Cottage holiday rentals in Wolf Lake

My family and I stayed here while in town for a racing event. My family had a wonderful place to stay and unwind while I was at the track for three days. Everything was wonderful! My wife and kids ended up out on the lake in a canoe that was available to use. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to be able to cook dinner every night. At the end of a long day at the track, my wife and I were able to enjoy the hot tub. Everything was clean and neat. There was one issue I messaged Susan about during the stay, nothing that was huge, but I let her know there was a bee's nest in the shed where the canoe and kayaks were stored. Susan responded immediately and came out to take care of it. This place is clean, really nice, secluded, and peaceful. We had a wonderful long weekend to rest and unwind.

Extremely nice house that worked perfectly for our family of eight. The four kids (7, 5, 1.6, and 4 months) sleeping arrangements were just right. There was plenty of toys and things to do for the kids - including water options.

We stayed at this awesome cottage in northern Michigan for a golf trip with four guys, and it couldn’t have been better. The Airbnb is set on a ton of land—super peaceful and private, perfect for unwinding after long days on the course. The place was spotless, well-stocked, and everything was easy to navigate. One of the biggest highlights was the hot tub—absolutely clutch after walking 18+ holes each day. The host made everything simple with great communication and clear instructions from start to finish. It was one of those stays where everything just worked, which let us fully relax and enjoy the trip. Highly recommend this spot if you’re planning a golf getaway or just want a quiet place to chill with friends.

The Octagon cottage was the perfect retreat for our family vacation! Very close to Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. The hot tub and game room are an excellent addition for those unpredictable Michigan weather days! The home was stocked with all we needed and the attention to detail for guests showcase how great the hosts are! We will absolutely return for another family outing.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend for my dad’s memorial service at the nearby Eagles Rec Center, and I can’t imagine a more perfect place to celebrate his memory. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking—especially from the two massive decks and the private bedroom balcony. Sunrise coffee and sunset bonfires hit different with that kind of scenery. We even saw bald eagles! There was more than enough room for our group of 9 adults and 3 kids to spread out comfortably across all three levels. The house is beautifully renovated with a rustic modern vibe. The two large door walls in the living room gave tons of natural light and panoramic views of the lake from inside. From kayaks and paddleboards to the sandy bonfire area, to the stocked kitchen (with two fridges!), grill on the deck, the awesome game room downstairs, and on-site laundry, this place had it all. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were stocked with shampoos and soaps. Truly an amazing weekend.

This was the perfect setup for a little weekend getaway with a 6-year-old and our pup. The place was cute, the firepit was enjoyable, the area was beautiful, we felt we had enough privacy and everything we needed was included. We also used the guest passes to the community facilities to swim and enjoy the hot tub - excellent facilities there as well. We loved our weekend!

We hosted a group here for a bachelor party, and it was perfect! We were able to enjoy spending time in the hot tub, playing games near the lake, and kayaking together. We loved the booklet that Kelly had prepared with things to do in the area and also explained where anything we would need at the house was. Kelly was also very responsive to any questions. We had a fantastic stay and the house is beautiful!

We had a great time. It is a wonderful house and a lot of great memories were made. Fun for all ages! My husband and I are in our 40’s, two 20 year olds (our son and his girlfriend), a 16 year old (son), my sister and her husband who are in their 30’s and their 3 month old son. We had pinball tournaments, Godzilla was our favorite, grilled out, made smores at the fire pit, played in the pool and relaxed in the warm bath and hot tub. We rented UTV’s at Silver lake, went to the Ludington North Breakwater Lighthouse, went mini-golfing and go carting at AJ’s, ate and bowled at Stix, and walked around the shops in Ludington. The Coffee Coup’s Golden Egg is a must have for coffee lovers! Thank you, Carolyn, for letting us stay in your beautifully time warped 70’s home!

Wow... Such a beautiful spot to wind down. Came for my husband's birthday weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better spot! Sarah was super sweet and helpful. House had ALL the amenities we needed too. We COOK on trips due to food sensitivities and the kitchen was very well equipped! House was spotless and very charming. Located on a beautiful large lake. We would certainly come back in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved our stay at lil gem, it was just far enough off the grid that allowed us to relax, but still let us explore michigan! Jeri was super helpful and responsive to all of our needs as well! Definitely the perfect spot for a peaceful romantic getaway! We’ll be back!

