Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ystad

We loved this home, and Mats was a truly wonderful host. His gracious hospitality made us feel so welcome, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay, even finding a bike trailer for our young boys to enjoy and stocking the kitchen with thoughtful treats just for them. The house itself is cozy, comfortable, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and set in a gorgeous forested area close enough to the sea to hear the waves from the back porch. Our stay was so relaxing and we can’t wait to return for another lovely holiday!

We spent a few days for NYE at Bibi's amazing cottage by the beach. Our dog loved the surrounding, perfect for relaxing long walks. We loved the very comfortable bed, with a huge tv to enjoy and cozy fireplace by the couch to unwind on. Here you can find everything you need (washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, smart tv, great wifi,...) while relaxing in this charming cottage, just a drive away from many interesting location/villages. The hosts were always available to answer any questions we had, and they provided a lot of details and suggestions about the house and surroundings. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Helt fantastisk sted. Indretning er helt unik og gennemført, dejlig terrasse med eftermiddagssol omgivet at kæmpe rhododendron buske. Eneste minus er manglende gardiner på førstesal, hvor man ikke har meget privat liv. Ellers er alt andet en stor oplevelse. 

Für alle, die eine ruhige Lage und den unbeeinflussten Blick aufs Meer schätzen, ist das perfekt. Das Haus ist bestens für 4 Personen geeignet, die miteinander unterwegs sind, weil sie auch gemeinsam das Haus beleben möchten. Wir haben es sehr genossen, morgens mit Blick aufs Meer zu frühstücken, am Nachmittag mit Blick aufs Meer zu ruhen und am Abend mit Blick aufs Meer einen Rotwein zu trinken.

Boligen kan absolut anbefales. Gammelt og charmerende hus. Restaureret og indrettet på bedste vis med flotte materialer og megen personlig hygge. Gode senge i tre store værelser, hyggeligt køkken med al inventar, lækkert badeværelse. Alt rent og pænt. Skøn have med bålplads. Fantastisk sauna i haven. Kort afstand til indkøb og til naturen med skov og dejlig strand. Ann Kristin er meget venlig og imødekommende og giver god information om huset og området. Svarer altid og hurtigt. Vi har kun ros og vender gerne tilbage en anden gang.

Our family had a great stay at the house. If you want a quiet place a short walk from the beach, this is perfect. Just keep in mind that it’s a Swedish summer cottage, meaning it’s wooden, can get a bit cold (although heaters work well) and doesn’t have all modern amenities. But it’s cosy and comes fully recommended

We had a great stay, what a lovely place this is! The house is nice and comfortable and has a huge garden. A quiet surrounding but still a lot to do, it’s close to the beach. Maria and Marcus were very kind and helpful.

We had such a lovely winter-break in this beautiful place! The house was tastefully decorated for x-mas and had a lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Very uncluttered and with gorgeous interiors, we were absolutely delighted with everything. We would warmly recommend this place!

Einfach eine tolle Unterkunft, und super nette Gastgeber. Es gab gab sogar ein Leckerli für unseren Hund.

Located in a quite newly built neighborhood, steps away from the seaside. Spacious bathroom but would be nicer if a bath mat and hair dryer were provided. A bit further from town center so better drive on your own. Otherwise all good.

We enjoyed a lot our stay at Mat’s loft. It was easy to find the location and get in. We got very good instructions before check in. The beautiful unique building that was before an old bank. Loft as described, huge and was very clean and cozy. Had everything that we needed for our stay. Very nice fenced garden. Parking is just outside the building and free. Mats was very helpful and quick on responding. We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Österlen.

We celebrated a special family occasion at the Embassy and had a fantastic time. Well located near to the centre of Lund, the apartment is spacious and comfortable for a larger group. The hosts were very helpful and responsive and even rushed an iron round to us when we couldn't find one in the apartment. Thanks guys!

Freundlicher Gastgeber, einfacher Checkin und Checkout, große und saubere Wohnung, trotz Lage an einer großen Straße war es sehr ruhig, guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad. Empfehlenswert!

Das Apartment war wirklich super schön! Wir haben sofort wohl gefühlt! Die Küche ist super modern, das Badezimmer wunderschön und die Einrichtung sehr schick. Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt! Man kommt zu Fuß überall hin, vir der Tür hat man tolle Restaurants und ab und zu live Musik durch Straßenkünstler. Es gab zwei drei Kleinigkeiten in der Wohnung die Verbesserung bedarf haben, das sind aber wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten und absolut nicht dramatisch. Daher teilen wir das mit den Inhabern per Nachricht. Wir können das Apartment mehr als empfehlen!!!

