Beach house holiday rentals in York

We loved this stay! The lite house was very nice and renovated, while still maintaining original structure. The porches all around were great and the view from the master bedroom was stunning. Easy walk to small private beach. Town is about a 10 minute drive. We dined at Woodys and the Wellwood and they were both tasty!

We had a great time. There was plenty of space to move around so that everyone was not in each other's space. The place was very clean and well-stocked with some everyday items you would normally have in your house to cook, shower and clean with. Jen was very responsive with any questions we had. Even the small children loved the house, especially the bunk beds. It was easy to get to places we needed to go to. All 11 of us enjoyed our stay and everyone said they wouldn't mind returning for another family staycation.

This house was AMAZING! So much space. The rooms were so large, high ceilings and windows, it was just gorgeous! Trey was very responsive to any questions that we had. Lots of parking, just be sure to leave the far left space open for the host to park, since he lives on site at the back of the home (I missed this piece in the description). We had alot of friends visit that were down for the one day and everyone was blown away by the house, and many want to book in the future. The park next door was great for the kids to spread out..and Saturday was a BONUS, when they had live music playing, a food truck and beer tent..we had our own front row seat all afternoon....can't beat live music, by the campfire, by the water. A few notes for future renters: take your own toiletries (soap/shampoo not provided), the "no access" closet to the right of the stove, is actually where the brooms/trash bags and cleaning supplies are housed and you do have access to it. Once again the River house is a well appointed comfortable stay! The swimming pool is a gem! The house is bright and well located; very clean. There is great and comfortable furniture. The views are beautiful and the location is wonderful. We will be back next year!

Cece had everything ready for us and our pup. The home was very clean and well stocked. She even had kindling and dry wood ready for the chimania. Instructions were clear and a binder with local attractions and restaurants was ready for us.

This is a beautiful home in a serene setting. Although there was plenty of boat traffic it was I. The distance and not noisy at all. The home is furnished simply but there are many more amenities than most airbnbs including children’s equipment and toys! The host readily honored a special request! The pictures are not clear about the water access. It is not a beach, but a stairway. We still spent much time at the water’s edge, and sitting in those great Adirondack chairs!!

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed being outdoors on the deck and walking the shoreline. The interior accommodations were very comfortable and met all our needs and expectations. The weather was perfect, too! Would definitely like to return again. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We had a small family group stay at the Beach House in North East for Thanksgiving, and it was perfect in every way for our group. Plenty of room, fantastic location and water views, easy beach access, very well-equipped kitchen, warm and cozy living room area, and great communication from Alexis. We hope to return again soon!

Sunset Place was a perfect spot and setup for large family or friend gathering. We were in from out of town for a wedding event and the house was so accommodating for what we needed. We have friends and family in the local campground and the house backs to that so it made it easy to enjoy everything down there. The home is welcoming, clean and has everything a family would need for a long trip or vacation. The host was amazing at communication and even helped when we had a snag and left an article in the home after. Each room was comfortable, the hot tub was a huge plus, and the fire pit was a nice addition to the night time when wanting down time. The beach access points are close by and there are a ton of local restaurants and such to enjoy. My mother lived in Northeast and we always visited so it felt like home and we are definitely going to return for family/friend trips yearly when in town. Thank you again for a great spot and amazing renovation to this local home.

Our family of 6 was in town visiting for two graduations. Both graduations were about 45min each way. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and proximity to restaurants. There homes are situated pretty close, and it seemed like a safe area. At the top level you have some views to see the water, but if you want to take a closer look you can easily walk. The home is three stories, so someone who isn’t able to climb stairs may want to keep that in mind. The stairs are pretty easy to climb though. We ate at The Wellwood Restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious, the extra large blue crabs were stellar as well as the Oysters Rockefeller!

Had a great stay. Booked to stay at after a friends wedding and so happy we did. Hoping to come back in the future just to visit the area for a weekend. Lindsay was very friendly and responsive!

We had a wonderful stay at Alexis' home. All my kids and my dad were there are there was more than enough space. The second unit downstairs was perfect for my daughter and her family as there was a quiet place for the children to nap while the rest of us visited upstairs. They yard was wonderful for them to run around and play. We had a few days of rain and the big window in the dining room overlooking the bay made made it a peaceful place to enjoy a day in with games and good conversation. It has a beautiful view and lots of light. We did not use the hot tub so I cannot comment on that although it would be a wonderful space to relax with the view. It is only a few miles from an adorable, walking town with restaurants and shops. Overall, I highly recommend this air b and b. We loved it!
