Absolutely loved our stay! Julie was amazing—so welcoming and thoughtful, really went above and beyond. The lake was beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. Can’t wait to come back!

This cabin was in the perfect location for all of the best hiking and kayaking in the area. It's very remote, but lots of food options 30 min away. The cabin itself was adorable and cozy, it was very clean and well kept. The basement was perfect for sleeping. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at the Knotty Pine cabin. It was by far one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was spotless and the amenities were outstanding. So many extras- from the coffee bar, to the s’mores kit & snack basket, the host went above and beyond to make this the perfect cozy cabin with everything you need! Our favorite was the outdoor space. It rained several times during our stay, but we were still able to enjoy the fireplace & hot tub out on the covered deck. It was so relaxing after a day of kayaking and hiking. Jasper is a cute little town with several places to eat and a grocery store if you decide to cook at the cabin. We visited the Ozark Cafe, the local pizza joint, and Low Gap Cafe. All were good. We also grilled steaks out on the Traeger our last night there. It was perfect! We’re already looking forward to planning our next visit!

Lindsey and Heidi’s cabin was such a charming gem of a place. It was clean, cozy, peaceful, and very private! A perfect couples retreat. Her kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook full meals. My favorite detail were the white waffle knit robes. I brought clothes to wear but probably didn’t need to because I pretty much lived in the robes my entire stay!! The hosts were so responsive to my questions and even suggested some local activities that were happening the weekend we were there, which was great! I highly recommend their cabin if you are looking for a place near the Buffalo River!

This location was the perfect spot for our girls getaway. Between the privacy, fire pit, and hot tub we had our own piece of heaven. The views in this area are breathtaking. Plenty of room and amenities!

The sunrise is supreme. The cabin details were well thought out and they had almost anything you could want. The kitchen is well stocked with extras like oil, coffee, filters, sandwich bags, and plastic cutlery. Sharp knives, Ninja coffee maker, laundry supplies, a lighter for the stove/grill/fire pit, and more. The AC worked well. The storms caused a tree to fall over the driveway and flooded out the hot tub. They were quick to answer and address the issues we had related to the storm. The turn-off is a bit unexpected, so read the access instructions carefully before you get there. It was easy to find with the instructions provided. The location was perfectly central to everything we wanted to do: Buffalo River, MTB at Ponca/Upper Buffalo, waterfalls south of Jasper, hiking and fishing, and Horseshoe Canyon Ranch (definitely look into the Via Ferrata!!!) We will absolutely stay here again.

I absolutely loved staying at this cabin! It was just two of us and our dogs but the host was very responsive and everything was as advertised. As far as the cabin amenities, it has all the basics you would need. But the property itself the real star! It is just incredible. Very private and serene. Front porch sittin that is hard to beat! Bring your binoculars!

Loved staying here. Lots of space with clean and matching linens. It rained a lot so it was great to have so many games. We had a blast! The washer and dryer were like new. Everything was clean and we were very comfortable.

We love the location. We have stayed here before. I recommend this cabin. Dauna was quick to respond when I had messaged her. We will stay here again in the future.

Heather Hill was a great and quiet place to wrap up our paddling trip on the Buffalo River! Clint’s place is just a couple of minutes from the Pruitt River access. We really enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and taking in the tranquility after a great float!

This was a great, peaceful location. We came to float the Buffalo River. The outfitter was a little less than 30 mins from the house. The house was immaculate and had so many small things to help us feel at home. I loved reading on the hammock in the yard in the evenings.

What a gorgeous view. And despite the heat of the day, evenings on the porch were mild and breezy. The driveway up from the county road is a bit rocky, so if you have a choice of vehicle, pick something with a little ground clearance. Lovely property, nice hosts, great stay.

The owner was very communicative and helpful. He was responsive to our questions about the area and gave us great advice. Our stay, which included two families (total of 10 individuals) stayed very comfortably in this space. We enjoyed being able to cook out and do a campfire/smores with the kids. Firewood was available with a fire pit, which was convenient. The kids loved playing games in the game room when they needed something to do. The porch had a picture perfect view of the mountains, and we loved being able to lounge, have coffee, and chat. Our trip to Falling Water Falls was a huge hit with everyone. We swam there most of the day and explored the area. Anyone traveling in this area should be aware of ticks and how to prepare/manage while exploring the area. Overall, we would love to return.

So many people have said wonderful things about Barbara’s place so it seems that my words would just fall in amongst them. There was something so special about the location and the peaceful atmosphere that when I say “we didn’t want to leave “, I really mean it. It rained and stormed while we were there and it just made everything more beautiful. It was our anniversary and we needed that time together that we don’t get at home. The driving distance to town was just right. The trails on the property led to clear water that you could hear from the porch because of the rain. The fire pit allowed us to roast marshmallows and hotdogs. Our beagle enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching for rabbits or squirrels. Barbara provided beverages, condiments, tea, and even coffee. The way the house is decorated is refreshing but also draws you in to the importance of history and of leaving a legacy of love. We thank you Barbara. From our hearts. A lovely, many windowed cozy spot in the woods. The rain kept us in from exploring one whole day and we enjoyed it. High ceiling w nice decoration and well equipped small kitchen was very nice. Nice to sit in 3 areas under a roof, even in the rain. Remote & private in a beautiful area! Just what we like!!!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 3 + our pup’s Spring Break trip! The beds were comfortable, the lake was beautiful, the cove was perfect for Kayaking, and Shere was very friendly & super helpful! Our cell phone service was spotty in the area, but it didn’t matter, we were relaxed & offline for a week. My 13 year old has already asked if we could come back every year!

It was a beautiful quiet place other than the traffic on the road I was hoping that it was gonna be a little more secluded. But it was a great place and I would definitely rent it again and I don’t know who put the firewood out in the fire pit for me, but thank you so so much. That was a beautiful evening for me to sit out by the fire and drink a wonderful glass of wine

If they have availability BOOK IT! The house is gorgeous, not a need left unmet, and the view was even better. This was a great experience from booking to leaving. We hope to come back and stay again!

My husband and I stayed for a night as a part of our honeymoon. It was so peaceful and had it's own personal creak to explore on the property. Such an amazing place and great price. The host are super friendly and the sweetest dogs on the property. We talked about how we are definitely coming again for a longer stay for sure, maybe even as anniversary trips!✨️

If you want to rest and relax, come to these cabins. Super quiet.

Had the best stay! Jean Marie was so helpful from everything about where to fish to where to go for guide service. The house was perfect, we can’t wait to come back to this special retreat!