This was the best AirBNB place we have ever stayed at. I cannot even believe it is available on AirBNB. It is in an historic building attached in a row house to the old kings Palace. It is basically attached to the current winter palace. You stand outside the front door and watch the Royal Guards standing guard all night. They march right in front of the place every day during the changing of the guards - amazing to watch from open bedroom windows. The places is huge and beautiful. You get the feeling that your staying in the house of one of the past kings best friends. It's beautifully restored, has a traditional noble feel with very nice modern trendy lighting. You can see the old kings palace and the roof of the current queens palace from the kitchen. The bathroom is amazing. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are Cozy. The host Den is amazing and friendly., I highly recommend his private boat tour if available.

Had a lovely stay in Copenhagen at Anne Marie’s gorgeous little apartment. Felt like home. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed ,washing machine and dryer. Such a great location close to train,metro, and shops and restaurants and easy walk to all sightseeing. Highly recommended staying here.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Waldhaus! Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich – man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Lage mitten in der Natur ist traumhaft und ideal zum Abschalten. Auch die Kommunikation mit Caroline war super freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen!

Hello Thomas, Thank you for hosting us in such a beautiful and wonderful place. All of my friends had a fantastic time, and it was the perfect, relaxing short Easter getaway. En fantastisk helg i detta otroligt fina hus! Allt man kunde tänkas behövas fanns i boendet. Tydliga instruktioner fanns också! Rekommenderar detta boende starkt!

Das Haus war wie beschrieben - die Fotos entsprachen dem was wir vorgefunden haben. Das Haus ist super gemütlich, gut eingerichtet und idyllisch gelegen. Das Check in war super einfach und bequem. Due Zimmer waren sauber und geräumig. Das Bad war okay, gäbe es die Haare auf dem Boden und Restmüll im Kosmetik-Eimer nicht, hätten wir volle Sterne vergeben. Das war das einzige Manko. Ansonsten top!

Super trevligt ställe som passade helt perfekt för 20 personer som ska spela förrädarna en kväll! Mycket hjälpsam och tillmötesgående värd. Rekommenderar verkligen.

La maison de Ludvig était très agréable et spacieuse. Nous y avons séjourné à 7 pour 5 nuits dans le cadre du travail et nous y avons passé un très bon moment. La proximité avec la plage et le quartier calme sont des points forts. La cuisine est bien équipée également et l'hôte a été très réactif suite à nos questions.

Visiting the dreamspace was impromptu, yet in retrospect I feel quietly summoned. Communicating with Pia is a charm; like skating back into a conversation that had simply paused. Absurdly brilliant design. So much heart. Sun flakes spilling across the floor, the fireplace becoming your second pulse, calm nights (except for birds with a clear sense of hierarchy) Local trivia includes swimming, splitting wood, standing still to watch deer passing through like retired royals. Sätofta’s lake is close enough for a dip & far enough it feels like an achievement (20min walk). Cafés/errands are near, though the temptation to ignore civilization entirely is strong. Writers & dreamers, bring your notebooks! This cracker of a villa teases out the stories hiding in your chest. I finished my script, and considered giving up cph city life altogether before coming to my senses (barely). I already ache to return. One does not argue with a place that knows you better than you do yourself. Merci, Nora x

Idas boende är helt fantastiskt! Det börjar redan när man parkerar, det är bara att plugga in bilen till laddaren som laddar bilen gratis. Det är extremt rent och fräscht i boendet och man känner sig mer än välkommen. Ida har förberett allt in i minsta detalj, man känner sig som en världsstjärna där ett helt team har förberett ankomsten för att allt ska vara perfekt. Badrockarna och handdukarna ligger framme, sängarna är bäddade, matbordet är dukat, kaminen redo att användas och ved ingår. Det finns till och med ett kylskåp fullt med mat och en frys med hembakade bullar till frukosten. Det finns också en fruktkorg, kaffemaskin och ett mer än fullt utrustat kök. Spabadet är uppvärmt och klart, det finns till och med så du kan fälla upp glaspartier runt spabadet ifall det skulle blåsa, och ett insynsskydd. Vill du uppleva ett boende som har allt, inkl de små detaljerna som gör den stora skillnaden, så ska du boka Idas boende. Ida är också en extremt trevlig värd som svarar supersnabbt!
