Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Zarzal

Place was nice and roomy. Lots of space! We had enough room for our one friends to show a few of the couples in our group how to swing dance. View in the front and back of the place were awesome, especially of the rainforest in the back! Things to know: Lots of mosquitoes, make use of the zappers provided! Air conditioner in the kitchen doesn’t do a great job of keeping that area and the dining area cool. Everywhere else, the a/c worked great! 1 bathroom has no hot water, and during our a stay, a second bathroom was also unable to get hot water. So, the only bathroom with hot water was in the master bedroom, which wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t that much of a problem except for night showering. During the day, the sun must have kept the ground so warm that the water was still lukewarm and not too cold. You may get suddenly told about scheduled landscape and other maintenance techs that you will have to leave the gate unlocked for them to get in.

We rented this place as a group of 4 couples. Major plus to how well the space was maximized. Also, highly recommend getting a car, but Uber is available in the area. Even as a group of 8, there was plenty of space for all combos of us. There were various types of spaces you can use to listen to loud music, relax, play games, all without feeling like you're cramped or disrupting someone. The acoustics of the home were also a major plus. Someone could be sound asleep upstairs while a group played loud music by the pool. All the bedrooms had sound resistant doors. If you're looking to be close to nature focused excursions, access less crowded beaches, be in a more down to earth area, while also being close to San Juan (about 40 minute drive) this is definitely the place for you.

The place was exactly as described, very clean and welcoming. Amenities for everyone in the group. There was no getting board at this place. The outside kitchen and pool area was a huge plus. We enjoyed every bit of this house. Hosts were extremely helpful and answered within minutes when we had any questions or concerns. This will definitely be our place of choice whenever we return to Puerto Rico!!! Recommend 100%!

Daniel & Ana were very responsive. We had a few hiccups but things were taken care of promptly. The location is not on maps so there is only longitude and latitude used for directions, which after understanding it’s in 600 acres of private land it made sense. The big brown gate was easy to use and created even more security and privacy. It was great with lots of trails in the facility next door that does horse back riding, forest atv riding, restaurants, and more. We were fortunate to have bumped into Daniel and he took us on a quick ride into the acres of the estate. Incredible! We will most definitely return. Also note you are in horse territory, so there are stables everywhere including down the hills of the estate. They are all private residences so vacationers should be respectful of the people taking care of the horses. Our only minor bummer were noseeums. Mosquito spray was provided - you are in a rainforest - but honestly we didn’t have many. Definitely would recommend!

Our stay at this property was absolutely beautiful! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the pool and the incredibly comfortable bed—it made our trip even more relaxing. Even with the unexpected island-wide power outage, the experience was still amazing. The host was outstanding—super responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond, especially when my son’s birthday ice cream cake was ruined due to the outage. She made sure he still felt special, and that meant so much to us. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. We’re giving it a solid 5 stars and would definitely stay again!

Pedro and Marisol were exceptional hosts from the first inquiry to after we had checked out. They were so attentive and helpful, even sourcing a Christmas meal for my family as we arrived late at night on the Holiday. They had set the table specially for Christmas dinner and their passion and care for the property throughout was evident. It was comfortable, not too much decor and not overly themed. The aesthetics were appropriate for the property while clean and simple. We found the property spotless! The check in process was tricky, until we carefully reread the instructions, where Marisol and Pedro walked us through. I appreciated the security of the property, I was traveling alone with my kids and felt incredibly safe. The kitchen is well stocked, and we made use of the two kitchens for meals at home. Plenty of space to spread out, and the views of el Yunque from the balcony were stunning. The gentleman who came to care for the horses was respectful of our space and no issue.

We had a great stay! Was a great location, walking distance to Playa Azul and short drive to Luquillo Beach (and easy to get to El Yunque). Plenty of amenities to keep us and our toddler entertained!

Great place. Sylvia is the best. Location is out of the way to base your adventures. The beach access is closed because of erosion so you’ll have to go elsewhere to get to the water.

Wow!!!! What a beautiful place! The view is just stunning. The sound of nature is incredible. The house is so cute, clean and very cozy. Easy check in and check out. To get there it is a little bumpy but it is worth it! Beautiful bathroom, shower and the A/C super nice! We only stayed one night but when we come back will stay longer! Recommend 100%.

Dawn was a great host & provided lots of helpful information. The room & location were fabulous. View & pools were amazing. Staff were very friendly. Great location to get to other attractions. Unfortunately we did have 1 issue - we had bed bugs. When we told the host Dawn she was very responsive. However, when we told the front desk person they were a bit rude & dismissive. Otherwise the place was amazing & would love to stay again. Thanks Dawn!

Our first trip to PR and we had a great time. The studio was exactly as described and the resort area was even better than the pictures. 3 pools, one adult only, and the beach area was pristine! Nice golf course on the property. Multiple restaurants on site, we ate at Roots and the food was delicious. We also had lunch by the pools, two different lunch spots/menus and we tried both- excellent food and drinks. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It's across the street from the rain forest so we spent a morning hiking and one morning exploring old San Juan. We also tried a couple of local restaurants and food was great! We definitely recommend getting a car. John was a super responsive host throughout the process. It is part of a resort, Wyndham/ Margaritaville, so even though we had a 4PM check-in we didn't get our room until 5:30. This seems to happen at every resort we go to, so be prepared to wait. We just grabbed some cocktails and snacks by the pool.

Great pools, beach acess, lots of restaurants and things to do on property. Wonderful place& kind host!

Our family stayed for 6 nights. We were cool and comfortable. Close to the wedding venue we were in Puerto Rico for. Great stay.

Yomary's place was excellent. It was easy to find and conveniently located near restaurants, the beach, and shops. The area felt very safe, and the accommodation had everything you need for a great stay. It was also very clean. Yomary is an outstanding host who communicated exceptionally well throughout my stay. I highly recommend her place; as a host, she deserves a perfect 10/10 rating.

The best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It’s surrounded by nature, it’s absolutely gorgeous, it felt like home, it has everything and more. Loved the sound of nature at night. I loved everything about this Airbnb.

This was a dream come true. The place is magical, great escape from the noise walked to the cabin we were looking for. Nearby markets if you need to, but if you bring your food this house has it all you'll not need to go out and won't want to leave.

We stayed at this wonderful property to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The home had everything we needed it was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked. It felt like a perfect getaway. The absolute highlight was the heated pool we spent so much time relaxing and enjoying it, especially in the evenings. It made our stay feel extra special and luxurious. We’re so glad we chose this place for such a meaningful milestone. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed home with a fantastic pool!

I had a fantastic stay at Marilyn's Airbnb in Gurabo, Puerto Rico! The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking, and the ambiance is serene and welcoming. Marilyn and her husband Johnny were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. I can't wait to come back and visit again!

I loved the place. When I arrived, my husband and I spent a few minutes processing what we were experiencing. We've never had such a brutal CLICK with an Airbnb. It's impressive, better than what you see in the photos.

A quiet place surrounded by nature. It makes you feel at peace. I asked her to decorate for the birthday celebration and Ashley (the girl who cleans the airbnb) decorated it and every detail I asked her to do was beautiful. Everything was clean, I loved the campfire.

Best place to stay Melanie and her family make us welcome all the times even the cats especially pancho. I like animals and when I saw her chickens I was so excited because bring me to my childhood. This place is so peaceful and quiet. Place was clean and cozy . Me and my husband are in love with the cabin. We pass 2 beautiful weeks in this cabin. Next time I come back to my island I will stay again here .
