Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Woolacombe Beach

We had a wonderful stay at the cosy cottage. The first hours unfortunately were quite cold, because the house wasn’t heated when we arrived. But we escaped into the warm jacuzzi :) When the house was warmed up it was perfect. The surroundings are beautiful, you can do great walks in and around Lee. We totally recommend it!

Just had an absolutely fabulous 5 nights at Rollestone Barn with 2 of our doggies . The Barn is light and spacious and extremely clean and well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the bedroom has a really comfy bed . The fully enclosed garden was fabulous for our dogs and a lovely peaceful place for sitting out in lovely surroundings. Noel and Sarah were very responsive hosts and all the information about the Barn and local attractions was much appreciated. They also left us lovely extras for the humans and doggies ! We will definitely be back to Rollestone Barn to further explore this lovely area - it really was a perfect place to stay !

We had an absolutely excellent stay at Gordon’s cottage in Croyde! The place was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing family break. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the beach and village, with lovely countryside views from the cottage. Gordon was a warm and welcoming host, providing thoughtful touches and helpful local tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic, secluded spot for a stay in North Devon. Though quiet itself, it's less than 10 minutes' walk to Braunton which has a selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants which Ant helpfully guides with recommendations. The place itself is beautifully done, with a full kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and excellent outdoor area for barbecues in addition to a lovely firepit. The landscaping of the gardens is stunning, it's a brilliant place to relax, and Ant is very helpful and responsive if you have any issues or want tips on what to do.

Had the best 2 night stay here. Beautiful place with all the essential amenities. Maggie was extremely responsive and provided us with all the relevant information we needed for our stay. Would definitely come back again!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Beautiful accommodation exactly as described. Everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Plenty of clear instructions how to use kitchen appliances. Perfect spot to relax and look at the views and to access the beach. Would happily stay again

We had an excellent stay at Clare’s place in Braunton. We were attending a wedding at a local venue but decided on a longer stay to explore the area - very glad that we did! The air BnB had a great kitchen and living area, well equipped with everything that you would need, and had a lovely outdoor space. The bed was also very comfy which is always a bonus! The location is ideal, a short drive away from Saunton Sands, and slightly further to Croyde where we had some lovely food and watched the sunset on the beach. Clare / Jane were really helpful with instructions and directions to the property, and left a number of useful numbers and recommendations in the air BnB which helped a lot! Would certainly recommend staying here if you’re looking to visit the north Devon coast!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the appreciated the Welcome Pack on arrival. The apartment is perfectly located for walking the South West Coast Path and for accessing other attractions. We easily prepared food in the open plan kitchen and thoroughly appreciated the great views. We found plentiful parking in the local car park and also found an overnight off street parking space. William stayed in contact throughout our stay which was great. A great find!

The flat is thoughtfully decorated, very clean and full of everything you'll need to enjoy your time there (and of course the view!). Becki was very responsive and dealt with an issue very quickly. Parking was quite easy and very close to the flat. Make sure you have plenty of space for photos! Our children didn't want to leave the view....

Leilas appartment has a lovely view of the harbour. The walk down is fairly steep so consequently so is the walk back. It’s a good central point for checking out North Devon.

Lovely apartment over looking the harbour! We enjoyed our stay at Lindsey’s place. The apartment was spacious and she has everything you could need such as; dvd’s, cd’s, guitar, ukulele and games! There’s parking and it’s only a short walk to the harbour. Would recommend!

Lovely flat in the perfect location - so close to the centre of Ilfracombe but away from the crowds and so very peaceful. Stunning sea views, beautiful walks from the doorstep and everything you need in the accomodation. Dee was responsive and helpful.

The view from the apartment was worth it. Whilst the weather was rubbish and Westward Ho!… a tad underwhelming. Sitting and watching the sea at the end of a day was so beautiful even on a blustery rainy day.

Great place to stay when visiting friends and family. Friendly host met us and showed us around the apartment, then gave us time to ourselves. Always great when tea, coffee and milk are left for you too. Nice comfy big bed, slept late days. Would definitely stay again

What a great place to stay! Everything in Ilfracombe was walkable from here. We were attending a wedding at tunnels beach and this gave us the perfect base. The flat was excellent. High standard of fittings and features and everything we could have needed. Louise was quick to respond and gave me really clear instructions for finding the flat. And the private off road parking space was brilliant and hassle free. I would highly recommend staying here.

Emma’s description of The Snug is spot on and her communication was excellent. A slightly unprepossessing exterior belies a very comfortable and cosy apartment. It’s very well equipped with some very thoughtful touches and it had everything we needed for a short stay and was spotless clean. We met the neighbours who were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend.

The apartment, although small in size, has been extremely cleverly designed to make the best of its available space and offer guests a very comfortable home-from-home stay. It has two good-sized rooms and a living room with a comfortable sofa bed (and the best views of the house!). A tidy kitchen, dining area, and wc, and a shower room (with a very good shower)… basically everything one needs! The coastal path, and Crooklets beach are both right at its doorstep, within a beautiful town with character and all the amenities one may need (shops, post office, etc…). However, probably the best of this apartment is its host -Sarah. Sarah has great attention to detail, has everything readily and easily available, and offers amazing, friendly but professional communication. She’s always happy to help with any queries and makes one feel extremely welcome. Overall, this is a truly amazing apartment boasting with great energy, in a truly magical area… exactly what mind, body, and souls need!

Apartment was lovely, as described and a good location for exploring Ilfracombe and surrounding areas. It is an apartment in a block, so we could hear the apartment above and while we were there, they were very noisy. Local pubs and restaurants were very good and only a short drive to Woolacombe beach, well worth a visit. Communication from Shirley was excellent.

We had a lovely stay at Beckys, the place is very cosy, has everything you could possibly need which is amazing especially when on a little stay and not able to bring everything yourself. The added extras of the milk and cookies was great and really appreciated. Also really comprehensive instructions for everything in the property and amazing guide to eating out etc, made picking somewhere much easier with our dog in tow. Would definitely stay again and would really recommend. Thanks!

Fantastic stay, David was a great host with brilliant communication. The apartment was clean and well decorated with everything we needed. Small beach round the corner which the kids loved and a 30min walk into Ilfracome. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment was very modern, tastefully decorated and had all you needed for a lovely break away. It was spotlessly clean. The shower in the bathroom is amazing. Decor definitely to my taste. The view from the living area window is spectacular, we spent a lot of time watching boats coming into the harbour, and had a lovely view of Verity. The apartment is situated just outside of town centre so no noise, but walkable if required. Very good location with a car park nearby and a couple of pubs/ restaurants. Would recommend The Lime Kiln, has terraced area overlooking the harbour. Great place to sit and watch the world go by. All in all would highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay here, fitted all 10 of us comfortably and was so near to everything you could need. Would recommend highly!
