Holiday rentals with a sauna in Aare

Me and my boyfriend André spent 4 days here. The apartment location is amazing and the apartment itself had everything we needed! The check in process was easy and the communication with our host Martin was quick via the airbnb app. We are so pleased with our stay here! We highly recommend it to others.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Nicolas and Sandra’s place in Leukerbad. The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located with amazing views. The hosts were thoughtful and communicative, and everything was exactly as described—if not better. I felt completely at ease during my visit and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

A well outfitted apartment with everything needed for a few days' stay. Very peaceful country setting in quiet surroundings, with goats, cows and llamas/alpacas nearby. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival Bernhard provided ideas of things to do and places to go/avoid. There's a little rack with a number of brochures for hikes, attractions, etc. We opted to walk from/to the train station rather than take the taxi (25-30 CHF) each way. You may wish to use the taxi upon arrival if you have much baggage and/or to get a sense of direction initially. The walk does take about 25-30 minutes on a paved surface, as noted in the apartment's description, and involves some hills along the way, of course. Factor this into your daily plans. The sauna was a nice touch at the end of the day. Very easy to manage with the instructions provided upon arrival. Train schedule was very convenient with minimal waiting time throughout the day. Overall, a great stay.

The biggest plus with Julia’s place was her instructions concerning check-in. I have NEVER had more clear, detailed, step by step, instructions. It was incredible. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and the view was breathtaking. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The walk to the falls was easy and we hiked the trails behind the complex as well. Check in and check out was a breeze. Julija’s place was worth every penny or franc!

We had the most amazing stay. Rebecca and Tony were the loveliest hosts, ensuring we had all the information we needed for our adventures (which were wonderful and aplenty). We’re so grateful to the whole family for making our stay so welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful property and to explore the local area. It really is an enchanting place, lush and green with so much to see and do. We were struck by the rich biodiversity of the region and how quiet and pristine it is. As a family who are passionate about nature and enjoy nothing more than spending time together outdoors, this was the prefect base. The property is nestled amongst tree-covered hills with beautiful wildflower meadows spanning the valley and you’ll find a stream at the bottom of the garden. The balcony offers dreamy views out towards the picturesque landscape where you can enjoy the soothing soundtrack of birds, the bells of the goats on the hillside and the stream. A little slice of paradise!

It all starts with a small climb into the forest to reach a wonderful place. Margrit welcomed us and it was very nice that she lived in the same place so she could connect with her. We had a great time strolling through this nature reserve, contemplating the flora and fauna. Great place to rest, relax. Thanks to Margrit.

Impeccable cleanliness of the accommodation, the apartment is spacious, bright and in a small quiet residence, the accommodation matches the photos, everything is available, shower gel, shampoo, bathrobe, towel, everything smells clean, fresh 🤩 water, coffee, tea, the sauna and the hot tub are great, you forget EVERYTHING for a few hours, I recommend it. Dirk can't do anything about the weather. For this, you can enjoy the cozy apartment in rainy weather, Dirk and Sandra have taken care of that. I was able to spend a great holiday week and can recommend the apartment with a clear conscience.

We loved our stay at Rudolf and Evelyn’s place. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and immaculately presented, with so many thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for exploring the Berner Oberland and we loved the peaceful setting for relaxing evenings. We would definitely recommend!

Very nice apartment with great views. The apartment is very audible, so we heard the neighbors into the night. The rooms are very clean. There's nothing wrong with it. 😊 There was everything you need in terms of furnishings. Unfortunately, the weather did not play along and we could not use the beautiful balcony. A very friendly host. Very quick to respond. 👍 We enjoyed it very much.

I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s this is a standout first class apartment with plenty of space for 3 of us and right next to the main gondola lift. If there was anything (and this is being mega critical) the foldout bed in the top bedroom is very uncomfortable and maybe only suitable for younger children. Our 12 Y/O was pretty happy but definitely not usable for an adult. Swimming pool was a nice touch although the lovely new Sauna is also nice please be aware brits it’s no swimwear so leave your inhibitions behind !!!

What a surprising gem! You enter an alley on a busy thoroughfare and when you open the door you find peace. Beautiful view of the lake, quiet and very nice! A nice base from which to explore the region. Recommend!

The previous evaluations have raised high expectations, which have been consistently met. Everything that has been written so far is true! The prepared hiking trails are particularly great, some of which start right at the house. After hiking, relaxation in the sauna, then a cozy evening in the beautiful apartment. Only one disadvantage: we were there for too short a time! So only recommended, and indeed host and holiday home, you live and live effectively as on cloud 7.

the rose hut is a true haven of peace in the middle of a heavenly environment Very clean accommodation with everything you need. the spa is a real plus after beautiful hikes pleasant communication with Aurélie you are in the middle of splendid landscapes we recommend the Alfed Lake, the Auberge des Fontaines restaurant and hiking to the Ballon d'Alsace, and the Saut de l'Ognon and its waterfall a perfect stay 👍

Sebastien responded quickly to our messages, communication was easy, not complicated and friendly, we felt comfortable. The cottage was as described, clean, very, very well-equipped (better than described), the view was magnificent, and the sauna and jacuzzi were great. In short, a lovely vacation for us.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

We were there with the family and the grandmother. The house offers enough space for everyone :) The location is awesome; in 2 minutes at the lake (via the meadow). Large terrace with morning sun! We made the trip with public transport. That's possible, the bus runs every hour in both directions. Without luggage, the station can be reached in 20 minutes, with luggage it is more like 30 minutes.

A very nice place, larger than expected. Perfect for relaxing after strenuous hiking tours in the mountains.

According to our employees, a really nice accommodation, where nothing was missing. They come to everyone again.
