Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Zollernalbkreis

Myself and my wife traveled from the uk to Christian’s property in rexingen in may 2025 , self check in was easy with a lock box containing the key to the property, Christian was always on hand to answer any questions I had. The home was spotlessly clean and as described in the listing , We felt at home straight away , Everything you need for a stay is provided , Towels , iron , washing machine , tumble dryer bed linen etc etc , It was like home from home , The area is quiet and peaceful because the property is set in a quiet location , most Black Forest attractions are a hours drive or you can take a 5 minutes walk from the property and you are within the forest with various nature walks of different lengths to choose from all starting from the property if you choose not to drive , We had a lovely evening meal in Horb at morgenland but would recommend you book in advance , A lovely weeks stay we had here and would recommend this accommodation,

An amazing house that has been renovated with a lot of love and still has a lot of charm. The private spa/wellness area is second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for: spacious, very clean, quiet and furnished with a lot of comfort. You feel right at home! We especially liked the diverse hiking opportunities right on the doorstep - perfect for nature lovers. It is also very pleasant for families with children: plenty of space, a safe environment and simply a relaxed atmosphere. We will be happy to come back!

This is one of the most sparkling-clean airbnbs I have ever stayed at! The kitchen was equipped with basic items, but had everything we needed to prepare and eat our meals. The fireplace was wonderful after lots of outdoor activities in the cold! My only concerns are that the master bedroom bed is extremely uncomfortable (my husband agrees) and makes a lot of noise every single time you move…and if you are staying in the master bedroom, you must walk through the second bedroom to get anywhere else in the unit. This was fine for us and our two young kids, but if you are traveling with another couple or teenagers who enjoy their privacy, this would be an inconvenience. Overall, this unit is spacious and centrally located to many fantastic sights! We used this unit as our base for visiting Schloss Lichtenstein, Schloss Sigmaringen, and Schloss Hohenzollern. For what we paid, I consider this unit an amazing value!

We had a fantastic stay and a real wow effect when we entered the house on the 3rd floor. Everything is new and modern, super chic and sparkling clean. With a group of 8 adults, we had everything we needed and could even spontaneously have a barbecue. Carolin responded very quickly to messages and was extremely accommodating. I can 100% recommend a stay here! :)

we had a lovely low stress stay. we enjoyed the cats and it was easy to find and the hosts were lovely.

A great place to stay and a host.

Before check-in, short and clear communication by email; via key box also possible late check-in; a bottle of water and apple juice was found as a small welcome greeting (super nice gesture); everything was completely clean; kitchen offers all the utensils to take care of yourself; I also liked the quiet environment and the beautiful natural landscape; all in all, I was completely enthusiastic about the accommodation " Unter dem Hirschberg"; I can recommend the accommodation without exception and would book it again at any time; on this way I wish the "landladin" all the right to think well for the future

We really enjoyed our stay at Elke's Airbnb. The apartment is perfect for 2 to 3 People. We felt right at home in the apartment and everything in the apartment was perfect. The kitchen is really good and fully equipped with everything, we even cooked our meals few times. The area and surrounding is really peaceful and beautiful. The location of the apartment is also perfect and we also enjoyed peaceful evenings. Elke and Thomas both are really nice guests. Elke always responed promptly and tried her best to make sure that we feel like home, she also even provided us Bed and High chair for our little daughter. I would really recommend this Place and we would definitely come back again next time.

It was pleasant to stay at Ute's, Ute is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Ute's accommodation. I would like to say the following to future guests with a car: If you stay here between 4 pm and 7 pm, please drive slowly, as the speed limit is 30 km/h. The sun shines very brightly in the evening, and you may hardly see the 30 km/h speed limit sign. There are radar cameras nearby on the roads, and you can easily get a fine.

We only slept here one night, but it was a very nice place. Very spacious and clean, everything you need is present and we were very kindly received. There is a small bakery/supermarket within walking distance through the small, friendly village, where they have very tasty sandwiches. Jens and Tina have different recommendations regarding restaurants and were very friendly and quick in communication.

As a family with 2 infants (3 years + 1y), we felt very comfortable. Everything was in great condition and we had enough space to have a few nice days. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. They were always there for questions. Highly recommended and we will be happy to come back if needed.

Peaceful location, beautiful environment and apartment. Really good restaurant just around the corner. I was able to park in front of the house.

Great space perfect for the one night we needed

We stayed there for 1 night and slept well. The kitchen is nice too! We had problems getting in for a while, but that was also resolved very quickly.

What a fantastic place to stay! The loft had everything you could ever need or want…even little things like sandwich bags and a free welcome drink were provided. The loft was spacious yet felt cosy. It was in a quiet area yet less than a 15 minute drive from Baden Baden. There are plenty of walks straight from the accommodation, or in and around the area. We also visited Europa Park which was about an hour away but easy to do and for anyone that loves waterparks or theme parks these are amazing! We would love to come again one day.

Arne and Christine are perfect and accommodating hosts! The accommodation was very clean, the quiet location beautiful and the view of the lake unique.

I liked it because the house was so tidy. They were considerate of us so that we could comfortably use the first floor as a private room while traveling with our family. When I needed help, they came right away and solved it, and the chat response was fast~~. Both of them were so kind. I booked it again on the last day of my trip~~:) Always happy. Thank you.

Beatiful place, amazing view. I highly recommend staying at this place, the host ia very attentive and provides lots of instructions. Check in is digital so you can arrive at any time at no extra charge. The views are breathtaking. The place is very very well decorated, very modern and extremely clean. Has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Nice spacious studio in the middle of the Black Forest. The studio is located on the ground floor of the hosts house, near the main road of Mitteltal, which was ideally located to start hikes and bike rides. With the Schwarzwald Plus card you can also use the bus for free to go to the start of hikes/activities in the region. Mitteltal has one very little supermarket and some bakeries and restaurants in walking distance (5-10 min). If you want some more options, Baiersbronn has some bigger supermarkets and more restaurants in 10 min by car. The sauna was a very nice addition on the rainy days. The bed was comfortable, the studio was very quiet and dark with the roller shutters down. The shower was also very nice. The host was very friendly and informative. We appreciated the parking spot in front of the house and the fact that we could park our racing bikes in the garage. We would recommend this studio for a peaceful trip to the Schwarzwald.

A great place to stay and enjoy the region. You can stay at home, cook some food, enjoy some wine, the nice view from the terrace and some animals around. Or you can go and explore the region because there is lots to do. You will get advice and tips from the kind hosts and they will leave you to it. Such a nice place and a perfect accommodation to stay for a while. Just mind your head every now and then because of the ceiling 😉 Would totally recommend!

We had a very nice week and a half. Only the kitchen and the refrigerator were smaller than expected; but no problem. The attic room in particular was an inviting place to read and play.
