Quaint stay in heart of Wasilla

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

Deshka Landing Charters & Lodge is a 90 minute drive northwest of Anchorage. We are off the beaten path surrounded by the beauty and wildlife of Alaska. A good hub while you explore Central Alaska including: Denali National Park, Matanuska Glacier, Talkeetna and Hatcher Pass. The Coho dry cabin has a mini-fridge, microwave, heater and electricity. This property is an active mini farm, please expect planting, weeding, harvesting being done by our family. Your hosts do reside at this property- it is our home and we appreciate guests who are respectful of our family, crops and livestock. This custom built 3000 square-foot home offers guests a getaway from the city as it's located on its own ten acres. We live here producing fruit and vegetables crops with family labor. Our four guest rooms are located up a flight of 16 stairs.
