Cottage holiday rentals in Whitsand Bay

Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

We had a great break at Harper's Cottage, Richard and Ute were great hoss.. We had a great welcome and quick tour, lots of good recommendations for where to eat out and about the area in general. All the small touches at the cottage add up to a great stay. Well equipped kitchen, lovely linens, dog beds, great shower, great hot tub, all of it was Fab. The cottage was very private, with amazing views from the garden and the conservatory. We hope to visit again next time we are in Cornwall.

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

We had a beautiful week at The Cart Barn, beautiful location with beautiful views and a private garden which was perfect for our pooch! we spent most of our evenings watching the beautiful cows out the garden! the hot tub was a lovely addition and the barn had everything we needed to make ourselves and our dog feel at home! Some great recommendations in the welcome book and from the owners of local things to do! Will definitely be returning in the future! :)

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

Tranquil, beautifully converted barn. Extremely comfortable and very welcoming. Perfect for a break away from the rat race!! And Davina’s gluten-free lemon drizzle cake is amazing!! Thank you for a second very enjoyable stay!

The Linhay was absolutely perfect for our anniversary getaway, cosy and private with stunning views from the hot tub in the garden. Just a short drive to the local pub and the beach too! Graham and Jane were lovely hosts, present at check in and check out, always responsive to our questions but still left us to enjoy our stay without interruption. Overall a wonderful experience, we're hoping to come back again for longer in the future!

Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely accomodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We enjoyed walks around the farm and we were joined by one of the hosts dogs a couple of times which we loved. We even managed to see an otter down at the river on our first night! Bird and hedgehog watching from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly… bliss.

A perfect apartment for a short stay in beautiful Looe. The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its location is great with a wonderful view down over Looe harbour. If you're planning to walk, it might be a rather steep climb to come back up to the apartment. All in all we had a great time. Highly recommended!

Charming property and a charming host. Very comfortable 3 night stay in peaceful Latchley in the beautiful Tamar Valley. The property was spacious, clean and tidy with a private courtyard cottage garden and the convenience of car parking on site. A really peaceful location just a stones throw from riverside walks alongside the Tamar and beyond. We'd stay again without hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay here it was excellent! The cottage was lovely, with super views across to the Hoe. Some very good places to eat and drink nearby, and lots of place to walk. We had a lovely holiday and hope to return again very soon.

We had a great stay here in the village of Sticker. It is on the main bus route from St Austell to Truro, so was very easy to get to from the train station (which is next to the bus station). Steve & Sue were very welcoming and helpful, and the cottage had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. There is a pub and a village shop/post office a short walk away, so very convenient. We hired a car and found it very easy to get about as we were so central. It was lovely to come back after a day’s sightseeing to the peace and quiet of our cosy cottage (and sit in the garden when the weather permitted!). We would not hesitate to recommend Steve’s cottage!

We had a wonderful 3 weeks at the barn and were very sad to leave! As soon as we arrived, I felt myself relax. The gardens and farmland were beautiful and so peaceful, and the barn itself was thoughtfully considered, spotlessly clean, spacious and very well furnished. We had a lot of fun exploring around the farm with our 3 year old - playing down by the river and rowing the boat on one of the small lakes. It was amazing to have this on our doorstep! We visited a lot of places during our stay but my favourite was probably Boscastle - we enjoyed walking through the village through the valley to the cliffs and watching the blowhole in action. We loved the Boscastle Farm Shop & Cafe too - we sat outside enjoying the wonderful views while we ate delicious food and our little one had fun in the play area. Liz and Robert were the best hosts - we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were super responsive when we needed anything. I really hope we can return to stay again one day!

Bolthole - “a place that you can go to when you want to get away from your usual life and escape from other people” This is exactly what you get. With a cosy atmosphere and stunning view in the heart of one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Plenty to do and ideal for doing nothing. Loved it.

Had a wonderful stay here! The cottage was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed at. Lovely sheets and bedding. We were nice and comfortable and set in a lovely little friendly village. The location is good for exploring all over Cornwall and Dartmoor. Responsive, friendly hosts..Wendy even offered to post some bits we had left behind back home to us. We definitely hope to return one day, thank you :)

It was a real treat to get to stay in such an historic property with amazing views and outdoor space! They have gone out of their way to make this quirky, old cottage into a small oasis - comfy sitting room, strong wifi, plenty of hot water, comfy bed, dish washer, etc. It was great to walk parts of the Coastal Path and come back to our cozy lodging. Definitely book the private parking if you can, it is already a bit difficult without going all the way to the public parking.

The property was as described and we found it beautifully decorated and stacked with useful equipment. The kitchen had all the cooking tools you could need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our visit and found plenty of room to host family for dinner. Thank you for making this a real home from home! We shall be back. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Mario's. The accommodation is very comfortable and the decor is beautiful. You'll find everything you need, and then some. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and strong. The kitchen was well equipped and seemed to have everything, though we didn't cook, so I can't really say more. The welcome basket was thoughtful and generous and much appreciated. Looe itself is a pretty little town, but unfortunately it is inundated with tourists which makes it feel overcrowded during the main part of the day. It's definitely wise to book any restaurants in advance. The streets are incredibly narrow, so definitely best to park in one of the carparks at the base of the town. Having said that, once you're in, it's a very easy stroll into town and to the coastal walks, as long as you don't have any mobility issues. All in all, it's a lovely cottage and good value. The location is ideal – just a short stroll into the village, meaning we could pop out for morning pastries or evening meals without worrying about parking. The views from the windows are exactly what you dream of for a Cornish getaway. A truly memorable stay in a charming corner of Cornwall!

We stayed for 3 nights, lovely location, nice and peaceful. The cottage had everything we needed and was very well equipped. Lovely cottage with plenty of character, lovely garden and picturesque stream and bridge at the bottom of the garden. Jane was very responsive and the cottage was clean and well presented. My favourite airbnb I have ever stayed at! The cottage is so beautiful and Oliver and Louise were so responsive and helpful with great tips for the area! The space was clean and tidy and had all the amenities you could need! Woody the lab is very sweet, we will miss him! Whenever I return to Cornwall I will book again without a shadow of a doubt!

What a clean, beautiful cottage in such calm surroundings - we've enjoyed every minute. The cottage was perfect - clean and tidy with stunning nautical decor, we felt right at home the minute we walked in. The view of the sea is much better than described - a highlight for me was sitting in bed drinking my morning coffee watching the waves! The beach is a 2 minute walk away and we had it pretty much to ourselves. Sadly we didn't catch a glimpse of the local dolphins! The garden is full of beautiful flowers - the access is from the road up a path with steps thru the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed in the way of utensils/cutlery/crockery, the bedrooms were clean with fresh bedding, the lounge was well stocked with games/books/dvds which the kids loved. Nick was extremely responsive and proactive, very helpful when I messaged him, and we were very grateful for a bit of flexibility on checkout. Overall a lovely relaxing experience - can't wait to return!! Thank you!
