Family-friendly holiday rentals in Xagħra

We had a lovely time at Victor’s place with my family for a week’s holiday in April. Had the chance to explore the local area whilst using the house as a base. 10/10 house, lovely place to relax with everything we needed.

Loved the house and location, had a 360 view of the sea from the roof terrace. The children enjoyed their time in the swimming pools. Had all the amenities needed for a home away from home. The cleaner and owner were very helpful and accommodating to our family and we really appreciate that.

Twilight is a lovely villa, tucked away along a quiet lane but a quiet and beautiful walk away from two Lighthouse supermarkets. There’s also a lovely restaurant on the church square in San Lawrenz. Having an en suite each was great. Wi-Fi was fast and worked well by the pool. Aircon was excellent. The pool was the best feature of the house… the pool terrace is lovely, gets the sun all day and that view! Also we were always able to find shade… didn’t use the hot tub as it was so hot but a great addition for cooler months. Take bug spray we all got a few bites. We also bought a citronella candle for evenings. Great communication from Kevin, nothing too much trouble.

Great house! Spacious, beautiful, and equipped with everything a family could need. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, swimming every day! The location is fantastic. Just a five-minute drive away, there's a great beach with a restaurant where we had lunch several times. There’s also a pizzeria and a store with all the essentials just a few minutes away. Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

One of the best and most interesting places we’ve ever stayed! Mind was blown from the moment we walked in and exploring every corner of this huge property. Was the perfect home base to explore all of Malta during our 6 day stay. All amenities came in very good use and absolutely loved the layout. Highly highly recommend for a memorable stay!!

Moritz was super host- super quick to reply. The apartment is in a great location in my favourite place in Malta, super outside space for relaxing and enjoying the views of Spinola Bay You have an amazing choice of superb restaurants right on your doorstep. From the time of booking, communication with Tina was excellent – fast, helpful and with many useful tips (e.g. restaurant list). When we opened the balcony door, the breathtaking view of Valletta immediately inspired us. The location is ideal: ferries and buses are directly opposite, supermarket, restaurants and bars nearby. From the balcony you have a great view of the promenade of Sliema, and yet it is quiet in the apartment - the bedrooms are at the back. If we travel to Malta again, we would book this apartment again immediately. Small note: For Malta, you need an adapter for British sockets (type G).

Robert (and his lovely dog Duke!) was an incredible and attentive host. He provided amenities (such as a taxi service from the airport; fruit, bread and water), and helpful directions and recommendations. His apartment was full of charm and felt homey. It was steps to the water, and had views of the Upper Barrakka gardens. I highly recommend Robert’s place, and hope to return soon!

My partner and I had the best time at Sim's property. It is a beautiful flat, spacious and comfortable. Sim's recommendations were spot on and not like anything we had seen before - his level of detail in the information he sent before check in was unheard of. We are very happy to have stayed at Sim's flat and definitely recommend it!

Thank you for having us! Lucy's place was very cozy, private, in a more quiet part of the city but easy to reach the rest of Valetta and other places we wanted to visit around the islands.

We had a wonderful stay at Fifty-four Zero - the house is really unique and the view from the pool is breathtaking. Anton was proactive before and during our stay and very responsive when we had questions. Recommend hiring a car to get to restaurants and places of interest.

it was lovely, the photos don’t give it enough justice. Really big, modern. Host was really helpful and arranged transport from the airport to the Airbnb. Would recommend to anyone visiting Malta. The accomodation made our trip. Such a beautiful area and Ubers really reasonable to get to and from places

A truly fantastic home and an equally fantastic host in Anton! We, a family of 8, made up of children, parents and grandparents, have just had the most amazing stay in Anton’s beautiful home. The house is even better than the photos suggest, a real wow factor as you walk in. It comes nicely furnished with very comfortable beds and furniture, and the house is equipped extremely well with everything you could possibly need. Each room has its own character and charm, then you step outside into pool area and garden and the wow factor continues! We spent a lot of time here, it’s an amazing space and so private. The location in Xaghra is ideal with a few minutes stroll to the village square, a little gem filled with enough varied cafés, bars and small restaurants to keep all tastes satisfied. I must say Al Sale stood out. Then there’s Anton, who greeted and took time to show us around explaining how everything works. He’s the best host I’ve encountered, a friendly, kind and funny gentleman.

Pauline and Mario were very helpful on our stay. The house had everything that was needed and was ideally located in the middle of the island. Check in was easy and Pauline helped arrange both the transfers and hire cars. Would definitely return in the future!

Fantastic villa with a breathtaking view and the host was extremely welcoming.

We had a very nice stay at Victor’s farmhouse in Xhagra. The location must be one of the closest to Ramla Bay that are available as vacation rentals. The beach can even be reached by a nice walk (when it’s not too hot). The shortest drive to the neighboring village Nadur actually passes through Ramla Bay. The house itself is beautiful, cozy, has all that’s needed for a family or group vacation, has a nice pool and BBQ, and last but not least you can see the Mediterranean from the house. One potential issue for guests who are sensitive to noise from neighbors (or worries about own noise), while the walls are thick, they are not sound proof, so we could hear some noise from the neighbors at times. Overall a very respectful and quiet neighborhood, however. Victor was a great host and always available with friendly support when needed (like asking for extra sheets etc.)

The house has an amazing atmosphere, especially the terrace, windows and swimming pool. The center looks better than in the pictures. The host was flexible about check-in and check-out times, which was a huge plus.

Beautiful place to stay! we are so grateful with hot indoor pool because it was windy & cold days when we stayed here so unable to enjoy the outdoor pool with the breahtaking view of surrounding Gozo. kids love the Cinema! highly recommended it
