Great location right on the lake. Wonderful amenities. Directly across from the Villette VD train stop. The house was beautiful, clean, and felt like home. The views were amazing. My husband, myself, daughter and son in law had plenty of room. It was great to be able to have a full kitchen too. Incredible trip!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We felt comfortable from the first minute with a welcoming host and an apartment with a really well thought out level of equipment - everything you need without clutter. Its in a very quiet and green area while still being very well linked with public transport to Lenzburg and Aarau. The bus stop and train station are both walkable and there are two small supermarket in walking distance that have all the necessities and more.

I love the lake view! I was able to enjoy a view that was more impressive than the photos. I was a little lost about check-in and parking, but I was able to solve it by reading the guide link sent by the host! It was nice that the location was very close to the Spitz Castle and the lake. Some of the cooking ingredients were a little old, but other than that, it was well-equipped, so I was able to stay comfortably. If you want to enjoy the lake view from Spitz, I recommend it!

Thank you for hosting us. It was a nice stay. The cottage is clean. A great quiet place with a magnificent view from both sides. The host was kind. She let the kids feed the antelopes. I would highly recommend this cottage.

We had a great time staying here. The views are amazing and the cabin is very cosy, very well laid out and really well equipped for cooking as well as with games, books, maps and activities for children. We visited in early June which was a great time with lots of lovely alpine flowers. Most of the walking routes were accessible although there was still quite a bit of snow on some of the higher paths in the area. Just to point out since we didn't realise, Swiss plugs are different to those in many other European countries and so you need to bring the correct adaptors if coming from outside Switzerland. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Looking for a quiet place to stay with that certain something, we finally spent New Year's Eve at Lamahof. Not only our dog Hope could enjoy the few days, far away from fireworks and firecrackers. My husband and I were also able to relax between wood-burning stoves, country house charm and many cheeky llamas and other farm animals. Thanks Karin and Family for the wonderful experience.

Our stay at Maria’s place was heavenly! So beautiful and inviting. The apartment was decorated beautifully and it was very comfortable. The views of the mountains were spectacular and the sound of the river was very enjoyable! Maria was so kind and attentive. I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to spend my 60th birthday! The walk to the train station was a beautiful walk. Such a charming town. We would love to return one day! Thank you Maria for everything!

It's as pretty and clean as the photos However, due to the nature of the wooden chalet, there are many flying insects, so it was a pity that the windows were not opened well, and the noise between the floors was quite severe, so I had to sleep with earplugs. There are only towels for one day (2 big, 2 small), but I've stayed in other Swiss accommodations, but I think everyone gives them that way unless it's a hotel. The weather was nice, and the biggest advantage of this accommodation was the washing machine, so I used the towels and hung them out to dry while I was out. There was also a towel review, so I bought a few disposable towels (coin towels) and used them. It was a 10-minute walk to the nearby Kupmart, and it was close to the Seoyeok, so it was easy to get around. ➡️Overall, I was very satisfied, and there is a pretty village behind the house as well as the downtown area, so be sure to walk and soak your feet in the glacier water and take a break!!! There were also many locals who didn't even go to the Tun Lake and swam there!

Natalie is wonderful person. She came to pick us up from the train station which was so helpful. She then gave us an overview of the place with clear instructions. The house is wonderful, it has a cottage cozy feel which the kids loved. Clean and tidy, comfy beds. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking. Location is the excellent, amazing views, and close to station for train, bus and gondola rides making it very convenient. We will definitely stay here again. 10/10

We had a very nice time with Rita. My 6-year-old daughter was very warmly received by Rita and taken directly to the farm. There, she is allowed to drive a small tractor. There was also a small wooden farm and other small toys in the apartment. So, for a vacation with children, it's just really nice. I can therefore highly recommend it.

We booked the accommodation for a family weekend, 8 adults and 9 children. It was the perfect time to enjoy the time with fun and games, we could let our children play in the large garden with a safe feeling. All the equipment was available and Martin was always available with advice and help. We especially liked the evenings in the open air, which we enjoyed in the pavilion and the children could watch a football game on the big screen. We highly recommend this location.

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne. Communication with Katya was very smooth, she was always friendly and helpful. We left already wanting to come back!

Christine was very helpful and thoughtful in making our stay as pleasant as possible. The home was equipped with activities and toys to keep our little daughter engaged which was a pleasant surprise.

Such a gem! Perfect location to explore the areas around Lake Brienz and easy access to Grindelwald and Interlaken. Erika left great instructions about everything in the area and the building had great amenities. Nice safe parking spot for your car. The area was peaceful and quiet just a short walk away from the lake with a private swim area. Wish we had more time!

Great place, great location. Thanks to Odile and Jeanne for their kindness. The bedding is quality and the setting is very peaceful while being very close to amenities. As for the view, it's really superb, which allows for a total change of scenery even inside. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

Filippo was great and very responsive! He is an amazing host and we were happy to stay at his property. Any questions we had, he would always answer them quickly and he checked-in on us from time to time which we appreciate. I would recommend you come with a car, but if you don't have one it is still a nice place to stay if you're okay with walking uphill for 15 minutes (which we did and had no major issues). Overall, great area to be in if you do not want to stay in the city and want to take a more scenic and quiet approach while still have access to the train!
