at Kourtney and Keith’s place could not have been more comfortable and enjoyable— the home was extremely clean, very well-stocked with every kitchen appliance/utensil we needed, and homey in every way. We especially enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and deck. They were very communicative and everything was seamless. I would LOVE to stay here again!!! I highly recommend :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Tahoe and absolutely will consider staying at the house again. The house was conveniently located to the stores, the lake and hikes and we enjoyed our time outside on the deck. The hosts were very responsive and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We didn’t use the sauna but enjoyed a hot tub in the evening after active days of hiking. Some reviews mentioned that the bathroom upstairs was tiny. However, we thought it was a good size and had no issues sharing it between two rooms upstairs. Overall, we loved the house and nice thoughtful touches throughout it.

It was a joy to spend our yearly family vacation at Michael's Kings Beach home! I was immediately struck by its excellent build quality and meticulous upkeep. Not only was the house roomy, comfortable, and immaculate, but the kitchen came fully stocked and the outdoor barbecue was perfect for grilling our steaks. Just a short walk from Kings Beach, we couldn't have spent our vacation in a better home! Thank you Michael! :)

We all absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin is beautiful and well maintained. The hosts were very communicative and provided us with guides to the area. There’s a Safeway right down the hill which was super convenient. The kitchen was EXTREMELY well stocked with all the supplies we could’ve needed which really made this place feel like home - not to mention the gorgeous windows where you could enjoy the view of the woods while prepping and cooking. We would definitely stay here again or check out another one of Tahoe Getaways rentals!

We had the most amazing time. The place was in the most perfect location and so incredibly peaceful. We loved being able to walk outside on the trail right behind the home. Al was so kind and helpful. He gave us so many great recommendations and was very responsive. We can’t wait to come back!

This home was perfect for our stay (3 adults, 3 kids)! The home is walkable to the beach, shops and food, which was extremely convenient and easy with kids. It was an easy flat walk too. The house has everything you need which was unexpected and great! Shower items in every bathroom, paper towels, cleaning supplies, beach items, a wagon, a high chair, toys for kids, books, and all cooking supplies you might need. Our family really enjoyed all of the games and puzzles that were at the house as well. There are fans and Google homes in every room, making bedtime with kids a breeze. The beds were comfortable with foam mattress toppers. The king room is very spacious and the other two rooms were comfortable as well. The owner was extremely responsive and made our stay so easy and smooth. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home. Everyone enjoyed their time and the house was very try close and convenient to a lot of good places.

Lauren’s home was well appointed, cozy and in a nice neighborhood. We were able to walk to the lake very easily with coffee and restaurants super close. The yard was fenced so it was perfect for our dogs. All in all we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Right from walking in, it felt like our home. Katie & Barbara had EVERYTHING we needed right down to an ice cream scoop. The place was spotless, as described and very, very comfortable. Newer appliances, beautiful counters in the kitchen and Katie even went out of her way to bring extra wash cloths over with some flowers. We even got to see a little bear strolling on bear st. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back again.

Lindsay & Ray were very communicative throughout our entire stay. The place was well located and easy to get to. It was comfortable, clean, had everything we needed and there was a grocery store close by for us to stock up. It felt spacious enough for 6 women and we enjoyed using the fireplace one of the evenings. The neighborhood was very quiet and calm…super peaceful.
