This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Pond for fishing, trail in woods. 5 miles from shopping & restaurants. 20 miles from Rend Lake. Kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, stove, & dishwasher. Bathroom with shower, washer/dryer. Iron & board available on request. Upstairs loft with queen bed & sofa bed. Sleeps 3-4. Balcony. Coffee. Check in 3pm Check out 11am

Turtle Cove

Located on beautiful Lake Centralia, Turtle Cove offers a relaxing lakefront experience, perfect for a couple's getaway or hosting families. If you need a quiet stay nestled in nature or fun on the water, you can’t go wrong with Turtle Cove! *Over 2 guests, we require an additional $12/person per night. **Dogs -flat $50 fee. We kindly ask for pets to stay off furniture / beds & dispose of dog waste from yard. Failure to do so will result in additional cleaning fee. ***No parties allowed.

Modern Loft in Historic Downtown

Lincoln’s Loft is close to everything making it easy to plan your visit to downtown Vandalia. This loft offers a bedroom, full kitchen and bath, dining room, living room with a pull out sofa, and large smart TV. This loft also offers beautiful views of the oldest State Capitol in IL and is within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and local shops. It is located on the 3rd level and will require you to climb 2 flight of stairs. For events please contact the host!

Private Cabin w/Pool on Lake Centralia, sleeps 12.

Welcome to Deer Creek Cabin on Lake Centralia. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful private retreat. A large deck surrounds the pool for all your family fun. Fishing and kayaking are just steps away. Enjoy your morning coffee in the screened-in porch overlooking a quiet cove of the beautiful lake. It is common to see deer, geese, ducks, turtles, and blue heron. As night falls, cozy up around the fire pit to make more family memories.

Day of Rest

This place is in a private, residential neighborhood but only a few blocks from businesses, shopping and restaurants. There are two small parks for children to play at, nearby. There is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles or a commercial truck/trailer. Bright outdoor LED lighting provides a safe atmosphere. This property is attached to a small venue. The venue has a full kitchen area that can be rented for an additional fee.

The Walnut House

Thank you for checking out The Walnut House. It’s a roomy and comfortable 2 bed 1 bath house in the middle of town. Within walking distance are several restaurants, many local shops, two grocery stores - one with a great deli! The city park has a walking trail, shady picnic areas, a public pool, and tennis and paddleball courts will be completed soon. Come settle in and enjoy a quiet safe small town get-away!

Summersville Cottage

Located just on the outskirts of town, this roomy house will be perfect for a stay for a large family group, or book it for a few weeks while you work in Mt Vernon! Just freshly painted and updated and filled with comfy furniture to give you a great "home-away-from-home". The back deck is spacious enough for dining and grilling. Keyless entry makes it perfect if you want total privacy. If you want lake access, come down and have coffee with us for orientation. Our pantry items, coffee, granola, half & half, and spices are perfect for your full-service kitchen.
