Holiday rentals with a kayak in Wild Dunes, Isle of Palms

The townhome was exactly what we needed for our weeklong trip! Getting inside was easy with the keypad. It’s a cute place and had the right amount of space for our family of 5 to live like at home. All bedrooms are upstairs with comfortable, firm mattresses. The 3 bathrooms, and kitchen were clean. Great bonus—we enjoyed the full size washer/dryer being upstairs. We used the tv downstairs, and it was easy to add our streaming account (harder to remove if you’ve never done it) I was worried, but we never heard any neighbors. We had them at least 2 nights we were there. When the cloud cover was just right, it could be noisy with the flight path to the airport nearby. We enjoyed watching the planes, and the sound didn’t bother us at night at all. There’s a lot to do in 5-20 minutes in any direction. If you have children, the Park Circle playground and Danny Jones sports complex are wonderful. We went to the Coliseum for an event—it was the perfect location!

Had a wonderful stay with my wife, son and his wife and their two young children. Brenda was great at communicating and responsive to questions/concerns. Loved the location and easy access to a pool and kayak launch. We had an amazing experience seeing dolphins on our kayaking adventure. Loved having the bikes to cruise around the island. Hope to return someday.

We had a great time staying here, in the heart of Charleston! Great location for walking to restaurants and stores on King St. and surrounding areas, but a quiet area for sleeping. The house was comfortable and well stocked. Our complaint was that the parking was a bit tight and the Wonderer club was not in walking distance. But we would stay here again!

Beautiful location. Close to Folly beach and charleston but so quiet and serene. We used this as our home base for a 40th birthday trip and had a lovely time. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious and luxurious, outside spaces beautiful. Google maps didn’t have good directions to the house but the host sent them to us ahead of time. It’s next to two houses but it’s still quiet with a great view of the marsh. It was the perfect retreat for the area.

This might be the best vacation rental we have ever had. My grandson liked this vacation more than Disney World. It was the perfect place to relax and just enjoy being with family. Mark was great and available if we had any questions. We will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely loved this home! Perfect for a little get away in the Charleston area. Very spacious both inside and out! Oliver was a great host and very responsive. Would stay here again!

Outstanding. The home is beautiful and comfortable. Very spacious with great outdoor areas to enjoy. The photos match up perfectly. The neighborhood is quiet. We didn’t use everything available to us but loved to dock and the porches and decks. We enjoyed the area very much and would definitely book this AirBNB again. The owners are very responsive and want you to enjoy the stay. We appreciated the use of the elevator in the home for luggage and our dog’s crate—made it so easy to get settled.

Catrina's townhouse was perfect for our family of 6 adults, one toddler and a baby. We especially liked the location as you could walk to the beach and restaurants and yet get to Charleston fairly quickly for sightseeing and doing things in the city. Catrina supplied beach toys/chairs/towels and a wagon for loading up to take to the beach which we really appreciated. There were also bikes we could use and two kayaks(although we didn't use the kayaks). She instructed us what to expect upon arrival and what supplies were provided before we arrived so we could pack or pick them up before arriving which was nice as it seemed a little different than some things on the west coast. We had a great time and would highly recommend this for a family get away!

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The place is newly renovated and well appointed, while retaining elements of the historic Girl Scout camp, such as the original stone walls. My son loved collecting eggs and hanging out with the chickens. Excellent hosts - responsive and attentive. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Very accommodating host with a well-located haven close to Folly and downtown.

Had a great time over the weekend that me and my girlfriend stayed. The river was beautiful and the property was very peaceful. Janie and Lucy (her dog) are really nice and even gave us some suggestions of things to see around the area. Definitely could see myself planning another trip here and recommending it to friends
