We absolutely had a lovely stay. The view was breathtaking, from waking up in the morning with coffee on the terrace to cozy dinner at home with the beautiful view. Simply amazing. The apartment bad everything you needed and more, ready to move in and has back up in case you forgot anything. Parking across the street was a big bonus. The location itself is amazing. Quiet cute town, easy to get in and out and it was centrally located to so many other destinations around the coast. If you’re a seafood loved there are amazing restaurants just downstairs on the water with true Sicilian seafood cuisine. the area. We will be back for sure.

We were very pleased with Damiano’s place. The flat is located right at the seafront. The street above the building was a bit noisy during the night but with windows closed we were able to sleep. We enjoyed the balcony to relax from daily trips. We even cooked one evening in the well equipped kitchen. Damiano was very responsive when we had a question. We highly recommend this place.

Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

Thank you to Rosario for her welcome, sympathy and responsiveness! We booked last minute, he quickly accepted and contacted us to agree on the check-in time. The apartment is located in a quiet residence, 10 minutes' walk from the seaside and in the center of the small town of Cannizzarro. Ideally located town, close to Catania (< 20 mins from the center by car or bus, 10 mins by train) and the main road that goes up to Messina or down to Syracuse. Etna is also close (South station 1900m to < 1h). A decisive criterion for us: the apartment has a private parking space for the rental car! Several shops nearby (pharmacy, local grocery store, post office, local bars, a few restaurants). Modern and very well-equipped apartment, the small outdoor garden is very nice. Grazie Mille!

The apartment is wonderful even in January in the rain and the terrance just amazing with views of the sunrise over the sea one side and a snow capped Mt Etna the other. Both Giuseppe and his mum, very helpful and generous hosts, with fridge stocked and breakfast food provided. Also the wi-fi is super fast and was great for working video calls and Netflix. Amazing modern apartment with a private beach! Very light and well-equipped. The highlight for me was the huge terrace, where I spent most of my time relaxing. The apartment is well located, with easy access to major tourist spots like Etna, Taormina, and Siracusa. There are plenty of cafes and bars nearby, and the best pastry shop in Catania is just a 10-minute walk away. Giuseppe and Valerio were incredibly responsive and friendly hosts. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Everything about this place was outstanding, but the absolute best was the hostess. She was so accommodating, checked in with us helped us book drivers and arrangements and went above and beyond. The apartment is beautiful. So well appointed and everything felt new and fresh and the location was central to everything. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to come back to Catania!!! I highly recommend that you stay here!!!

Everything was spotless clean! The host was very responsive and helpful!

The apartment, or rather a huge apartment, is impressive, clean, tidy, quiet neighborhood and this view from the terrace to the sea and Etna is impressive. A good starting point for visiting Catania and the east coast of Sicily. The only thing missing was a dishwasher in the kitchen, although this in no way affects the positive assessment of the apartment and the host, I recommend it with a clear conscience.

If you are looking for a spectacular view in Taormina this is the place to stay! It a short walk from the historic city center, but it is uphill so make sure to pack light or take a taxi for check in and check out (taxi was very quick). The house is in a quiet location and just a few minutes to a grocery for amenities. Would highly recommend staying for the view and historic character of the villa! Host was very helpful and responsive.

No complaints at all - we loved our stay here! The location is absolutely perfect and incredibly convenient for sightseeing in Catania, and the flat itself is lovely.

We stayed at Villa Lionti with our 7 month old baby for a week and it was the most perfect scenario for our holiday in Sicily with a baby. Maria Francesca’s staff were delightful from the very start and made available a travel cot, high chair and bedding plus toys in the pool to enjoy with our baby. Although the villa is not the easiest to get to (san Pietro Clarenza is very small with narrow streets), the amenities are absolutely spectacular and the place is a slice of heaven in Catania. The flat has everything you might need and we particularly appreciated the basics were made available to us in abundance (washing machine capsules, coffee, sugar, oil, washing up liquid, shampoo and body wash, etc) The air conditioning is a godsend and allowed us to sleep comfortably with a baby I’d recommend to anybody to get past the first glance of the town and actually go for breakfast/grab some food at the tavola caldas around because it’s amazing! Bar somma was a hit for us.

We absolutely loved our stay in Mascalucia and wished we stayed longer. The team was so sweet! Aurelio is the best and even surprised us with a traditional granita breakfast and arancini snacks. Their hospitality is unmatched. We absolutely loved the villa, the tranquility of the private garden in the back (with kumquats and lemons we could enjoy), the gorgeous pool area, multiple terraces for meals, and the games room! The town is also conveniently located, an easy distance from Catania airport and super close to Etna explorations. We used it as a great base to see Syracuse, Taormina, Etna, and Catania. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all our friends.

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

Gwendalina's place was exactly as pictured and very centrally located right next to the cathedral and the fish market. The terrace was a great addition. Gwendalina was also super proactive with check-in and was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Very nice, very clean, very good equipped and designed apartment. We can absolutely recommend to stay here! Beach, supermarket and good restaurants are available but ideally you have a car.

Virginie was one of the most helpful and proactive hosts we have come across at airbandb. She made booking in really easy and gave us lots of really useful information about the area. The apartment itself was much bigger than we expected. It was 5 star - clean, comfortable, quiet, great facilities. There were lovely places to eat and drink around the corner and we were able to walk to all the main areas. Thank you, Virginie!!

Amazing place to stay in the historic center of Catania. The place is very modern and cute, it was tidy and complied with the photos and description of the publication. The truth we were very surprised by this airbnb, we felt in a hotel room, the comfortable bed, the very rich shower and the spectacular jacuzzi. The kitchen is small but meets everything you need to spend a few days on vacation. Communication with Chiara was always very prompt and clear. I highly recommend!
