Would stay again in a heartbeat. Nice little cabin, very quiet and peaceful.

Perfect place to stay while visiting family in the area. It had everything we needed. Very peaceful and we loved listening to the creek from the back deck. Our dog LOVED playing in the creek.

We had a blast staying out in the mountains. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. The A-frame cabin was beautiful inside and out. We could not have chosen any where better to stay for a weekend.

Had a great stay at “papa Johns” cabin. Perfect getaway with the hubby for his birthday. The cabin was well equipped with essential supplies and very clean. I’m a housekeeper myself so I’m very particular! The hot tub was perfect, very relaxing. And we highly recommend “Southern on Main” restaurant, it was fantastic!

Omegia greeted us when we came and was immediately responsive to our questions during our stay. She left a bottle of wine and cheese for us and donuts for breakfast. We did have problems with our front door lock and the TV had no signal while we were there. It is, however, a lovely, peaceful neighborhood close to downtown Elkin and Omegia is a friendly attentive host. We enjoyed our visit.

Just what I needed for the week. Easy to access, walkable neighborhood, and all the amenities were as stated. Thank you for hosting!

Place was easy to access and clean. The space was as described. No central AC but each room has its own AC unit. The house is located right next to a school and a park in a neighborhood with lots of families. It's a pretty old house but the stay was great overall, would stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful space. It is very clear that a lot of intentionality went into crafting such a space. Will definitely be my first pick next time we visit Winston Salem.

The Hanging Rock Cabin is absolutely beautiful - inside and out. The pics do not do it justice! A great setup for multiple couples and families with children, lots of kitchen supplies and lots of seating outside. The view of Hanging Rock is stunning. We loved walking around the well-groomed trails on the property and fishing at the pond. The restaurant on the property was also excellent - delicious food and cocktails and a great view. Highly recommend!

Lovely home in a fantastic neighborhood. We had a great time staying here with our dog. It was very walkable with excellent restaurants and groceries nearby. The home was quite roomy and included a much appreciated washer and dryer. While the back yard was not fully fenced in, it was landscaped and had a comfortable patio. We enjoyed sitting out there with our pup.

Million dollar views and lots of outdoor spaces to view them from. This is not a new home, but it is a wonderful place to spend time together with family. We had loved ones coming from L.A., Michigan, and Indiana for a family wedding. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. Fun game room. We didn't much use them but there were TVs in several spots. Nice table outside with a fireplace in the middle. The driveway is STEEP but we were visiting over a picture-perfect weekend in May so didn't have any trouble.

We were here for a tennis tournament! It was the perfect location to places to eat, shop and the courts! The house was perfect size for 7 of us! We enjoyed the outside porch, ( the morning birds singing and the evening breeze was delightful) , the relaxing open area, enjoyed the open kitchen and also enjoyed games from the dining room table! Everything we needed was there! Two bathrooms was adequate! Evan was kind, helpful and professional! Loved the place! And will definitely rent again. Highly recommend!

Was exactly how described. It was a wonderful place. Very clean, peaceful and private. Everything is close by and very easy to get to rather walking or driving. The host are very friendly, personable and quick to response. You won't go wrong if you chose to stay here.

I was in Winston Salem for a weeklong workshop at Salem College, and chose David's home to stay. The apartment was very convenient to my location and everything in town. It was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, and the kitchen allowed me to have and take meals during my busy schedule. The appliances are nice, everything works well and the beds were comfortable. Getting inside with the keyless lock was a little tricky initially. David responded right away and even came over to check it. Once I learned how to use it, it was fine. The home is on a busy street and there was some noise from the street in the evenings, but I mostly only heard it in the living room. The larger bedroom and bathroom were peaceful and the shower worked great; I suggested improving the function of the shower head in the smaller bathroom with the tub. It works fine as a shower wand, but didn't stay upright as a shower head; should be a fixable issue. Thanks for a great stay, would stay again.

Definitely a good value for our purposes! Fay and Raphael have a beautiful (and what one guest described as "quaint") family home that was full of good surprises. It was much like visiting Grandma's house with original decor, wood floors, wallpaper, and just enough updates to feel safe and modern - but still within the period of the home's build. This would be a good home for families as there are separate rooms and three full-baths. Although we wished that the beds were more comfortable, there certainly were a lot of choices as to where to sleep! The fold-out sofa-beds are probably good for children but not adults. We did not use the kitchen, but it was very clean and nicely stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Everything in the home was tidy and clean. Many interesting historical family photos/documents on the walls. The neighborhood was quiet and it was easy to commute to The Benton Convention Center which is less than 15 minutes from driveway to parking.

The house is tucked away but with 15 minutes of everything needed or wanted. We loved the sunroom in the mornings for coffee. Kerrie is fantastic!

Overall a great experience here. Cozy space that had everything we needed, and the host went out of her way to make sure there was an iron and ironing board ready for us after I simply asked if she had one there! The cottage is completely private and in a quiet area. Beds were comfy. Would definitely come back!
