5 Stars – A Slice of Paradise in Knysna! We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home in Knysna. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed — the hosts greeted us warmly and had thoughtfully left snacks, a bottle of wine, and even a delicious cake for us to enjoy. Such a special touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The house itself is stunning — spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful location made it the perfect place to unwind. We loved spending time on the patio, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying relaxed evenings by the fire. The location is ideal too — just a short drive from town, yet far enough to feel like a private retreat. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Watching the tide come in….watching it go out….so relaxing. Super weekend with baby, kids, grandparents and dog. Playing in the lagoon all day and enjoying the quiet splashes of the fish in the evenings. Thanks again Charles and Ryk

This was a stunning place in a beautiful location. We could not have asked for better accommodation for our party of 9. The house is beautifully furnished, indoors and outdoors, and has breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean from a high vantage point. There was so much to do in the area that all our excursions were interesting and fun and if we opted to stay home and relax, we could take a stroll down to the beach, visit local restaurants or explore nearby hiking trails. Patricia and Ray were great hosts and made our stay easy and comfortable. Would definitely come back again to this special place!

We had a fabulous stay!!! Lauren was extremely responsive and welcoming. The space was absolutely beautiful, neat, private and overall lovely. Anyone looking for some time away & love being surrounded by nature, this is perfect!

The view from the house is absolutely stunning, and the location is brilliant. Morné responded very quickly whenever needed and was super friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We were met at the home on arrival by Gail.Very friendly.Walked us through the home and explained the functioning of the home.Kept in contact with Gail via texting-she reponded promptly.Fantastic views from the upstairs bedrooms and balconies.Very private and peaceful.Home is in a gated communty so very safe.Short walk or drive into town.Laundry was a bonus.Would definitely recommend.

Our principle contact was Jonathan who couldn’t have done more for us, a superb host who lives nearby. The property is well equipped throughout and located in a safe residential area just 200m from the estuary. We spent 24 wonderful days there. One point is that internal access to the upstairs is by a rather narrow spiral staircase which might not suit all ie elderly but for others ie children a point of excitement. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending both the property and hosts as a wonderful home to relax and unwind in. We’ve only found one other to match!

We felt at home as soon as we entered the house. Thesen island is an artificial paradise perfect to relax when travelling along the garden route. We particulary enjoyed having a swim in front of the house when the tide was high.

Amazing space! Great location within the golf estate, with a lovely view from the balcony. Well designed apartment with excellent furnishing and decor. Walks and runs within the estate were great - safe and wonderful views. A short drive away from the beach. Would definitely recommend this space. We stayed in one of Tine’s luxury glamping caravans as the room on AirBnB got double booked. Tine solved the matter very professionally and upon arrival she was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for our short but beautiful stay!

I really enjoyed my stay ,it is very quiet and peaceful, easy to go from one point to another on a short distance , Colette really made me feel at home, she was very kind to send me restaurant specials and activities to do around but my biggest highlight was when I lost my phone and she borrowed me hers to use and even went as far as helping me find a new phone to use at an affordable price , I am definitely visiting again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Quinton's Red door cottage. Quinton was available to show us around and explain everything to us. The unit was very comfortable, clean and cozy. Quinton gave us plenty of suggestions for restaurants and kept in touch before and during our stay. It was a great place to stay in, easy to find and fairly central to most places in the area. I would definitely stay there again when in Wilderness.

Thanking Marthina and John for welcoming us into their beautiful accommodation. Much appreciated - it was bitterly cold outside however we loved the fireplace and the hot shower! The kitchen is has over and above what you need for a break away - worth all the stars The markets close to the Airbnb are worth visiting on a Saturday - a big wow!

Beautiful, safe, many activities. Douglas and Carla made us feel right at home. It was such a lovely experience. The specials Douglas shared helped a lot to know where to go. The beach he recommended was well worth the visit. In general out stay was awesome ans the house was within walkinh distance of everything. The khayak access was also a lovely touch. The house was well organized and we are deffiea going to incorporate the organized touches in our personal home. Thank you for the friendly vibes.

We had a marvelous holiday in a beautifully, peacefully setting. Noreen and Simon made us feel welcome, and were lucky to see the newborn faul "cracker" borned on Christmas.

It was the perfect relaxing holiday setting in beautiful nature surroundings. We absolutely will visit this holiday home again. Craig and Theoline are friendly and helpfull hosts. I will recommend their place to anyone.

Jean's house is the absolute perfect place for a family holiday. Lots of space, adjacent to a lovely, clean lagoon for fishing, swimming and canoeing; a lovely lawn for the kids to play on, a massive stoep (verandah) to spend the days and early evenings enjoying a braai and admiring the spectacular view of the hill on the other side of the lagoon, in the coolness of shade. The granny cottage in the backyard is the perfect go-to place for grandparents or parents to escape to. The location is perfect, on a cul-de-sac, near enough to restaurants and shops alike. To top it all, Jean is the perfect host and communicated accurately, honestly and immediately. Our large family of nine returned home, relaxed, happy and well rested. We absolutely dream of repeating our fabulous holiday in the exact same house, soon.

Loved staying at Alma's place and will definitely go back! It's not within walking distance of the beach but less than a 2min drive and I had the most amazing time swimming in the lagoon with my dog! Everything in the lovely old house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen has everything you need - from high-quality pots and pans to a stick blender and digital coffee machine! Alma left some finishing touches which made us feel so welcome: fresh cut flowers, biscuits, and chocolates.

Linda was amazing- going out of her way to help us with additional nights after we ran into some issues. the units were lovely and the staff so helpful and friendly - moving our luggage to different units due to the additional nights. thank you!!

We love staying at Paula's place, it is a divine cottage complete with everything one needs. Set in a beautiful garden, which our border collies just love. We thoroughly enjoy our holidays at Paula's place and will definitely be back again.

Our purpose for the weekend was us attending my son’s wedding.The accommodation was neat. I saw too late that all bedrooms were upstairs, so my mom of 80 years had to find a different accommodation when we got there. That was my mistake for not reading all the details. We expected a lake view from the house. However, we had a beautiful view of the mountains from the 2 bedrooms and the garden area from the bathroom. The fire place on the stoop could not be used due to rainy weather. Belinda is very responsive, we had a small problem with having no hot water the one evening and Belinda made sure that this was fixed first thing in the morning. All in all, we had a very comfortable & cosy stay. Thank you Belinda.🙌🏻
