Beautiful little cottage. Loads to do without leaving the front door including hot tub, fire and BBQ. Area and garden is stunning! Jane was very helpful and communicative on check in and check out, very friendly! Clean and as described in photos.

The Conifers is a wonderful, peaceful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Dumfries and Galloway and coming back to such a wonderful relaxing spot each day. The hot tub water was checked daily and chemicals added if required which really impressed me. The lodges and cabins have plenty of room between them so you can be assured of privacy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here and we will be back.

We had the best stay! Lisa’s home is beautiful and cosy. We felt relaxed as soon as we stepped in. Lisa was extremely thoughtful to have left us a welcome gift for us and our dogs The dogs loved the blankets provided and the extra treats The beds were so comfortable and clean. Everything was spotless Lisa was kind enough to offer an earlier check in on the day. We climbed Scaffell pike and went to Seascale Beach. It was a perfect stay with family Would hugely recommend !!

Teapot Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It was very well kitted out, decorated very nicely, and had lots of nice touches to make our stay even better. Lammisa was a great host - very responsive and friendly, and was happy to help whenever needed. There's great local amenities within walking distance, and several local villages and towns within a short drive, including Ennerdale Lake. The place was very comfortable, with plenty of seating indoor and out, with several comfy beds suitable for a group of adults. The only thing to be aware of is that the bedroom with the bunk beds has very little storage space, so if you're staying for a few days and have a large bag/suitcase - you'll need to find somewhere else to put it! Overall - we were all very pleased with this stay and we'd definitely book again in future.

The cottage was the perfect base for us to explore the local area & catch up with nearby family. The cottage is well equipped & surrounded by a beautiful landscape. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 💛

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Cleator. The cottage was exactly as described and we had everything we needed. It was easy to find and there was parking outside most days. We wanted a walking holiday and this cottage was perfect - it is right on the famous Wainwright Coast to Coast National Trail (in fact the route is on the pavement outside!) and you can walk back to St Bees or up towards Ennerdale Bridge. You can also walk down to the Ehen river in one minute. We also drove out to walk Scaffel Pike and Haystacks as well as reaching other parts of the C2C towards Grasmere. A drive to Ravensglass is also recommended - it's a beautiful untouched village on the Esk estuary with a narrow gauge railway that takes you up to Eskdale. Thank you to David and Victoria who were extremely welcoming and helpful with a couple of questions that we had whilst there. For great food shopping, we used the Coop at Egremont and Cleator Moor which were both just over a five minute drive away.

It has been a pleasure to stay in Zan's house. Very comfortable, clean and makes you feel at home. The children loved the horses, chickens and all the animals. It was the perfect spot to recharge our batteries

Able to arrive a little earlier than expected at this lovely house with a gem of a large rear garden in a quiet location. Homemade cake and milk left for us, a thoughtful touch. House immaculate. The conservatory a smashing room to relax in and excellent storage (we took 2 bikes).

Zoe was great in communicating and the property is indeed a rare find. The garden was unique and our Labrador loved it.

Lovely place to stay. Karen made us feel welcome from the start meeting us with her two dogs and making sure that all was ok. She had left us and our dogs some treats which were very much appreciated. The location is a 5-10minute drive from Moffat where there are a lot of dog friendly restaurants and some lovely riverside walks. A lovely stay

First time staying in lake district and we wanted to bring along my girlfriends dog which she was welcome to stay in the lovely cottage, was very cosy and in a nice area with lots of places to drink and eat. would definitely come back to stay again. Laura was very helpful and responded quickly when help was needed. me and my girlfriend had a lovely stay and enjoyed our time in the lovely cottage and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the area.

I was in Portpatrick with my 2 dogs. Forgot their beds but no problem as Lesley had everything in cottage for dog owners. Cottage in a quiet location a minutes walk from the hum of the village. Lots of easy 10-15 min walks on doorstep as are some more strenuous walk starting within the village. Hotels nearby offer up excellent food with great service and if that doesn’t suit your taste there’s a good cafe nearby too. All in all the cottage is well equipped for ands situated for anyone wanting a relaxing time or excellent walks with stunning views

We loved our short stay at Stephanie's cottage. It was clean, comfortable, charming and convenient for meeting our friends. Stephanie was helpful and responsive, and the cottage and pretty garden were perfect for the two of us.

There was everything we could possibly need in the cottage which is so tastefully furnished including two reclining chairs in the conservatory which is where we spent most of our time. Even on the days it rained we could relax in the conservatory, reading or doing a jigsaw, and unwind. Gina and her husband are very friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. If we could give it six stars we would!

Lovely peaceful stay in beautiful grounds. Lots of walks on the private grounds including walk to their private beach. Very tranquil and special place. We did a few day trips including Ayr PortPatrick some local areas for nice restaurants. My son loves football and we went to see local town Stranraer play on his birthday and they won. We saw lots of deer and nature everywhere. Children loved the zip wire and there was a games room which we didn’t manage to get to. Kate and Angus couldn’t have been more helpful, lots of great recommendations and wonderful welcome hamper which was delicious and appreciated. Beautiful place and private grounds bigger than expected. We were sad to leave and miss the lovely scenery. Thanks so much for a memorable trip.

Accommodation was booked for colleagues for business purposes. Everything was exactly as described and suited out needs perfectly. Very friendly host and communicative hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

Our host, Karen, was perfect. She was polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Her property was stunning and had everything we needed to be a a home from home. Her particular attention to our dogs needs really stood out. We were welcomed by milk in the fridge, fresh fruit, treats and toys for the dog and a plethora of leaflets books and dining out ideas for the area. Loved the little touches like notes on the OS maps…it really is the little details that count. We had an amazing stay in this beautiful and peaceful property. Creetown had so much to offer in such a welcoming and subtle way, everyone in the community was friendly and took the time to talk about places to go, local history…and even helped us deer spot literally meters from the front door. Perfect week away.

Beautiful house overlooking river. Everything you need is there and everything works. Also within walking distance of shops and town centre., so best of both worlds. Would go back. Peter

We had a wonderful stay at The Place. The location is breathtaking, and the house itself is perfect - every detail is beautiful and well thought-out, and Lucy had provided anything one could think of. Everything was of very high quality, from the bed linen and towels to the kitchen equipment. We were all adults, but if you have children, there are lots of toys, games, and activities, so that even on rainy days, there is plenty to do. Great walks nearby, perfect both for those who like hills and those who prefer flatter ground - Buttermere and Crummock are wonderful low ground walks, and of course the walk though Holme Woods to the Kirkstile is lovely. This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. There were Red squirrels, deer, lots of birds. Anne was a great host very helpful and pleasant. Thoughrely recommend a stay here.

This property is ideally placed. Quiet, well equipped and comfortable. Lovely view of the sea and hills when walking through the town. Just was really helpful.
