Barn holiday rentals in Aare

The accommodation was clean and it had enough space for us 8 people. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need. Instructions were clear and simple. Sandra always responded quickly when we had a question and she even found a nearby bratwurst stand for us and documented it with pictures. Thank you very much for that! It is a quiet place, which we were also looking for. What should be specified in more detail is where the disposal for the garbage in the village is. But that's also the only thing we could "complain about". Thank you very much for letting us come by. All the best.

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was just the perfect size for our family-cozy yet spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The garden was a real highlight: beautifully kept and very welcoming, a great space for both kids and adults to relax. Everything was spotless and clean, and the quiet surroundings made it ideal for our children’s bedtime. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, from the essential drinks that were provided to the baby crib offered for our little one. These details really made a difference and showed how much care went into hosting 🤗 Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay! My best friend and I stayed two days in this little haven of peace to study away from the city. The view is beautiful and it is very quiet. There is an Intermarché 10 min walk away.

The accommodation is a very lovingly renovated cottage from an old barn, as is typical for the Lötschental. The pictures give a good impression of it. Bright and very spacious and equipped with everything you need. There were only two of us, but even for four there is enough of everything (e.g. dishes, cutlery, space). Bakery and pub (Dorfkeller) are close by. We did not meet Ole and Silvia personally, but communication was always quick and easy and self-check-in via the key box was convenient because we could not determine our arrival time in advance. With the guest card, which is valid for every booked day, you get great discounts (e.g. bus, gondola, museum, mini golf free of charge). Also recommended are the audio tours in the villages. We were particularly pleased with the personal welcome :-)

We were cross-country skiing and enjoyed the location right by the train station and nearby trails. The place is very nice and practical! In the large garage, in addition to the car, there is also space for skis and sleighs. For our 3 year old it also had many toys and books to discover... We will be happy to come back...

Jo's house is compact but very well cared for, clean and with everything you need for a stay in the region. The location is lovely with lake views and not far from the mountains.

we stayed with Marianne and Christoph for five days with our grandfather and had a wonderful time, the accommodation and the outdoor area are great, the communication worked out great and we go home with nice impressions and recovered, we are happy to recommend this accommodation

Doris & family have a fabulous, private and serene Airbnb in one of the most heavenly places in Switzerland. If you love fresh air, wide open spaces, walks through the hills and fields all encompassed by local charm and country life, then this is the place for you. The rental has everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing stay with super comfy beds, sizeable spotless bathrooms and a great place to cook and enjoy your family. They were very responsive, helpful and a wealth of local information. There’s a grocery store within walking distance from the rental with everything you need for your visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We spent a wonderful Pentecost weekend for two in the Spycher. The accommodation was very spacious, but beware of the lower beams. The wood creates a pleasant atmosphere with the direct & indirect lighting. It has something adventurous with toilet/shower and kitchenette outside. Angela was a great host and we can only recommend the accommodation. We will definitely come back ourselves. Top Weekend! Regards, Ana

Sarah was incredibly kind and helpful! She always responded promptly and helped us with all our requests! The place is really spacious, new and modern. Absolutely recommended for families, even with very young children. The bathroom is huge and the kitchen is very well stocked. We'd love to come back in the future.

Everything was wonderful. It’s a place I would love to stay again when I visit Switzerland next time.

A fantastic chalet, immaculate inside and out. The owner was engaging from the point of entry and responded immediately when we encountered a minor issue. Despite being out the country on holiday, he resolved the issue without delay. 5 star property with a 5 star host.

Elena’s three-storey apartment ( we used only 2) was nice, well equipped with a special atmosphere where we felt at home from the very beginning. The apartment is at a great suburb environment with easy access to the city centre - by tram or train - and several shops, supermarkets and restaurants around. Elena immediately answered our questions and helped us with instructions. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others.

A beautiful, large house and very tastefully furnished. But the terrace was our absolute highlight! Even in the rain you can linger outside. However, the house is not very suitable for holidays without a car. The post bus stops right in front of the house, but it only runs on weekdays, three times in the morning, once at noon and once in the evening. Sylvain and his family are very attentive and generous hosts. Warm thanks for your trust🌞!

Rossella was a great host, available before our arrival to give us the information, including tourist information, we needed for our stay. Everything turned out to be useful. Once there, Rossella was available, considerate, concerned about our well-being as well as that of our little dachshund dog, while being discreet. The premises are impeccably clean, absolute calm. Kimba, her faithful Golden Retriever, is gentle with her mistress's guests and friendly with other dogs. In short, we loved it and found in Rossella a new friend whom we will be happy to see and host again. Jean and François
