Cabin holiday rentals in White River

John's cabin was great. It's a clean, private cabin with everything you could need for a stay except washer/dryer. We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. The location is about 20 minutes from downtown Hot Springs, but we enjoyed the seclusion for a couple's retreat. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking in the area.

The house is tucked up a hill that has beautiful views! Teresa and her cohost have thought of everything. It was the little details that spoke volumes about the service they provide. Even though we brought our own toiletries there are times when people do forget some things., and Teresa had them covered if they did. There were individually wrapped toothbrushes and razors to name a few.. We will definitely be coming back for a float trip! This is a wonderful place to come and relax or to have fun with the water activities that are just down the road! Thank you so much!

Lindsey and Heidi’s cabin was such a charming gem of a place. It was clean, cozy, peaceful, and very private! A perfect couples retreat. Her kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook full meals. My favorite detail were the white waffle knit robes. I brought clothes to wear but probably didn’t need to because I pretty much lived in the robes my entire stay!! The hosts were so responsive to my questions and even suggested some local activities that were happening the weekend we were there, which was great! I highly recommend their cabin if you are looking for a place near the Buffalo River!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend and it was the perfect fit for our trip to Hot Springs! It seemed like everything was a 25 minute drive (Hot Springs National Park, Ouachita National Forest, Walmart, great restaurants, alligator farm entertainment, etc.) and the driving scenery was so beautiful. We even made it over to Little Rock! One of the best parts of this trip was getting to come back to the runaway train cabin to relax at night. The Fox Pass Cabin property is very well kept and each cabin is secluded and offers stellar privacy. We enjoyed having outdoor seating and a hot tub with cozy lighting in the trees and on the porch. The inside of the cabin was incredibly comfortable and well-outfitted with all we needed. We highly recommend this property to any couple or small group of friends looking for a cozy stay in the Hot Springs/Garland county area!

The location of the cabin was at the top of a high mountain so we could see the spectacular view from our bedroom window! It was especially breathtaking whiling relaxing in the hot tub on the deck. The whole house was very clean and made it such a comfortable place to vacation. Like a home away from home. If you have any sensitivity to higher elevations, it may take a while for your body to adjust. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Excellent!!

This by far has been my favorite stay yet! It was so clean, so refreshing, and so soothing for the soul! It’s very secluded, but also close enough to everything that you’re not having to drive very far to do anything. We were recommending this place to people before we even left for home! I think the most impressive part was how cozy it was, most places you stay it’s hard to sleep (not your bed not comfortable) this wasn’t the case here! The bed was extremely comfortable and the atmosphere was just so peaceful, we slept like babies! Definitely made for a very memorable 10 year anniversary! Absolutely will be returning as soon as the opportunity arises!

Beautiful place to stay for a private getaway. Close to activities on petit Jean.

The cabin was nestled in the woods, very peaceful and quiet! Loved the back covered deck!! The hot tub was relaxing after miles of hiking. The bed was comfy. Everything was clean and organized neatly. The kitchen was well stocked too. We would stay here again.

We loved staying here. It is was comfortable and had everything we needed. The river is beautiful and relaxing. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This was a great place to stay. Beautiful countryside and amazing views of the mountains. Plenty of space for our 3 dogs to roam. Loved the outdoor grill and outdoor fire pit. We used both and had no problems. John was in communication with us for anything happening while we stayed there. Besides the free wifi we did have great cell service on the hill. Kitchen was well stocked with spices and supplies of all sorts. We will be coming back.

My husband and I had wonderful time staying here. It was relaxing, peaceful, and the buffalo bender cabin has many little details that make it an enjoyable stay!

A lovely, many windowed cozy spot in the woods. The rain kept us in from exploring one whole day and we enjoyed it. High ceiling w nice decoration and well equipped small kitchen was very nice. Nice to sit in 3 areas under a roof, even in the rain. Remote & private in a beautiful area! Just what we like!!!

The house was great, it is private, secluded, gorgeous views, the place was super clean and Emily was fantastic, she was super communicative, helpful and friendly. All in all probably one of my wife and i’s favorite airbnbs.

So many people have said wonderful things about Barbara’s place so it seems that my words would just fall in amongst them. There was something so special about the location and the peaceful atmosphere that when I say “we didn’t want to leave “, I really mean it. It rained and stormed while we were there and it just made everything more beautiful. It was our anniversary and we needed that time together that we don’t get at home. The driving distance to town was just right. The trails on the property led to clear water that you could hear from the porch because of the rain. The fire pit allowed us to roast marshmallows and hotdogs. Our beagle enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching for rabbits or squirrels. Barbara provided beverages, condiments, tea, and even coffee. The way the house is decorated is refreshing but also draws you in to the importance of history and of leaving a legacy of love. We thank you Barbara. From our hearts. The cabin was squeaky clean and supplied with many thoughtful items. The furniture was comfortable and allowed us to stretch out and lounge while enjoying movies and each other's company. It was so nice to relax on the back porch with the rocking chairs overlooking the creek below while enjoying our morning coffee and also while cooking out on the grill. I was pleased to find that the porch was just as clean as the house, free of wasp and spider webs. Our host was very quick to reply to our questions and communicated very well. I hope to be able to visit again, lol, hopefully during a time that isn't so rainy so that we may explore the creek and surrounding trails. We had a very relaxing and pleasant experience. 10/10 we recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was so peaceful. There was a lot of rain so we didn’t have any luck fishing. However, we enjoyed sitting on the dock and deck listening to the water and taking in the cool breeze! Great little place to unplug got a weekend.

This was our fourth stay here and we plan to return next year. It is just perfect for the three of us and we’ve come to think of this little cabin as our home away from home. We travel from Ohio every year to fabric shop at Marshall Dry Goods. The cabin is so peaceful and relaxing. Jonathan always stops in to say hi and check on us. We don’t even consider anyplace else to stay! Thanks Jonathan and Jennifer. See you in a year!

Amazing is the best way to describe our time staying at the cabin. First time trout fishing and was able to catch our first trout off of the dock on the crystal clear waters of the Little Red River. Couldn’t ask for better scenery. Red River Trout Dock was very helpful supplying us with the correct baits and gear to fish the river!

This cabin was exactly what our family needed! It was secluded, but close enough to town for an evening out. We spent a day kayaking on the Buffalo River, fished in town, and spent a lot of time just hanging out! We even had a spontaneous karaoke night around the fire pit (with toasted marshmallows, of course)! It was an absolutely lovely place

This was AMAZING and I will definitely be going back. Not only was the cabin itself beautiful with lots of nice amenities, we arrived to the cabin and there was a welcome basket and an assortment of baked goods inside from a local bakery which made it feel all more personable. The host was very communicative and his family was very friendly and helpful by allowing us to use their lake equipment for the day. 10/10 recommend!!

Great updated cabin on the river. Spent the mornings wade fishing right behind the house when the dam was closed then enjoyed the spacious living room and decks in the afternoons. Would recommend this for anyone looking to spend a weekend on the Little Red
