The cottage has a unique atmosphere, created with materials from old times. It is in the back of our yard, overlooks the meadows, the forest and the dike. In the summer, the cows graze from the adjacent farm in the meadow, the ducks and meats swim in the ditch. You regularly see a stork or a deer! With the sound of the cuckoo, the kievit or the owl, you will experience the nature very close! From the conservatory or from the large garden, you can see the sun rise in the morning.

Room 2 on the Kromme Rijn in the "outside of Utrecht"

Very nice place to stay relatively central in Holland. Everything is very quick to reach. We were there and went on a fishing trip (about 4 days). Everything was nice and clean and we also had a welcome cake that Sandra provided. The bathroom was very nice and we felt very comfortable. The bed in the bedroom is a bit hard and I would recommend bringing your own pillows, but that didn't bother us so much. Unfortunately, it was very cold and you could not really enjoy the beautiful terrace on the river. Very nice in summer. It was relatively difficult to find out that there are two single rooms, each with its own bathroom and a shared kitchen. I don't think you can tell that from the pictures. This did not bother us either, but it would be helpful to know beforehand. All in all, definitely recommended.

I booked this place for my niece as a gift for her good grades and she was thrilled! Great cabin with everything you see and need in the pictures. Beds are comfortable and the outdoor area invites you to linger. Check-in was absolutely problem-free and smooth thanks to Chantal. Great base for trips to the neighboring towns and for long walks. Thank you for everything, we will definitely book again!