The rental was perfect. Just big enough for the 6 of us. We had all the amenities available and needed nothing. The grocery store was just up the road so we packed light. We also utilized the washer/dryer which was handy. On Saturdays, there is the Merritt Speedway. Good for a laugh and beer. Don't forget to visit Tastey Treat. Beach is groomed/sandy and clear water for swimming. I could go on! Thank you and we look forward to coming back!, The Westlake's

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Kirk & Angella’s place. It is a wonderful place. It’s very peaceful and quiet along with many things to do and see. Will definitely continue to come back. Their place doesn’t disappoint, they think of everything you could possibly need or may have forgotten. They are quick to respond if you have any questions.

This place was beautiful. She had everything we needed and then some.we really enjoyed the kayaks and beach. The kids loved swimming right off the beach. Quiet lake. Would definitely come again. My only complaint would be that it didnt seem like the a/c was working upstairs while we were there so it got a little toasty. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience.

My wife, toddler, and I had a great summer weekend in Pentwater! The cottage was perfect for our small family. We were just minutes away from the beach and downtown. The cottage was well furnished and had just what we need. If your stay is in the summer, please be sure to bring a fan or two and other things to stay cool in the evening. Rob communicated great tips on cooling at night, but with no AC, it can still get quite stuffy. Rob also provided the cottage with multiple blowing fans. A great trip once again! Rob is a great host and will take care of what you need.

I wish I would have booked my stay for longer, and I had this place booked for two months. The privacy and views here and around, are unmatched and for the rates it is a no-brainer. There are trails within minutes and plenty of places to set off in a kayak or canoe. Lakes galore. Plenty of fun summer activities. The hosts were very kind and polite, and spoke to me like I was a person rather than a tenant for any amount of time. Best AirBnB experience I have ever had. Thank you guys. Hopefully I can make it back again sometime

Our family enjoyed ourselves very much. There wasn’t alot around for shopping or restaurant dining. However, we were there to spend time together so the few restaurants and stores close by was perfect for us. The neighborhood and people were extremely friendly and kind. We LOVED the view. The lake was great for both sports and fishing.

Great Place for a fall long weekend getaway! We enjoyed the ease of access to surrounding activities, beautiful views and advertised amenities. The place worked great for cooking in or outdoors and keeping two children entertained. Trips to dunes for hiking or motorsport, bigger cities for restaurants or shopping and parks for sightseeing and recreation are all available from this cottage. The place was well stocked with towels, bedding and cooking utensils. Some water and ice are also provided. I ended up needing to work a bit during the stay, the wifi was great for this. A note that lake front property is prime real-estate so neighbors are close by. While quiet and nice, having neighbors close by may not be everyone's cup of tea. Overall a great place to stay, would be interested in coming back for longer during the summer in the future.

The pictures were exactly like the cottage. We spent Memorial Day Weekend here and due to the cold forecast, we had had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed the games, the kayaks, the fire pit with wood available and the laundry. We did enjoy the local pizza place and it was great food and close. There were a lot of little touches that were very much appreciated. Such as paper towels, trash bags, salt and pepper and toilet paper. I would very much stay again.

We *LOVED* Aqua Cove!!! We're a family of 4 from Florida. We normally visit Asheville, NC every summer, but took a gamble to try Michigan this time--and Aqua Cove made our vacation magical! We had fallen in love with the pics from the listing, and everything was as shown! Harper Lake is GORGEOUS & the BEST backyard for a vacation! We stayed 5 days mid-June & had 3 days in the 50s and 2 in the 70s--PERFECT for FL folk trying to beat the heat! Our kids, 7 & 9, turned into adventurers! They kayaked, stand-up paddle boarded, paddle boat-ed, & dock-jumped for the first time ever :)! We fished, explored the mid-lake island, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows-wow! When we needed a break, the board games kept us entertained. Kids Ioved reading & coloring in the loft. I read and sipped coffee out back. Heaven! We barely left the property! The full laundry was SO great b/c we had lots of wet lake clothes, & the fully-equipped kitchen made us feel right at home :). We can't wait to return!

This newly updated cabin was nestled on a private drive. The view from the backside of the house was breathtaking with a clean cove to dig your feet into the sand. Easy drive to the dunes being only 8 min away. Our family would definitely stay here again.

It's a beautiful home in a beautiful location right on the water. So many amenities, and is so cozy it feels right at home.

Missy was really responsive and was great to communicate with. The check in and check out was very efficient and the house looked like the pictures as well.

Our stay was wonderful! Communication with Mack and Donna was great. Loved the “continental” breakfast. Especially the Wesco muffins. We arrived a lot later than expected Friday evening so they offered an extended stay for Sunday night. That was not expected but a very nice offer. We will definitely be back!
