We absolutely had a lovely stay. The view was breathtaking, from waking up in the morning with coffee on the terrace to cozy dinner at home with the beautiful view. Simply amazing. The apartment bad everything you needed and more, ready to move in and has back up in case you forgot anything. Parking across the street was a big bonus. The location itself is amazing. Quiet cute town, easy to get in and out and it was centrally located to so many other destinations around the coast. If you’re a seafood loved there are amazing restaurants just downstairs on the water with true Sicilian seafood cuisine. the area. We will be back for sure.

Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. I had a wonderful holiday at Salvatore’s place – the location is truly beautiful, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The scenery is stunning, and the surrounding area offers a delightful experience with lovely restaurants and local services. The atmosphere is warm, and the welcome was genuinely heartfelt; I felt at home right away. Salvatore is a thoughtful and kind host who does his best to ensure guests feel comfortable. I also received help with some practical arrangements that we had agreed on in advance. I’ll carry fond memories of the unique charm and warmth of this place. We were very pleased with Damiano’s place. The flat is located right at the seafront. The street above the building was a bit noisy during the night but with windows closed we were able to sleep. We enjoyed the balcony to relax from daily trips. We even cooked one evening in the well equipped kitchen. Damiano was very responsive when we had a question. We highly recommend this place.

Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

Amazing stay at Roberta’s place :) wonderful views, great location, super clean and modern apartment, had everything you could need, and communication with Roberta was always great. We stayed 1 week but would have loved to stay even longer :) We will come back soon for sure!

Great apartment. Breakfast on the huge sun terrace overlooking the sea. From the roof terrace above the apartment, an even better view of the Cyclops rocks! Very pleasant welcome and farewell by the two caretakers Jano and Giuseppe! Large bedroom with a fully glazed corner with a great view. TVs with many German programs and even some German books. Plenty of information material from the entire area. A really pleasant and impressive stay!!! Thanks to both of the "caregivers"!

The apartment is wonderful even in January in the rain and the terrance just amazing with views of the sunrise over the sea one side and a snow capped Mt Etna the other. Both Giuseppe and his mum, very helpful and generous hosts, with fridge stocked and breakfast food provided. Also the wi-fi is super fast and was great for working video calls and Netflix. The apartment had everything you could need and I can't wait to be back and highly recommend. Thank you both and also for helping me improve my Italiano. .....Spero di rivederti presto! - Davide.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the photos. So thoughtfully decorated and finished. Do not be put off by the street entrance - once you open the door at the top of the stairs, so much beauty awaits. There are lovely restaurants very close by, and there is easy access to all the sights. Salvo was an exceptional host - responded quickly to messages and checked up on us frequently. Thank you for a memorable stay.

The apartment, or rather a huge apartment, is impressive, clean, tidy, quiet neighborhood and this view from the terrace to the sea and Etna is impressive. A good starting point for visiting Catania and the east coast of Sicily. The only thing missing was a dishwasher in the kitchen, although this in no way affects the positive assessment of the apartment and the host, I recommend it with a clear conscience.

Thank you to Rosario for her welcome, sympathy and responsiveness! We booked last minute, he quickly accepted and contacted us to agree on the check-in time. The apartment is located in a quiet residence, 10 minutes' walk from the seaside and in the center of the small town of Cannizzarro. Ideally located town, close to Catania (< 20 mins from the center by car or bus, 10 mins by train) and the main road that goes up to Messina or down to Syracuse. Etna is also close (South station 1900m to < 1h). A decisive criterion for us: the apartment has a private parking space for the rental car! Several shops nearby (pharmacy, local grocery store, post office, local bars, a few restaurants). Modern and very well-equipped apartment, the small outdoor garden is very nice. Grazie Mille!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sara House. The setting is stunning, and we really enjoyed spending our time around the pool during the day and walking into Taormina in the evening. It is a short 15 minute walk, albeit quite hilly but we found it a great way to walk off our dinner. Sara was an incredible host, very friendly and helpful whenever we needed her. Thank you for having us!

Sebastiano was very kindly and extremely attentive. The accommodation was spotless: the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. It had a wonderful over the sea from the terrace. The aircon worked well (when needed) and the property was equipped with everything you might need. Aci Trezza is delightful: bustling with access to the water and lots of restaurants.

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

Gwendalina's place was exactly as pictured and very centrally located right next to the cathedral and the fish market. The terrace was a great addition. Gwendalina was also super proactive with check-in and was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Stefano’s place. Perfect location close to everything and we loved having a drink on the terrace before dinner. Would 100% recommend.

This place is good located. Perfect for one or two people.

Great location in the middle of everything in Catania. The neighborhood is very vibrant, music and people all around, however it decreased in the evening and never interfered with our sleep. The hosts were very helpful pointing out attractions and entertainment, also recommendations for restaurants as well as grocery stores. Very close to the Piazza del Duomo, the shopping district on Via Etnea, Ursino Castle, Greek-Roman theater, as well as many fine restaurants. Less than 15 minute cab ride to the airport as well.

Very nice, very clean, very good equipped and designed apartment. We can absolutely recommend to stay here! Beach, supermarket and good restaurants are available but ideally you have a car.

Virginie was one of the most helpful and proactive hosts we have come across at airbandb. She made booking in really easy and gave us lots of really useful information about the area. The apartment itself was much bigger than we expected. It was 5 star - clean, comfortable, quiet, great facilities. There were lovely places to eat and drink around the corner and we were able to walk to all the main areas. Thank you, Virginie!!
