Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Aci Castello

We have been using Airbnb for many years now, so when we meet very good hosts we recognise them straight away. Agatino is naturally able to make you feel welcome, the villa is very elegant and the garden is very well maintained with a very nice view of the vignard. Nothing was missing inside the house and we actually didn’t know that breakfast was included, so a nice bonus. In other words we only stayed two nights but we wish we had stayed longer.I hope we will have a chance to come back again.

We had a lovely stay. The house is very comfortable, and the garden is gorgeous. Our children were able to play in the garden and swimming pool. If you want to sit a little outside the tourist hustle and bustle, and yet have all the amenities at your fingertips, this is ideal. We would like to come back.

The description exactly matches the accommodation, in fact, perhaps it doesn't do it justice. The outdoor area is sheltered by many trees, making it a pleasant place to enjoy the garden. Very clean house. Impeccable host.

We had a great stay in Tina’s place. Tina was always very helpful and very quick to respond to requests. The place is really peaceful and beautiful. To sit outside and listen to nightingales singing, scops owls calling at night and many more birds was fantastic. The only other noise was the bells on the cows as they came past the house to go for a drink. The flowers along the tracks are gorgeous. The place has a fantastic ambience. A wonderful relaxing retreat. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

The old cottage is surrounded by idyllic gardens, very quiet with a beautiful view of the sea to Calabria. It is carefully renovated and tastefully furnished, the kitchen is simple, but equipped with everything you need, the bathroom is large. At the end of May, the weather was still quite cool, but there was a heating option. Our rental car was a bit big for the steep driveway, so parking was a bit tedious. The contact with Orazio was great, thank you for our original stay!

Francesca and Enzo's little house is ideally located at the foot of Etna but also in a peaceful, pretty and very pleasant locality, with all the facilities. We had a great stay there to visit the entire east coast of Sicily. Francesca is particularly attentive and gives very good advice. We highly recommend it to travelers who seek calm, authenticity and contact.

Everything was fine. It's a cosy and quiet place and we enjoyed our stay. Giuseppe is a friendly and helpful host who knows the area well and can give recommendations for hiking tours. So grab your hiking boots and go there! The volcanic nature is really impressive!

Had an amazing two month stay in this place. The apartment is spaceous and centrally located, I felt right at home. Lisania and her husband were very welcoming and provided fresh linens throughout my stay.

Salvo's villa is exactly as it is described and shown in the pictures - clean, well-equipped and tastefully designed both inside and out. Highlighted is the great communication with Salvo himself - which felt responsive at any time of day or night. The pool and garden have been cleaned and maintained several times during our stay. We have nothing to complain about and highly recommend this property.

Helgas place exceeded our expectations. We had family of 7 and the apartment is spacious and very comfortable with an amazing view . The location is quiet whilst being only a few minutes walk from the town centre . We had a problem with the shower head and it was sorted within a couple of hours . Great service . We were enchanted by the fantastic view and wonderful nature around us. In a quiet environment, we were able to relax and make great excursions. The accommodation has everything you need and is very cozy. We especially liked the large glass front and the mural in the bathroom. Cinzia was very friendly, helpful and always available. The road to the farm is bumpy but easily passable.

I stayed at Francesca's place for a week. The house is in a perfect location, very close to lidl, supermarkets and shopping centers. Just 10 minutes by car from the center of Catania (for the type of trip I had in mind it was a perfect house) plus it is slightly raised on a hill, and on the warm days of August we had the pleasure of breathing some fresh air! 15 minutes from the house are also beautiful sea areas (such as "the caves of Ulysses"). Francesca is very helpful and open to dialogue! Overall a positive experience!!

Rocca’s place was incredible! The view from the balcony and the kitchen were unbeatable and although it’s inside of a complex, it still feels very secluded. You are a 5ish min walk away from the main shopping/dining area of Taormina which is nice and the pool was also incredible! Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Taormina.

Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

Marco’s villa was just what we needed. We were two elderly couples, with lots of traveling experience. We needed a place with two bedrooms and two baths, and this villa fit the bill. Outside, the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. It was only a couple of minutes drive from the center of town. The villa had a beautiful garden around it, which made it peaceful. The villa was clean and comfortable, and gave us space when and where we needed it. The kitchen was fully operational but we only needed the basics, which Marco had provided. All in all an outstanding experience.

This was the most magical Airbnb experience ever. Guiseppe and Giulia are the most hospitable Hosts I have ever come into contact with. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The villa is incredible with massive outdoor grounds to enjoy and a very beautiful large deep clean pool. Inside the villa is exactly as described but better! They were gracious and filled the fridges with many drinks to enjoy. They met us at the toll booth and escorted us to the villa and then drove us around town later to familiarize ourselves to the area and provided many dining recommendations. They were even so kind as to make reservations under their family name and deliver the most amazing desserts I have ever had! The location of the villa is perfect for day trips to Savoca and Taormina and surrounding areas. To have such a beautiful peaceful villa to return to made this our own slice of heaven! I would return in a heart beat. Thank you Giuseppe and Giulia for the most amazing stay.

Just about the closest accomodation you will find to Etna! It's a couple of miles off the main road that's a little bumpy in places but well worth the effort. A wonderfully peaceful house set in well maintained, spacious grounds (sit in the shade and soak up the wonderful view!) that is surprisingly cool in hot weather thanks to the thick lava walls. Nunzio couldn't be more helpful and was always contactable. Just be aware there is a resident (very friendly) dog as well as several cats.

It was an unforgettable experience. The location was stunning. It was a real pleasure to stay there. The people who welcomed us were incredibly kind. Everything was very clean. The hosts kept checking in to make sure we were doing well and helped us with all our questions. We are truly grateful for this experience. We highly recommend this place to everyone.

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

I stayed at Sandra’s home with two of my close friends for 5 days and we just loved our time there. Sandra helped us book a private chef and we dined outdoors overlooking a breathtaking view of the countryside and sea. The home is situated perfectly to explore (with a rental car) Taormina, Siracusa/Ortigia, Mt. Etna, wineries, and other lovely towns. The pool and gardens were unreal — especially because the whole region is peaceful, birds chirping and a quiet breeze. I would be so lucky to stay in Sandra’s home again!
