Beachfront holiday rentals in Whitsand Bay

It was a real treat to get to stay in such an historic property with amazing views and outdoor space! They have gone out of their way to make this quirky, old cottage into a small oasis - comfy sitting room, strong wifi, plenty of hot water, comfy bed, dish washer, etc. It was great to walk parts of the Coastal Path and come back to our cozy lodging. Definitely book the private parking if you can, it is already a bit difficult without going all the way to the public parking.

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

Mario was a fantastic host and very quick to respond to any questions. On arrival at the property we unloaded the luggage outside and then drove to a suggested carpark an 8 minute walk back to the property. Mario had provided a lovely welcome basket of goodies and there was a dog bed provided which our dog really enjoyed snuggling up in after our days out. The property is ideally situated on a quiet street but with shop's and some really lovely restaurants a minutes walk away (Juju's tapas was amazing food, hosts and ambience. Fifty restaurant another must, book if you have a special occasion and like fine dining. The Cody Shack for the best fish and chips). We had some lovely day trips to Polperro, Wistmans Wood in Dartmoor was stunning. There is a beautiful coastal walk from Looe to Talland Bay hotel with wonderful views. If you are looking for a quiant and comfy base to explore Looe and the surrounding area we would very much recommend Marios place, you won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful week staying at The Courtyard, beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. Very comfortable upstairs lounge with two balconies to make the most of the views. Plus a lovely courtyard filled with gorgeous greenery making it feel very tropical (and lots inside too). The bed is probably the most comfortable we have slept in! Stoke Fleming is a lovely village with access to the SW coastal path in both directions – the walk to Dartmouth is a must (and get the bus back!) Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area too. Jill’s communication is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Courtyard 😊we most certainly hope to return!

Everything exactly as described. Was such a unique and beautiful location, perfect accommodation for the 4 of us over the week. Enough places within a short walk to have breakfast, lunch or dinner plus the ability walk a round trip loop along the entire beach at low tide. Really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend.

What a treat! We had a 4 night stay in this beautiful house where every last detail has been thought about to add to your enjoyment and comfort. Everything was first class, very comfortable beds and pillows, spotless bathrooms with proper size towels, plenty of good cutlery and tableware, utensils for cooking if you wanted to cook. The house was a delight with lovely deep sofas overlooking one of the balconies to the ever changing landscape of the waters beyond. It would be hard not to enjoy whatever the weather throws at you! Quaint little coastal themed apartment full of amenities and all essentials to make trip stress free. Easily connected to local day trips and 10 mins to nearest small town with lots of food options. Friendly hosts welcomed us and gave great suggestions for things to do in local area - would recommend to friends & family

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Annexe, Emma was responsive and super kind. The property was exactly as described and even though we were pre-warned of a bit of noise the the garden if the weather was nice (which it was) we were not disturbed in the slightest. The Annexe is a perfect size for two, very comfy and there were some welcoming touches which were very thoughtful. There is a pub and lovely Italian restaurant withing a few seconds walk so easy to refuel after a day of visiting the area. We would definitely stay again!

A beautiful apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The space felt both cozy and luxurious, with tasteful decor, beautiful sea view, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect and nice having the hotel next door. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We really enjoyed our stay at Thurlstone. The apartment was ideally located on the beach making it easy for easy beach fun for the kids. They went rockpooling, swimming and made sandcastles every day. We enjoyed the views of the sunset while having dinner and drinks on the balcony. The flat was bright and spacious. We felt safe and had a comfortable stay with everything that a family of five would need. Our host was responsive, accommodating and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat :)

It was so lovely to arrive ,open the door and be wowed by the place , it was comfortable and clean and Susanne had left some nice treatsfor us .she was available to contact for any questions and very friendly ,i would definately recomend her

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! What a great find! This bungalow was lovely, comfortable, warm and homely. There was a games console and dvds (although we didn’t get chance to try them). The beds were really comfy. The views from the holiday village were amazing…Even on the most miserable of days. We stayed during half term, so there was a bit of kids entertainment on most evenings in the family bar, but even if there wasn’t, there are books and games galore, besides the outdoor ones. Limited food availability (very basic) but there is a lovely restaurant across the road in walking distance too. Close enough to travel to any other Cornwall sights. Would definitely stay again. This is our second stay at Atlantic View - and just as wonderful. Beautifully situated, with stunning views. A home from home - the space is very clean and well equipped. The holiday village is quiet, but with new facilities open which are lovely. Heated pool, bar and restuarant within walking distance.

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

This is the second year we’ve stayed here and we can’t wait to visit again. The apartment is a perfect visiting the surrounding towns and beaches. South Milton beach is literally on your doorstep with great access to the south west coastal path. The outdoor heated pool was lovely for days when the sea was just a little bit too cold and the balconies were ideal for the amazing sunsets.

A fabulous apartment, sensational view, spotlessly clean and some thoughtful touches on our arrival. Directions and check in arrangements were very clear and hosts followed up after to check in to make sure everything was OK. The 50 steps up to the apartment is slightly daunting, especially after a long cycle ride or coastal path walk ... but the view and immaculate furnishings more than make up for it! The added benefit of a balcony and dedicated parking space added to a perfect stay. Would recommend without hesitation.

The perfect cosy cottage for a weekend away. The location could not be better - right in the heart of the village and with stunning views overlooking the bay. Hermoine and her father Andy were very responsive and helpful. Would really recommend.

Gorgeous apartment, beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. Super comfy bed and lovely spacious bathroom. Great location on the harbour close to nice bars and restaurants and walking distance to Barbican and Plymouth Hoe. Highly recommend.

The location is ideal – just a short stroll into the village, meaning we could pop out for morning pastries or evening meals without worrying about parking. The views from the windows are exactly what you dream of for a Cornish getaway. A truly memorable stay in a charming corner of Cornwall!

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

Absolutely blown away to be honest. The owl houses are stunning. From the overall feel to the small details they have nailed it. I'll definitely be coming back for sure and will hold the trips memories with me for many years to come. Thank you Lou and Tim for sharing this amazing space and good luck for the next venture!
